Daily average for the last 16 trading days...1.4 million...jeez I held that many at one time...
No communication...nothing to tell...?
And heres the irony...if someone bought one of the non-core prospects, or a J/V was announced for one of them, the SP would spike in a heartbeat...
The simple fact is that Junior Miners are beaten down and there is no risk appetite to finance them either ATMO...
Goldman still believe we are on the cusp of a metals boom...when it happens, those that are out will get sellers remorse.
Meantime, non-big tech equity markets are in the doldrums pending a certainty of peaked interest rates.
Theres a recession coming but markets price forwards so metals and especially copper will lead the charge...
"any adult should be capable of hearing both sides of a story"
Yet you called my side of the story nonsense out of hand. Mmmmmm....
I think proof of share ownership as a prerequisite to posting would be a huge improvement here - we'd lose about 60% of the regulars but the debate quality would improve enormously.
Ortherncopper
Well said... from another poster that sold out and is no longer invested. Yes... it's very easy to see both sides of the coin and focus on the downside when you are keen to get back in lower.
Have you noticed that since Sharketmare publically stated he bought back in, the negative comments seem to have disappeared.
There's one thing you can trust on these BB's and that's genuine investors that are invested do not deramp the company they are invested in... simple as that. No problem with holders wanting to have a grumble and we all do but that's very diffferent to the doom and gloom posted by you and Bozi et al.
Your colours firmly pinned to the mast but too cowardly to admit your true position. Another reality on these bb's is tat you'll find disgengenious posters galore.
It's the way it is.
Some of you should be ashamed.
Sean - there's nothing I can really say to change your mind but rest assured I wouldn't spend my days here discussing the company if I didn't hold.
If you claim to know me like Fort then you should have a feel for my personality by now. I don't advertise my dealing and similarly I don't feel like the world revolves around me, and therefore you won't see me involved where I don't have an interest. Life is simply too short.
Nonsense... he is simply willing to see both sides of an argument... rather than just wanting to hear everything is rosy and all is fine.... an echo chamber does no one any favours.... any adult should be capable of hearing both sides of a story
Sad but true... it became obvious months ago that Bozi had sold. He must have got out in the low 20s so shouldn't really complain - though I suspect he exited while still under water, probably with an average in the high 20s. I don't think he is deramping hoping to get back in lower, I think he is just scunnered now with Solg and can't bear listening to those of us who still have hope or a long term view.
It would be nice if you could only get posting privileges on these boards if you did it through a broker, who certified that you owned these shares. Or at least, using the same authentication, it was made clear on your profile whether you were holding or not based on your portfolio. That way there would little room for liars and frauds, and those friendly "concerned" "fellow investors" who just have our interest at heart. Plus we wouldn't get dross like tesla1 annoying us.
No, I don't think Bozi holds Solg anymore, and i don't know if he would want to in the future, I think he's just sick to the back teeth of the endless waiting and the over promising and under delivering, it would wear anyone down. He was a good and valuable poster here once. I think we all just want it to end soon.
You're not all for the negatives at all. Telling Scott to get a move on is as real as you get.
You rarely respond to the coherent points raised by RCGL, DinnerMoney (granted you did interact earlier today but it's unusual), SharketMare (unless you're having a dig) etc.
I'm positive when I feel there are things to be positive about. I don't think there's much to be positive about right now. The best thing about the current situation is we have parties in the data room, but that could come to something or nothing.
That's realistic.
We've ticked a couple of boxes with govt but there's no indication on whether the terms are acceptable to a potential partner.
That's realistic.
Other than that, it's cash burn and no hope of the CGP held shares being sold for fair value, I a concern you have highlighted yourself.
Anyone being more positive isn't really being honest with themselves and others.
Bozi, all you've done is spout the negatives, all the positives are played down. You are without a doubt 'uninvested'. About time you came clean and just admitted it rather than hiding behind this apparent realistic view.
You are not invested in SOLG. Simple as that. And it's not about seeing just positives... I'm all for some negatives. But where you are concerned... I'm afraid it's been a sorry tale of a deramper and basher on a daily basis. No one believes you are invested here...and that's the 'reality'.
Fortissimo - it's always better to hold a stock and have a realistic view of the positives and the negatives rather than be like you, disingenuously pumping it to anyone who will listen.
Tier 1...world class asset... Blah blah blah.
And Tesla would tell us it happened because one too many cows broke wind
I would assume should a meteor crash into Cascabel Quady would tell us that's the mine started...
You're missing the point, what I'm asking is whether anyone knows of a meterorite crashing into a Tier1 asset. I've just got a enquiring mind... you can't just stick your heads in the sand.
LM... yes... apparently lots of valuable of stuff in that universe dust... if we had a bucket load I wonder whether the market would value us any higher?
Well, humanity being wiped out would have an upside - we would reach out net zero targets much quicker.
I suppose the one consolation should that happen is that people won’t have been forced to spend their life savings on a golf cart
It did happen 65 million years ago a couple of hundred miles north so who knows. Trouble is, such an event would likely depress the market generally. And wipe out humanity.
You see, this is why I’ve always disliked this thread so much, it’s always full of so much personal crap. Yes I held SOLG, yes I sold today and yes I did let a nice tidy profit slip through my fingers. It is what it. Is and I’ve no reason to lie. I sincerely wish you all get the result you want from Solg. Take it easy.
Don't know about the rest of you but the loss of Mr Jitters from this board has put a right dampener on my weekend. I'm not good with coping at loss, and it's hard to make sense of it all.
A rose has grown over the garden wall. It blooms on the other side.
:(
You sound just like that Aussie poster - completely incapable of actually reading and understanding what other people say.
Addicknt,
You're still at it? What confirmation bias? What nervousness? You've just invented all that!
There's a phrase (which ironically suits SOLG mamagement these days as well as you)... when in a hole stop digging!
The only abandonment aroudn here is where you put your brain this morning.
Can let me know answer to the meteorite colliding with tier1 asset? Mmmm?
Do you honestly think I'd still be invested if I I thought it will be abandoned? My question was a general one i.e it related to the whole industry. And please don't ask why I want to know - it's called an enquiring mind.
Stop leaping to conclusions based upon your own confirmation bias and nervousness.
Bozi, if I had the negative doom and gloom view that you have of SOLG I wouldn't be invested at all. I'd be invested in a stock that I think has upside. Which begs the question of why you are still 'apparently' invested here?
Hilarious. Thank you TheJitters aka The Man Who Never Was.
We shall all miss you. I daresay SOLG's loss is MARU's gain.
Family flowers only please.
Lovely cross-ramp TheJitters. I sincerely doubt you ever held SOLG.
Good luck with MARU. Not for me that one. Fails the smell test in a really bad way.
Wow, the bickering on this thread is relentless and I won’t miss it!
Sold out of SOLG today. Paid 16p so sold out at a loss after holding through 22p (hey ho). I just decided there’s better companies with better prospects and better run than SOLG.For anyone interested I switched into MARU. The CEO is very hands on and very communicative, they’ve loads of projects on the go and they are about to actually make money, something SOLG are unlikely to do.
Well worth a look guys and a brilliant telegram group full of excellent discussion that haste CEO as a member too.
Good luck to you all.
Well in your world Fort it's all sunshine, roses and chat of 50p+.
I don't necessarily think we'd abandon Cascabel and I don't believe Addicknt does either. The answer is likely somewhere in the middle.
