Novicehunter yes but it will have triggered a few stop losses
Well whatever, I had to rein my holding by 200k to put cash into a house a few weeks back. I managed to put £5k back in at a smidge under 10p. All feels a bit like that scene in the jungle book where Baloo is holding Shere Khan by the tail , too scared to let go!
Was clearly a take down to shake out the weak. Their loss is our gain, those of us who took advantage that is
All that’s left to say is thank you very much indeed!
Perhaps they might have commented if all this hadn't happened on such small volume - otherwise they'd be releasing an RNS everytime the MMs play silly buggers with the price.
Hi sean, if I’m recalling correctly (and it is an if) our company have ‘previous’ for not commenting when our SP has collapsed :
1) the 2020 covid collapse (the SP understandably collapsed as the markets wondered if this was the end of the world). I don’t recall a single peep from the company to give an ounce of support to shareholders?
2) the collapse from around 12p (when I first bought into SOLG in autumn 2013) to the floor in late 2015 of around 1.6p ( I recall being around 94% down on my holding at the time). Again, I don’t recall any comment from the company.
I will happily stand corrected on these figures, but overall, I’ve personally very rarely felt that the company was on my side as a small PI. More fool me for holding my shares? NO ! I hold and have held for the assets in the ground we have proven-up.
Maybe I’m naive, but it shouldn’t be like this.
All my humble opinion.
Dbw however difficult not to I for one have held onto every single one however foolish that may be. anyway agreed something does smell extremely fishy ! its as if the major holders want the little holders to sell up out of fear... no chance
Agreed, derampers working overtime, small investors capitulating, very weird dealings over in Canada, share price walked down huge amount on very small volume, company silent... it will all come out in the wash. But thoughts to those who were spooked, bailing out under 9p today - if this is dirty tricks it's despicable. After all this time I'd rather go down all guns blazing. Meantime, steady the buffs as they say.
10.56 to close
Well what was that all about
It doesn't just smell funny, it absolutely stinks. A lot of small shareholders have been spooked out of their shares over the past week.
Was that 750k share trade at 9.35p, a buy or a sell - who knows?
Mange tout ...mange tout
Today’s apparent inverted head & shoulders pattern on the line chart (bullish) might now mark the bottom?
Who knows because who knows what’s driven/driving this current assault on the share price? Maybe it’s simply PI holders selling having been disillusioned or having jitters after our company boss did his presentation? Maybe there will be delayed TR1(s) reported next week showing bigger holders having sold some? These trades can be delayed from being reported by up to 4 working/trading days by my understanding.
But I do wonder if something else is afoot?
As virtually always, us private investors are in the dark :-/
Ps, as I type, I note a late rally towards close @ 10.36p. A blue day at close would be something ….
AAAAnnnndddd breath...
Well, there was the magic '1' trade shortly after those 2 x 750k blocks.
Does feel like news is coming after that TSX action yesterday too. As I said... why go buying big across the pond at 12's when price in London below 9p?? We will find our soon no doubt.
Up 2.5% now 🤔
Fort
From 9% down to even …. Very odd
And dare I say it classic price action before significant news
( good or bad )
Did we really need to 'go downtown' to get that 1.5m block away?
These 750k blocks mirror what's been going on over on TSX.
Something cooking for sure. Rampety dampety wampety. Take your pick.
Back to even here....while down 17% tsx . Crazy stuff .
Bet it suits the Canadians
Those 100m shares could get placed with their mates at 12-15p and it’s look like they’ve gained a decent premium
Yes but surely it doesn't suit the CRG guys who effectively bought at 17p looking for a quick killing exactly a year ago...
Fort ….. out with the old eh ?
That’s Quady f***ed then
Because they want sellers and not buyers. Simple as that. This is a fishing expedition imho to snaffle the over leveraged trader or pi. Someone is seriously testing the liquidity.
Also, byt seeing some LTH's pushed out or exit, they gain new holders at 9p which will be delighted with a 30p offer even 18p offer as still 100% gains. You have a period now whereby you are seeing new punters come in and they have a different target price in mind.
Can't help think it suits Maxit... makes their task much easier if more interested parties involved as offer price lower.
Don't want to sell in any size, Viz my price but also don't want to see seller's...defensive...hardly surprising...
5.5% why??
Cheers Qali...top bloke.
