Needalife you (like slug in his various guises) throwing the word "obsessive" about is hilarious.
I'm invested here. Apparently you are not. Yet you post all day every day. About a share you are not invested in.
Time to get yourself a dictionary - the entry for "Obsessive" has a photo of you next to it.
PS - not sure why you are always so very angry on Tesla1 and 1984Investor's behalf when I out them as slug. It's got nothing to do with you. Or has it?
PPS - stop being so jealous of my trades. You only call them fantasy trades if the price goes up. When the price goes down you are laughing at my losses. Like slug, you produce a lot of posts, but the common denominator - apart from the abuse - is the low intelligence on display.
Never forget that on this board you are nothing more than one of these dafties you see in the street shouting at the buses.
Sorry subby I missed out that the CFO and the CFD both left the company following the very public failed fundraise, having recommended against it at the Board.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Hi subby
First read my post below...for the patient this is a bargain...if we get a repeat of 2008/2010 this will multibag...
Here are my responses to the points you make:
It has in fact gone from 40p to sub 8p before bouncing
I will deal with the macro factors later, but internally it has been chronically mismanaged.
Nick Mather can't really be blamed for overhyping it becauze the SP got up over 40p at least three times.
The PFS was a high spot but things started to go wrong in 2022 after 'PFS2' was published...
It had become clear that, in declining capital markets and with inflation starting to rise rapidly, that Cascabel was unfundable for a Junior Miner such as Solgold.
But the company needed money to keep going.
Darryl Cuzubbo had been appointed CEO in late 2021 but it was the previous acting CEO, Keith Marshall who, with consummate mining experience with Rio Tinto etc who persuaded the Board of a modified mining plan.
In May 2022 SOLG appointed a competent CFO, but Cuzzubbo tried to lead a 'cashbox' fundraising, against the advice of SOLG's bankers and its CFO and Corporate Finance Director.
The fundraise failed spectacularly and the SP plummeted from 35p to under 14p in under three months.
Unfortunately this coincided with a collapse in the copper price from over $5 to under $3.20 and coincidentally a fall in the gold price from over $2000 to under $1640...
So...a perfect storm...
Since then we have had the Cornerstone 'takeover' which boded well, with SOLG ending up with 100% of Cascabel and Bob Sangha (who engineered the Wyloo takeover of Noront) very publicly saying SOLG would be sold.
The 'merger' was a disaster because of internal incompetence and took twice as long as it needed to. As a result Scott Caldwell, ex CGP, took over as CEO and he has massively simplified things. There is no drilling going on anywhere but there are 20 interested parties in the data room.
Unfortunately during the news hiatus, Berry Street went into liquidation and sold its share stake, taking SOLG from c14p to under 8p...
So I hope thagt explains things.
Meanwhile, as I was writing this, Gold is flying and copper is up sharply.
Please make your own decisions, but my wife and I have 1.4 million shares at c11p and i think that tells you what my opinion is.
Good luck
Thanks for your extensive research Subby
Rk. Your now the 78th person on here to claim to have filtered someone.
But to unfilterthem when you feel the need to respond.
Apart from the gullibles on here, do you seriously think anyone believes they were filtered in the first place.
Another favourite of aguinaga is to say, he's having trouble with lse, they keep logging him off, and when he logs back on, he reads his filtered posts.
It appears lse log him off every time I post.
Bloody hilarious.
What did I say about a truth bomb
Hi guys,,I was wondering if any of the big holders had sold their stake in solgold? Something big must of happened for the sp to go from 30p to 8/9p? Or does anyone have any info on the sp drop? Are they about to issue more shares to raise money? I bet they are and that’s why.
Thanks in advance
Can you believe that the filtering algorithm just censored "qu int upled"...?
here is the bulk of my recent post on advfn...
i am in no doubt that china is manipulating both copper and gold while they continue to build up their stocks of both.
look at that quote from the gretchell article:
"central banks added a whopping 1,136 tonnes of gold worth some $70 billion to their stockpiles in 2022, by far the most of any year in records going back to 1950..."
gold went from $33 to $880 between 1972 and 1980; from $236 to $1940 between 2001 and 2011 (gordon brown sold a big chunk of gb's gold at the bottom!); and from $1050 to $2060 between 2015 and 2020...
the junior gold miners index (mvis) *****upled between november 2008 and november 2010..
and make no mistake...at these levels, solg is a gold play, with 75 million gold equivalent ounces.
we can all offer various opinions on gthe inflationary last couple of years, but...
at a time when us inflation went from 1.4% in jan 2021 to 9.1% in june 2022, copper went from $3.50 to $3.59...
but after the 2008 crash, copper tripled in just 2 years and, for example anto's share price (a major copper play) tripled over the same period...
indeed when copper went from $2.19 in march 2020 to $4.76 in october 2021, solg went from 11.75p to 41.75p...
and meanwhile, most of the major metals and minerals analysts are predicting a copper price boom by 2025 at the latest...
so...
solg is a junior miner
it has become a gold play
it is also a copper play and...
three of the world's biggest miners have a strategic stake...
its just a matter of time...
"time is a healer' is not a phrase that belongs in this market!
Time (or prolongued .. stretched out etc) is a killer! If there is one thing the market hates most it is...
1. Being strung along with no timeframes or care in the world
2. Declaring an SR 12 months ago and keeping the market waiting
3. Burning through $50m in cash in under 12 months and having zero to show for it.
Time is not on SOLG's side at all.
The prospect of twiddling thumbs for another 5 months whiole cash pile reduces to zero is about as welcoming or 'healing' as a brick in the face.
Totally agree Italian...the voice of reason...
Don't worry...I only posted about Quady because he slanders DBW. He was immediately refiltered.
I also look forward to the good natured Board we have had from time to time.
At least Quady is consistent. He has said from almost his first post all those years ago that Cascabel is going to production and that a takeover can be ruled out.
You have to admire his blind stubbornness...but of course when the takeover happens and he makes serious money like the rest of us, he will of course insist he was right all along...
I will now return to my knitting, macrame and origami.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas.
Eloro, ah, that explains it!
Don’t forget the clown 🤡 has 3 underwater T20s, the first of which expires this week, so he’ll be desperately trying to pump the price to get out without a loss, hence all the posts from the odious ramper…..
Have asked admin to remove my last two posts: they were not intended to cause offence. Apologies. Good to note so many remain convinced.
When they say "time is a healer"...
I think time is having the opposite effect on this BB. The longer we wait the more obtuse or confrontational some entries are.
Considering we are possibly all here to make money, the infight is the most useless behaviour.
We can just accept that we made the investment at some time at some price for reasons or predictions that belong to each of us, and just because the outcome is not what we expected in whatever time frame we had imposed on ourselves, it does not make that decision right or wrong, it does not make anyone else decision right or wrong, and it has no bearings on the outcome itself?
Come on, 41 days to Christmas, let's be merry!
And invested and incentivised Eloro. Agreed.
Sincere apologies for the typos...my handwriting is even worse!
Long ago I gave up being interested in what Quady says...and yes he's back on filter...
I can safely predict h'll either say I'm a liar or deluded, despite posting my decisions and holdings from time to time, having been accused of lying in the past...
So WTF...I sleep easy at night and I'm only interested in trying to add value on here. If people understand my reasoning and the position I take, of course it might encourage them to remain patient for what I truly believewill be a life changing payday.
So what Quady says is water off a ducks back for me and therefore why would `i want to read it.
However, I draw the line when he slanders a decent bloke like DBW, who is probably the most constructive poster on here and I happen to know is a genuine bloke and who deserves to make serious money.
That, Quady, is spineless and disgraceful. For somebody who has sought sympathy for your various conditions and disabilities, frankly you don't deserve any.
This is my last post on the subject of someobody who still, many of you are wasting time and emotional energy in indulging.
Its not my place to tell you what to do, and I know there is a dearth of stuff to talk about on here...but do you want your lives to be determined by exchanges with somebody who you would inherently dislkie or even ignore if he was anywhere near your social circle...or your workplace...or the pub...or whatever...
And no this is not a rant. His posts mark him out as a pathetic, desperate human being and thats why he will reamain on fliter.
Best wishes to all
It's Canadian English Add.
It's like saying the I've just had some friends of mine returned from a vacation in Ecuador. It doesn't mean that I sent my friends to vacation in Ecuador.
Warren is pretty bullish. At least his twitter post clarified his position.
Looks like it’s quadswallop Tuesday again.
Our resident snivelling, spineless, woke coward can’t resist taking cheap pot shots at me or even the likes of DBW and redknight who have him filtered.
He’s still the only fool that thinks a JV or production can happen. How stupid can one person be?
Eloro, actually I've just re-read the email and he did say, ' I've just had some very smart mining experts I know visit the site and they come back (sic) extremely excited about Cascabel and what an amazing deposit we have'.
Make of that what you will.
Eish, it's frustrating and I can see you are struggling with the BS that seems to be coming from SOLG and the market is all over it in a disapproving way.
1. We are not a developer
2. We are an explorer... but we are not exploring
3. We are looking at new mine plan (which is something a developer does mmm)
4. We have enough cash till Jun 2024 (erm... does that mean more non exploring and more cash burn on development plans??)
5. We have 20+ interested parties many been in and out of the data room (erm.. has anyone bought any straw made artifacts or coffee bean gifts while in the SOLG tour gift shop... is this the same data room that has a tent up with some long core sample tubes? Haven't they heard of powerpoint of Fedex?
I could go on and take the pi55 further but lets face it, the real reason why we are struggling for logic and why management seem to have been found out is down to the simple fact that the process of sale is taking longer. We all know there is a number of ways the SOLG business could be diced up and sold to realise value. But you have to sound buyers out to get a feel which is best course forwards and get your ducks in order. My prefered strategy would have been to split the business into two. Exploration biz arm and then ENSA. Do some JV's or farm outs and make the exploration self funded or partner funded ... and get on with it while ENSA just ticks along with Chinese tyre kicking etc etc. The explo company could have been spinned out too inviting new investors in that don't want the ENSA element draining cash.
That's my frustration. I wanted to see the management team deliver on the SR... not leave it open ended. I wanted to see exploration underway again but not with dilution or funding, through partner deals.
Instead, hear we are we what seems like a one shot strategy and that's 'sale'. I'm ok with that... but it has to be done swiftly now. This mismanagement by CGP guys is just killing the stock. The idea of voting them in for another 12 months feels like pulling your own teeth out. If they haven't achieved anything in over 12 months, why would another 12 months make a difference?
The reality is... SOLG have spun many yarns over last few years... we can fund it BS... followed by... we can sell it... followed by... erm... we can stretch it out into 2024... it's painful. Embarrassing and someone needs to put it to bed fast.
Eloro, that's interesting. The wording of his email seemed to imply he'd commissioned them. Clearly, he didn't. Anyway, the message is the same.
Eloro. You need help mate, desperately.
Have you no pride?
Oh dear Someone let Redknight out his box.
As usual 100% wrong on everything.
Not only did I post my purchases on here.
I posted them second's before executing the trade.
So those with long memories know exactly how much I hold, when I purchased them and how much I paid.
Unlike Redknight who lives in a fantasy world and pretends he holds loads of shares.
