They never seem to let it go but it’ll have to happen sooner or later 2.6m traded ….. not too shoddy
The early large buy...Paid premium ..... 829,554 @ 9.041p
Will they let it go today? now 9.31 v 9.44p
Watch out, Lord Braggart has arrived!
It won't be long before we are reading posts about the size of his position, and the large position his wife holds in solg. Everyone are mathematically illiterate and only his Turing like abilities can provide all of the answers here.
I wonder who is looking after his wife while he is on here making himself disagreeable? Lady Chatterley's Lover comes to mind:)
I detect an all talk and nothing in the trousers department boaster on the BB:)
RK, I'm not sure you understand my point. If the shares remain in Treasury at the point of an exit, the company can cancel them, thus increasing the return for all shareholders - fact. This is what I was referring to.
Sorry addickt but you're still not correct...
The shares are already in issue...they are part of the 3.001 billion.
And if they were sold to a prospective bidder it would definitely spike the price (hence Bob's observation about using them 'strategically')
But even ifd they are slowly fed into the market they would increase liquidity which, as I've said. is a major reason why this share is going nowhere...institutions or othe rbig buyers simply can't get any size...
Mrprt had to pay a 3% premium to get just 829k shares...
Redknight - re: operational cashflow of $1m per month...
Why is it a positive to be able to go 22 months doing 'nothing'?
What about the IPA minimum spending commitments?
What about the PFS3 costs (including external consultant fees)?
We know how much prior studies have cost.
What about making further regional progress (Porvenir as a minimum, Helipuerto etc.)?
Nincompoop Aussie Loser, you love to label folks as liars, yet provide no evidence to prove the falsehood which you are alleging. Since you are claiming falsehood, the onus is on you to provide the evidence to prove that you are right. It is not our responsibility to prove to you that we are right. You are not the final arbiter of truth here.
Bozi...thanks for posting so much commonsense...
I beg to disagree on gold and junior miners...
This time its different...and it will be for copper too...
We are long overdue a metals and minerals boom and that goes for Junior Miners too...just look at GDXJ which is breaking out forcefully...

Goldmans are the leading forecaster
https://www.kitco.com/news/2023-11-27/Goldman-Sachs-raises-12-month-gold-price-target-to-2-050-as-the-metal-s-shine-returns.html
https://finimize.com/content/buyers-are-buying-it-miners-arent-mining-it-coppers-a-boom-just-waiting-to-happen
"The copper mining industry, meanwhile, has been twiddling its thumbs.
There’s been close to zero investment in new projects for the last decade, because of – among other things – the prospect of poor returns due to low prices for the metal. But even when rising copper prices should’ve been an incentive over the last 12 months, there hasn’t been a single major new copper project approved.
The lack of a response from the copper suppliers has left the copper market very close to peak supply. Consider then that it takes at least two years to extend an existing mine and as long as eight years to ramp up a completely new mining project, and things aren’t going to get better quickly. In fact, Goldman Sachs has estimated that there’ll be a record shortfall of copper over the next decade."

....
Cheers Add, hopefully a raise will not be necessary if like Warren tweeted that the DDs must be coming to an end soon.
Adikt, im sure some of them do respond to private investers, but of the 30000000000 private investers
there are. I hope you dont mind if I find it unbelievable that they spend such an inordinate amount of time
responding to half a dozen posters on here. especially when they only seem to respond when one
of you needs backing up, because your losing the argument, or have found to be lying
Well done Mrprt. If you can hold you won't regret it, although I fear there may be a wobble if all the people who are angry because they lost money vote out the board by tipping the balance from 50 to 49...
RK, you didn't read my second post.
Addickt...it doesn't create further dilution because the shares are already in issue.
Anon, you obviously didn't read my simple maths.
Operational cashflow is c$1m a month.
At 30 September they had $22.9m
By my maths thats 22 months, without the CGP shares being issued.
Eloro, there was a time on here, when we used to have the odd fairy taler.
but as today has again proved, the board is awash with them. mrtit topped up,
you and your daily chat to bob. sharked with the latest of a long line of whoppers.
but what amuses me, is how you all cosily chat to each other.
you, sharked, adikt copperpot, lunch money, when he's about,
never a disagreement amongst you all, its as if you all know each other is telling
lies. so you back each other up on every subject, and if that doesn't work, because
someone fact checks you, wow, low and behold, we play the email card. and wow
again, the email response you get confirms that what youve all been spouting is
actually correct, because scotty, bob or Irwin agree with your every word.
I dont cast doubt on you eloro. ive no doubt, your every post confirms my opinion
Eloro, that's an interesting comment from Sangha. Let's hope we never get to the point of needing to do anything with the shares - other than cancelling them!
Re the AM. He's always pouring scorn on people for contacting the company/Maxit/Irwin as if somehow these people are gods who would never respond to a mere private investor. The fact is they are approachable and are willing to engage. As you suggest, it would be a good idea for the AM to give it a go.
Anon...you're not going to get a DFS, because that is for funding.
SOLG is NOT going to build this mine.
All you will get is a PFS3, with lower costs, earlier production and better, earlier revenues.
It is being prepared for serious buyers who are in the data room.
You basically said nothing has happened in the last year.
It would take 5 minutes to read the extracts from thwe latest MD&A which showed that PLENTY has been going on to derisk Cascabel.
If you can't be bothered to invest any time in reading the info that the Company provides on a regular basis, you shouldn't be buying shares at all.
Add,
From my recent email exchange with Bob, the 157m shares are available to use strategically. I think that this option would be pursued before resorting to a raise at these ridiculous price. I did express my concern to him that a raise now would decimate the SP given that the raise would most likely be done at a discount. So, I believe that he is aware of our concerns as PIs.
NAL:Before you cast doubt on my veracity, Maxit email address is on their website. Even you can send Bob an email and he will reply. Although, I would recommend that you use ChatGpt to compose that email for you. Then again, you composing the email would give him a good laugh when reads it:)
Fort - to put it quite simply, I'm not desperate for the money. I'd prioritise a proper process of marketing the company for sale and delivering a palatable outcome rather than trying to rush a deal through in 2024 but that's just me.
I've been completely consistent on this as well. Selling this project or company with the tailwinds of a commodities bull market is what it's all about and what it has always been about.
The issue with your gold shout is thst gold is reacting off the back of temporary economic concerns. Countries are staving off recession where they can and whilst that provides respite for gold, it's not ideal for a company that has a generational project. Everyone knows it's a relatively short term move. That's why the gold miners have bounced but are hovering in previous ranges - they're not breaking out to new highs are they?
About me being stuck in the headlights - you recently remarked to another poster that you have sold no stock. What does that say about you? Hardly Sprott or Buffet yourself, are you?
Mrtit off course you've just invested 60000 gb pounds.
If you ever come to australia. Look me up. I will give you a tour of my house.
It's called the Sydney Opera house
What's up mate, was you feeling neglected, so made up a little post to get noticed
Someone is very keen with 75k buy first 😀 thing.....not surprising really at just above 9p......speculate to accumulate comes to mind....
GL.
Anon, they can be cancelled believe but in theory, you and and I own a stake in those shares. The 157m shares are owned by shareholders right now. Hence if they were sold to another entity then they are gone... no longer yours or mine and the cash raised will go towards Scotts masterplan to burn through as much cash as possible while seemingly doing nothing and hope no one notices.
All part of the SR apparently. Slow, clumsy and junior style management at it's best.
Bozi... why wait a few years for the copper price to be surging when today the Gold price is surging and look what favours it is doing us? We have 21moz or something like that. Gold near all time highs and hasn't helped SOLG one bit so why would Copper at all time highs help?
You are suffering from the same rabbit in the headlights look you had when you saw trouble ahead in the mid 20's and failed to sell your shares. Instead... you just sat there and took it head on. Perhaps you should revisit your strategy as you clearly haven't done well out of it. Try a different tactic to just 'sitting still like a quivering rabbit'. Open your eyes!
Sorry, that wasn't clear. I don't mean issued, I mean placed with a buyer.
Anon, let's say a deal happens and the shares haven't yet been issued, the company can then cancel the shares thus avoiding dilution. If they are issued when the company is still trading, your point is valid.
Off course you did sharket, off course you did.
But where's the evidence to support, your latest blockbuster.
