Batteries and solar, but I have a small pv set up, the batteries are where the savings are and exporting back to the grid.
Charging at 7.5p/kWh and selling back to the grid at 15 p/kWh
Last year I would charge my EV using solar but there is no lint now when I can get double exporting it.
Firstly the grant, like any government grant is not that easy to access. Too much paperwork and hoops to jump, through.
Secondly people are sceptical, just like you , about the savings.
People who put solar in 15 years ago have been laughing all the way to the bank, those early adopters are now taking up the offers currently available.
I thought 18 months ago this was too good to true, now it has got even better……it’s nuts
In the telegraph today
It has also benefited from growing demand across its green energy generation and EV leasing divisions, which continue to thrive despite increased scrutiny of net zero.
Mr Jackson believes fossil fuel companies are responsible for whipping up a backlash against the transition, as they are fearful of renewables replacing oil and gas.
He said: “I think 2023/24 is the year in which fossil fuel companies have woken up to the very real threat that their businesses now face. Already, electric vehicles are taking 1.5 million barrels of oil off the road every day.
“That’s enough for oil companies to start noticing problems and you are beginning to see some scale back production forecasts.
“As a result, some are trying to foster a backlash against the [net zero] transition. I think some of them are beginning to get very worried about what their future looks like.”
I'm a little confused, I worked for a company selling heat pump systems about four years ago and I don't remember them for earning money from the electricity company. I'm assuming you omitted the fact you run solar to harvest power and run the pumps off that and have a surplus ? Heat pumps certainly do not make electricty.
"A get rich scheme" You sure about that? Because I can assure you it doesn't feel like it.
Damned phone. Apple need to fix this urgently, how big an improvement it would be if it just left valid words alone instead of changing to what it thinks you mean
*about it
*totally unachievable
Liberals like Johnson are famous for being able to understand objectives but not understand systems. That’s what we’re seeing here, a silly utopia that can never happen
Slug, another reply, another admission that you either lied or have genuinely been taken in by an age-old story about cars that run on water. Let's get this one out the way first, then we can start dismantling your other thick AF arguments.
The numbers are nothing like compelling especially if you have to dig up your marble flooring to put pipes in.
15,000 takers out of 21million who have a boiler. Why is that?! Stop and think about for a moment and the penny may finally drop why this idea is totally in achievable
Well done guys for resisting the temptation...
Many more green stripes but at least I don't have to scroll through pages of pointless argument...
Thanks!
No answer, slug? Why are you scared? Will your Teslas that 'run on water' need copper? It's a simple question?
(Sorry everyone else. Owning this clown is just too satisfying. He regularly says total rubbish without evidence, and then goes all 'hard man' with threats of actual fights when he can't back it up. As I say: typical teenage incel with a Clarkson twang)
Honestly 1984, you should invest in a couple of heat pumps, the returns are a joke.
I am investing my £6k savings, from the pumps in the past 12 months, and adding another battery tomorrow, it’s a no brainer.
The sums are compelling.
Actually they aren’t compelling they are a joke. I’m running 3 EVs, heating a 4000 sq ft house, have the ability to cool bedrooms in the summer by reversing the valves on the heat pumps and expect that I will be paid by the energy company to do this…..
The house is much much warmer than a gas boiler, and it’s 90 years old
He’s in way too deep Eloro
This is a ludicrously cheap valuation, but the uncertainty remains surrounding Ecuador.
I believe it's worth the risk and a good buy! Goodbye.
The way you are behaving BBG, I fear that you won't live long enough to see solg sold.
With your expert knowledge, pray tell us when we can expect this company to be sold? You should be able to state a date given that you are an expert on solg 😆
The rats are rattled
You are doing a rubbish job rampers! After a year of über ramping, what has happen to the the SP, it has plunged you Absolute Tool 😆
If someone was actually deramping to get the SP down, they have achieved their objective given the plunging of the SP over the past year. Don't blame posters BBG the pratt, blame the useless, incompetent çeo currently at the helm!
I note that ByronBayGold was advising people to log out - in one of their posts this morning - while continuing to post themselves. What arrogant hypocrisy !
And I also note that they continue to slander me by accusing me of being a paid deramper. Karma BBG, karma ……
For further context, just 15k Willy waving chumps have used the heat pump voucher scheme
15k of 21m!
The parrots are rattled... lots of green filtered posts popping up. You are doing a rubbish job derampers.
Those who still think the net zero bullocks will happen should consider very simple scenarios such as how many of the 21 million households in the U.K. who have a gas boiler are willing to pay £10-20k to be colder?
Tied to that fact is the quite staggering statistic that one in three households in the U.K. has less than £100 in savings
Basic maths tells you this is all pie in the sky BS
I did notice BBG making himself look like the pratt he is on twitter also. Ramping on every social media platform will not change the situation in the here and now where the SP continues to plunge under the extraordinarily incompetent stewardship of Scott The Rocks Caldwell.
A company attracts the type of shareholders it deserves.
The investors (gamblers is closer) on this BB reflects this.
This is a suckers stock, a get rich quick scheme!
As with all those “once in a lifetime” opportunities the retail punters end losing a lot, quite often the lot.
Most people are now just hoping to get their money back.
An investment in the S&P 500 would have returned you 18% a year in the last 5 years, nearly doubling your money. It was actually 100% in the last 4 years.
Most people here are sitting on huge loses and lost opportunity and they hope rather than believe there might be some way out….
Cash call on its way and years more of the same to come.
Will there be copper in Tesla's car that 'runs on water' (sic. - Slug's brain fart, not mine)?
Apologies, on *twitter
I have shared your post on LSE. Goes to show what we are sitting on. Best not to listen to the derampers on this thread who simply want you to coil over and sell up.
Which will refund you £0 given that you don’t hold any shares
