SharketMare what are you on about, Solgold have given an undertaking days after two finance guys were hired to raise 3.2 Billion dollars.
I have just put up a link as requested.
You obviously did not listen to the live announcement.
How we do it nobody knows yet.
But that's the next piece of information we are awaiting.
Try and twist it if you like.
But it was pretty clear.
"Plans to invest" does not equal "plans to raise". Just as when we signed the first IPA with a spending commitment of $430m at Cascabel by end '23 (which we have not met), it didn't mean we planned to raise $430m.
Very different things.
Ok everyone else knows this, but just for SharketMare.
https://www.miningfeeds.com/solgold-tsxsolg-announces-historic-3-2-billion-investment-in-cascabel-project-ecuador/
Can you just point me to where Solgold announced that it's going to raise $3.2bn?
SharketMare what are you on about.
We were discussing this for over a week after the announcement by the Ecuadorian government.
"Recently Solgold has announced that it is raising 3.2 billion to advance Cascabel."
Can you provide a link to this transformational news? I must have missed it.
Very interesting tks DBW - what a beautiful country.
Mather & Solgold deserve full credit for keeping the locals & politicians on side, which as the commentator has stated (not suggested) is critical for a mining company to succeed in Ecuador.
Hi Magoo,
Apologies, only just seen your query. Set of 3 linked tweets from the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Ecuador, translated into English:
1. [TERRITORIAL AGENDA] The Vice Minister of Mines @ADelgadoVM, fulfilled an agenda in the province of Imbabura with the objective of talking with local authorities about the development of mining projects in the area. #ElNuevoEcuador #SomosEstratégicos
2. @ADelgadoVM spoke with him @goberimbabura Juan Echeverría, with whom he addressed the importance of mining development under parameters of environmental respect. The manager of @ENAMIEP @DelauneEmmanuel
and Undersecretary Andrés Cepeda #ElNuevoEcuador
3. Furthermore, within the framework of the visit @ENAMIEP signed a machinery loan contract with the Provincial Government of Imbabura. This action will contribute to the construction of infrastructure that will be of great benefit to citizens.
Although the article does not appear directly relevant to the SOLG/ Alpala situation in the same Province, it does suggest that the Ecuador Government is serious about getting responsible mining underway with minimal delay.
Excellent post Ned, it is incumbent on all of us to leave the planet in as good a state as we possibly can.
As we only borrow it, we don't own it.
Good afternoon Steve, although I have never said production is certain, I have repeatedly said that the evidence shows we proceed towards production.
The same is true today.
Why do I think this?
Recently Solgold has announced that it is raising 3.2 billion to advance Cascabel.
To be fair it was the Ecuadorian government that announced this.
Just a few weeks before we took on two finance guys.
We wouldn't have done that if selling.
We seem to have some other activity on other tenements and we await announcements on what is happening.
The strategic review is open ended, but is progressing, one idiot on here doesn't believe that, but then again he is the most unintelligent poster on here.
So I reckon financing is the announcement we all await.
On a time scale. Still some time to go, as these things require time.
I see DBW posting Irwin tweets.
According to Slug EV's are already a thing of the past as we are going to run our cars on water.
Only he seems a bit reluctant to post the link on the toyota website that shows this.
As Slugs main confident and friend maybe you could post it DBW as apparently it's easy to find.
Or do you think Slug is lying as well.
Afternoon all alot of knowledgeable posters on here unfortunately I'm not one of them although I hold a sizable holding and now with a tiny profit as added in the seven's question and quady who if im honest has turned out to be more right than wrong as others kept saying this would be all done and dusted a few years ago so are we going into production or are selling the assets as I'm totally lost what's going to happen in next 6 months
Irwin tweet re EV’s

Nedk
I have been trying to educate 1984 all year on the benefits of solar, batteries etc but I fear it is a lost cause.
Mind you I am a little bit miffed today as having driven down to London a couple of weeks ago and leaving my car at Heathrow, i had driven over 300 miles and had to use a public charger for the last 20 miles and it cost the same as if I was filing up a diesel. Mind you it was a it quicker and there wasn’t that horrible diesel smell.
Luckily the first 300 miles cost £6 in charging and no ulez charges either so overall it’s a big win for electrification.
If the driver dropping my car off hadn’t been trying to see how quick he could do 0-60 I would probably have made it home….
I can't even think of a reply on your post eloro.
Except to say. I never thought, even this board would stoop so low.
Even worse youve given the likes of novice to jump in,, and make hay, from others tragedy.
Sad for both of you
I am now in my 70,s. Aa a 60s child I remember summers being around 22 which then was very warm. These days some 60 years later the temperature is around 28 to 30 and on rare days even warmer. Personnalyvi have putvin solar panels which has saved the cost of power and bought my wife an electric car which whilst reducing our carbon footprint has saved us money. I am pleased now that I see more electric cars on roads and more solar panels being fitted.
Thankfully there are more people like me around as I try to help my grandchildren with producing less co2.
There will always be deniers. Thankfully the sensible majority in this issue can help even them.
Ned.
Sorry that my post offend you guys,
I think it's a fair question. Folks tend to see the mote in their neighbour's eye, but not the plank in theirs. There were deaths in Ecuador which no one took offence at.
Agreed add, Eloro let’s not swoop to that 2wats level , as for the comments from killjoy they are clearly clueless with regards to the timescales these huge companies work to 10 year forward looking business plans 😉
Eloro, personally, I find that to be in pretty poor taste.
Hi NAL, what is going on in Australia? New of stabbing with people dead, and child injury. I expected that in Ecuador or Mexco, not Australia. Do you think mining companies will be put off investing in Australia because of the news of the violence?
Killjoy. How right you are.
The idiots will spout anything that gives them a bit of comfort
Well 1984 clearly you don’t have any children or grandchildren and far too much money burning a hole in your pocket…
Feels like the nonsense post generators are out in force again this morning earning some coin 🤷♂️
I think I understand how our most unintelligent poster on here is trying to pretend he never said Toyota has a car that runs on water.
He is slowly changing the outlook.
It was me that said water vapour is a by product of a hydrogen cell.
Now that is on Toyota's website.
But that's what I said.
Slug said they had a car that runs on water and they don't.
So sluggy you're not getting away with your fake news.
Very simple post the link on Toyota's website.
You cannot because you are a liar.
If it's easy to find why doesn't DBW post it and prove me wrong.
Even he must know that you are a liar.
I shall shortly be heading to the Lake District for a weekend away, in my Range Rover. I’ll be striving for the least mpg possible by tearing past slow cars and taking scenic routes to get some all important extra unnecessary pollution into the climate
I have a 500 mile range so no need to plan ahead and should i run low, a two minute stop at one of hundreds of petrol stations is all I need
I shall be ordering the biggest steak on the menu this evening. I’ll leave the hotel tv and lights on and air con running just because I can
Yesterday I threw all my bottles, cans and cardboard into the general wheelie bin, as I always do. I recycle nothing
This is how I do my bit for your nutty green fraud☝🏻
