Typical take overs are 1-5% of the in ground value for non-producing mines and 5-10% for producing mines.
Proximity to infrastructure (ports, transport, water and electricity) is good for Alpala and decades of mine life also increases value. 1-5% of the $168bn value equates to a share price of 44p - 223p. IMHO the lower price would trigger counter offers.
C’mon 1984, that’s not true at all.
The Middle East love the propaganda you are promoting and they are lobbying hard to preach to the uneducated but when you have countries like this
https://cleantechnica.com/2024/02/05/evs-at-93-9-share-in-norway-record-high/
Then you know you are losing the battle.
there is a reason the most valuable car company is an EV company in the world, heat pumps will only get better, only dinosaurs will try and argue this
There might be more copper snowman but the demand won’t be as strong as it will be for gold
Net zero is a busted flush; the world won’t need the copper that the eco loons are forecasting because it is starting to dawn on even the common garden idiot that net zero is fiscally as well as practically unachievable
If you look at the total contained metal for all projects, this is more relevant to the Share Price:
12.6MT @ 9,000 = $113.4bn
26.7Moz @ 2000 = $53.4bn
92.2Moz @ 22 = $2.0bn
Total in the ground = c$168bn...
Unreal
Interesting post snowman.
You seem to have forgotten, nothings in play if it can't be economicalaly extracted.
Unless wishful thinking comes into play.
In which case we've got a bucket full of that on here.
If you look at the numbers from the latest presentation:
2.8 MT of Copper @ 9000$/t gives 25.2 billion
7.6 MOz @ 2000$/oz gives 15.2 billion
Also currently the plan is focused on copper recovery as gold recovery is only 72% vs 89% for copper.
So a bit more of a copper play, but the gold is worth heaps as well.
When you look at mining across Ecuador and particularly in the south, Porvenir would fit perfectly in with the budget spend and be superior in many ways to Mirador et al. The only thing I can think of that holds porvenir back is the fact that anyone getting hold of it may well then not be interested in Alpala. Eg.. chinese might just be content with Porvenir.
SOLG has a huge folio of licence blocks and they are costing us a minimum of $6m per year just to rent the blocks or hold them. Over the course of 3 to 5 years, that's $30m ish so not cheap. Rock chip samples and low end exploration work can cost as little as $1m per year. It's not big bucks but it addes serious value to those blocks.
Chinese new year Feb 10th and usually runs for 8 to 10 days.
We might have PFS, strategy update and more coming in next 10 days followed by a Chinese deal. Feb could be or should be a game changing month for SOLG. You wouldn't know it looking at the sp right now lol!
I would also have thought that there would have been some action on our license blocks or Porvenir. Why no earn-in agreement on one or more of them? Or sell some to get some cash to start some exploration again. Is Solgold really waiting for the all or nothing deal?
PFS3 is not going to move the share price. This open ended strategical review is also just smoke and mirrors. I really hope something is going on in the background, but somehow I am sceptical about that too.
You’d have to be blind or stupid not to see that the green cult is unravelling. They’re giving up on heat
Pumps as the government prepares to scrap its absurd boiler tax.
EV sales stagnating and falling the world over as peak stupidity has arrived. Volvo ditching polestar, which itself has shed 80% of its share value as it continues to struggle to sell milk floats
Meanwhile $50bn worth of gold in the ground at cascabel just at the time fiat the world over begins to unravel?
This is unequivocally a gold play
Orth, perhaps the 10 year old child is Scott The Rocks Caldwell grand child 😆
I have arrived at the conclusion that the Cornerstone guys were mad at NM because they too wanted to have their turn at the trough. Now that they have had their turn and the result is continued destruction of the SP. I wouldn't be surprised to hear shortly that another 4M has gone walkies. After all, they have just been given a renewed mandate to continue as before, wiping us out.
Have been watching this forum from a distance.
We have people on here including our most unintelligent poster saying we are a gold play.
We are a copper play.
Just look at the output per kilo of concentrate.
Copper all the way.
Yes we have gold and silver and a nice clean concentrate, but we are mining this for copper.
I wouldn't believe a word RK says. And as for the plea! Pathetic.
Seriously does anyone believe Redknight's trades.
He is a complete fantasist, doesn't even understand the basics.
Don’t forget these posters are in way over their heads and as the share price slowly drops their ramping gets more desperate……….
They really are in the 💩
REDKNIGHT a 70 years + pensioner T trading to claw back his losses…….
Share trading should be regulated to stop clowns 🤡 like REDKNIGHT posting and trading
Red, just be quiet for once ffs
Dont listen to their continued drivel. Log out and wait for the big news to come!!
Solgold is confident as is those close to the action!
INBOUND: Revised PFS + Regional Updates (La Florida/Porvenir) + Smelter / Royalty Deal = Auction
Once again the Board is clogged with green stripes and totally pointless insults and arguments.
What I cant understand is why so many intelligent sensible posters are responding to the idiots and are too lazy to filter them...
Dont you realise that you are giving people like NAI the oxygen they crave...?
There is no other BB or Social Media page that I come across that is remotely as bad as this one.
And it's the sensible people who are just as much to blame.
What is the point in ticking me up when I post these pleas if you do nothing about it.
OK we are al, frustrated at the wait for monetization, but much of the general posting on here is more dispiriting than the Share Price...
PLEASE STOP
I like analogies.. so here we go…
We have a product… we know where it is… but we seem to be unable to prove we can get it to market in a cost effective way. Our production method is complicated and successive management teams have all shown to be out of their depth, lacking the required experience and ability to adequately get the product to market.
So to excuse their failures they repeatedly tell the market they need more time to conduct RnD.
But with the large, healthy annual budget almost spent, (don’t ask on what) we have to raise more money or accept a distressed sale before the administrators are called in.
To conserve what budget they have left, management decided to announce a review of the business. Which at first seemed positive… but later management admitted to the market the review would be eternal, have no end date and that they had also stopped all serious development work on any other products..
The market understandably was not happy.
The situation does indeed seem dire… So to help, we have hired a 10 year old child to lead our marketing division.
PFS3...
Think about it...
PFS2 assumptions:
Copper 3.70 now 3.85 and forecast 6.67 by 2025
Gold 1300 now 2025 and forecast 3000 by 2025
Silver 19.00 now 22.50
The clock is running...tick tock...
Ok The Itilian. I always respect different opinions. But in this case I see it different to you obviously. No problem!

DK, if that's how you think of an investment in SOLG, perhaps you should have invested in a consumer goods type of company. This is a mining exploration company pre-development stage in need of finding its way to development, there is no clarity until the company knows how development will happen, so there is no "what it says on the tin".
Think you have the wrong fella
MR areyou the same poster from Angus? If so I owe you 100 quid from a bet about a year ago. I lost and asked you foir your details to do a transfer, but you never facilitated the payment. I dont like debts , and a bet is a bet .. I am a man of my word so send me your details and \\\\\\\\\\\\i will pay you
DK
I've asked admin to take a look at NH post claiming they pay posters to cause trouble in order drive up traffic for advertising revenue.
Maybe he always sees UFO's too
It was only an anology
