I'm very encouraged, looks a presentation to sell the company not just Cascabel.
Good evening Addicknt.
We don't know if DC was booted for wanting to take Cascabel to production.
Also with other stakeholders coming on board.
Maybe they want to partner with us to take this to production within the terms of PFS3.
I wish that IPA would apply to my investment lol!
I like it.
Regional slides are much improved too - a reminder of the fantastic opportunities.
Plus, importantly:
"Negotiations for investment protection agreement well advanced".
Agreed, this is the best reading presentation yet and better use of charts/graphics too
The only slight disappointment is not ditching that awful phrase “first mover advantage”. It sounds like a tactic at a school disco and doesn’t really sit well with the glacial pace at which solgold operate
Tortoise and the hare more like
I prefer this latest slide deck to the traditional fare. It feels pretty quantitative. Nice, punchy storytelling to my eyes. Almost a sales prospectus.
I certainly didn’t ever mourn the passing of that daft emerging major T Rex.
26% more gold, lovely to see given this is a gold play in the face of the busted flush that is Net Stupid
I guess it depends on the worthiness of the asset in first place. Are all the assets they are intending to divest worth more than $30m? A 10% holding in SOLG with net worth of around $25m right now might not even make their list of assets to review.
It's peanuts at that level. But when you use Franco's 1% royalty for $100m... suddenly in the world of valuations... you get $1bln lol! Of course royalty perpetual streams are a different kettle of fish compared to equity stakes but lets face it... NNM were never going to be sellers with SOLG sub 40p. It makes no sense for them at all. Even if they are not interested... they may as well wait a bid and then look to exit with $200m rather than $20m.
My first ever green box! How deeply satisfying
No need to wonder which knob jockey posted
You're learning, slug! It's slow going, but one step at a time. Well done, poppet.
So many more lessons for you, but let us enjoy the little victories. 👍
Roll on Friday, another day to Top Up
Don’t forget the few hundred unsackable Ecuadorean bum scratchers who we apparently can’t get rid of because we agreed to spend money in Ecuador 🤪🤪🤪
RICH3R - agree, and unfortunately this is what we're left with, with a company with 6 full-time employees!
No investor relations or replies to emails.
I mean, it took them 4+ days to tweet about their own PFS!
DBW I totally agree with you about Scott, finger, pulling, and out lol !
Why does getting news from this company usually if not always feel like getting blood from a stone?
I’ve asked for it for years from this company - more respect for shareholders and shareholder value - please.
Shareholders aren’t just for Christmas (AGM) ;)
RICH3R,
Yep that was mine, its showing price was 6.95, but I paid through Halifax and got them at 6.99, Halifax earning a few more pennies on top of their fees lol
Atb
Mf if that’s your trade at 14:29, at least it IS shown as a buy. Refreshing :)
Atb
Good luck Mathers
DBW,
Good post, like you just mentioned, major shareholders haven’t invested just for fun, either they win it or gain from their investment.
Good price to buy so I’m going to put in my last bit of ISA pennies in, got £8852.00 so here’s hoping we all do well
Atb
Whatever their decision it'll have consequences for us. A sale to the Chinese would ginger things up a bit.
Sid …. Bob and co know how to raise money if and when it’s needed that’s what they do.
The share price could be anything but the main shareholders will have a price they are willing to accept regardless, so offering a few pence would be pointless.
On another subject
Re PFS
including the inferred at Alpala and Tandayama 15m tonnes copper and 36.6 m oz au. 33.6 bn lbs copper. Worth 129.36 bn . 1bn oz silver worth 22bn and 36.6 m oz gold worth 64.05 bn.
Total is $230 bn which at 3.85 copper is 59.74 bn lbs copper equivalent or a massive 131 m oz gold as a gold equivalent. It’s the largest undeveloped deposit in the world . Value it at 3 c/lb - that’s 1.8 bn
Take 30% of dNpv that’s 1.07 bn
Take a 1% royalty that’s $2.4bn.
So Cascabel could be currently reasonably valued between 27 and 80 cents US or 23- 62 p per share on application of acceptable market comparative metrics . The exploration strategy is worth more than that again.
This is why however long it takes this won’t go for peanuts 🥜’s
The other question is why isn’t the market buying like crazy at these levels , the following worries remain
1. Wether there’s an equity issue funding coming
2. Development funding even conditionally
3. Ecuador stability and tenure security, IPA
4. Exploration reinvigoration
5. Lack of communication and news
If Scott was to pull his finger out and address some of these issues they might be surprised how quickly and positively the market reacted .
"I believe this will happen and thus remain invested and investing ."
Good luck, I think you'd be better cutting losses at this point!
I am long and as frustrated as all of you. Question is: as a major would you bid now or just simply wait until there are more permits in the bag and the price drops to one or two penny when the money runs out and they have to raise?
Dittyman.
What about penning a ditty about the share price.
Let me start you.
Down and down we go
How can it have gone so low
Adikt swears, we still have hope
I suspect, he's smoking dope
Dbw in so deep
Almost hear him sob and weep
Bbg, left without a bean
All is left is to Weep and dream
Even rk has seen the light
Nowhere around, he's taken flight
Copperpot is looking for the banker
What a complete and utter fool!!!!!!!
Maybe you can tidy it up or pen a better one dittyman
Newmont have essentially announced they are keeping their interest in Solgold..
Intend to divest six non-core assets including Éléonore, Musselwhite, Porcupine, CC&V, Akyem and Telfer, as well as two non-core projects including Havieron and Coffee.
Solgold they will keep.
