Updated presentation by Scott today...

So heres a couple of interesting things from the official website of Cámara de Minería del Ecuador (Chamber of Mining of Ecuador)
First a brochure for PDAC showing the speaker list, including Scott and Larenas of Newmont https://cme.org.ec/brochure-digital-pdac-2024/
But also, Maria Amparo Alban's (NED at Solgold) X Account (https://twitter.com/alban_mamparo ) is a popup on this page.... https://cme.org.ec/
All this suggests a reassuring network that hibts at future providence for Solgold...
Don’t listen to the nitwit in puse cords who looks into women’s windows with his telescope (evening Quady!)
An MOU is just that. Think of it as planning permission for a big extension on a house you’re trying to sell. It’s a tick in a box that a buyer might like but a commitment to an agreement
Hence the term MOU
Talking of gold Fort ….. a little Blanca update wouldn’t go amiss
Oh I see.
Covgaz it doesn't matter, it's a long term solution.
We currently have power, just we require a lot more.
Ate the plans in? Make that 15 years.
Do these things get built quite quick then? Like within a year or two? FFS , it means nothing , will take 10 years to build the thing.
Bandit, your missing my point, I know Solgold won't spend a penny.
But this is going ahead on the understanding that Solgold will purchase power at a special rate, so in order to build, they must be confident that we can take a large slice of the 200MW.
Otherwise they wouldn't build it.
Quady, an MOU is not an agreement. Commit to what exactly?? SOLG won't spend a penny.
It was probably just a conversation over the blower on how semaica may build a hydroelectric plant, and how SOLG may utilise it if they ever get to producing.
Why would semaica care about whether solg will be sold or not? They want customers, so are simply showcasing what could be for any potential acquirer of SOLG, or indeed SOLG itself.
The RNS in reality means jack all. It does more favours for semaica to get away funding the HE plant than it does for SOLG. No doubt the company is approaching dozens of companies across the region.
This news is worth zero. All pie in the sky, decades into the future talk. Nothing formal or exclusive to SOLG. Yawn. SOLG should focus on having something to power, or getting this sold off to someone who will.
Back to business as usual, watching this fall 5% daily like clockwork.
That's par for the course now BBG - SOLG management have no interest in keeping the PIs/wider market informed.
(Although I do note that PDAC is now shown as an 'upcoming event' on the SOLG website).
Frustrating to not know what Noboa or Scott said. Would have been a great opportunity to announce an improved IPA or highlight a globally-significant Cascabel project.
But given the lack of RNS (or mention of these items in today's RNS), I guess it is more talk and grandstanding than action.
Aye got them thanks...
Its so strange how they did not advertise being at PDAC and or confirm when and what Scott was going to speak
Anyone access the full article ?

Hi Red
A few showing up now
Good grief, not only does Redknight not know what an automatic trade is, he also doesn't understand what an uncrossing trade is.
This doesn't make sense...UT closing at nil gain or loss on the day but no trades since 16.35...that can't be right surely...anybody better placed to see?
I wonder what RNS we will get tomorrow morning ? I have a feeling they will be coming thick and fast from now on.
I feel they have shaken as many cheap nervous holders stock as they are ever going to get...
come on SOLGOLD do the right thing now 😉
And they say this share is no being manipulated.
SOLG most certainly is NOT aligned with PoG or copper pricing.
I reckon we'd be £1 a share now if we were mining make believe chocolate bitcoins
75m shares got rinsed at 6p on Friday, so that's the likely reason assuming there's some 'loose ends' to rinse through.
Volume is up but generally relative to the old 16p+ days if using actual cash sums involved. 10m shares at 6p today not much different to 3.3m shares at 18p not long ago which was the norm.
75m in one day was pretty large regardless of settlement price.
