Yeah I know what Tandayama had for breakfast, that wasn't the question. :)
Thanks z. I didn't think of looking there even though I listened to the interview. Doh!
There is also a report on the pfs in mining journal. I can see headline but not report as behind a pay wall.
Got to start climbing tomorrow I feel, it’s been on a gradual rerating trend since January now that today’s news has sunken in with P.I’s and I.I’s this will start to move back towards the + 40p very swiftly. Long and strong regardless of what bendy5 posts
Read about Tandy, about 3 miles away
Is there a link to recording of the 9.30am interview?
I've been in this since 2.5p, and I don't know a single thing about this alleged Alpala open pittable mineralisation. I guess some of the early cartoons did show colours going fairly shallow. Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
BNC,it's good for sealing binding contracts wink wink !!:)
1% a day till Christmas will do me nicley
Just need 249 more pfs :()
Yes Sharketmare and note how the interviewer reminded DC of his duty to look after the best interests of shareholders
That's the big thing I picked up from the interview as well paymaster...
I think hes here for the big payd.ay
Porvenir PEA back end of 2022..
So the biggest hurdle going fwd towards construction commencing in 2025 and first ore in 2029, is the ESIA [Environmental and Social Impact Assessment].
This will 'impact' both Alpala's open pit and Tandayama's. Both open pits gives the miner (whoever they are) early access to income which will support the main underground mine - reducing costs further. It is interesting/coincidental that the ESIA is to be completed by the end of 2025 because that is when Lasso gets booted out (and he will get voted out if he continues with his lead currently). Lasso is massively pro mining, the next incumbent might not be (IE: Peru/Chile).
The pressure is now on to get the ESIA approved asap which will in turn allow open pit mining and generate income from 2026 instead of 2029.
2029 makes it 16 years from discovery to production. I wonder how many on here will still be chatting in 7 years time!
We need a bid soon because the next SP stimulator will be the PFS addendum by year end.
The DFS has been pushed back (again), so that is miles away.
God forbid this board going back into the doldrums for another 8 months!
Pray and hope someone sees this as the bargain of the century and snaps Alpala up ASAP, for the sake of our sanity.

BNC …. I’m on it …. Accessing proving a little tricky
We’ll get there
Padmaster, I think that might be the clearest indication yet that this company is well and truly up for sale. Or at least Alpala is. No hardline “we’re going to production”, a clear and honest admission that we are open to being taken over.
I’m guessing that having sober types like Keith Marshall in the room warning just how difficult block cave mining can be has helped other come to their senses and realise that going it alone would be fraught with risk.
Let’s hope something reasonable is tabled sooner rather than later.
Only me candlesticks BNC lol!!:):)......and they looking good !:):)
Well must admit I thought we would be about 40P by end of today.
Guess people taking profits.
I have seen the story on we will get an offer, we have been getting broker notes saying we will get an offer for nearly ten years. So I take this one will a pinch of salt as well.
Look forward to the CFP, as I have said for ages, that is what will give the share price a shove in the right direction.
All the best everyone.
Welcome Padmaster and Bnc.
