One thing also very positive to mention is that we only use up a fraction of the resources to achieve all this amazing CF. Is incredible.
There will be a PFS "Addendum" well before the DFS that could deliver up to an extra $800 million with a further up to $1billion to come from the DFS, I.e. a total of $1.8billion more...
I read it as Company year...anyhow..
Porvenir study completed this quarter...
I said this last night.
The big boys had better cough up big time or there's no chance they'll be getting their hands on this lol
DFS in 2023. time for RIO...
RK, as far as I'm aware, January has never been in H2 of a calendar year!
Overall this is absolutely excellent news. Any residual worries that anyone had about it being non-economic can be binned. The narrative provided by the directors is genuinely exciting and this places us at the forefront of global mining developments. I won't deny it, I'm genuinely delighted and we can all breath a sigh of relief. We own something pretty damn important and it's time the market woke up to the fact.
We were hoping for DFS to be earlier but given the excellent RNS are the majors going to wait that long?
Well knowing SOLG, will probably drop in price to 32p No ?
The mine is expected to produce a clean copper-gold-silver concentrate, to be sold to Asian and European smelters as part of a project construction financing package.
So very disappointing .... : o ))
Says DFS H2 CY23 that could be as early as January...
add - apols, it takes me a while to get up and running these days. I'm sure SOLG suggested last year that the DFS was being prepared in tandem with the PFS, so yes, disappointing.
Did like this though - 'The mine is expected to produce a clean copper-gold-silver concentrate, to be sold to Asian and European smelters as part of a project construction financing package.'
This looks superb to me.
A rare , long term, profitable, tier 1 asset which any number of major mining companies would relish.
Gino, can you post the link,mnI cannor see it.
Well done SOLG. Looks from a skim read to be a very solid outcome. Happy enough with that.
That's pre-tax. Honey they've shrunk my mine! But captured a lot of the gold.
It's arrived at long last...gl
The ultimate question is - will this trigger an offer for Cascabel from BHP-NCM? Or maybe for the whole company?
Indeed, Gino. I was being ironic.
One downer: the DFS won't be ready for another year.
add - 'appealing' - I thought stonking!
Cheers Gino....good man.
There's a link on the SOLG site!
