If get rich quick traders can't see a quick buck they sell and move on.
£1.10 by Autumn isn't quick enough for them.
I'm just grateful this company has passed into adulthood with serious, proven credentials today - no more at the mercy of the ego of the CEP with all that paddle our own canoe rubbish, no more pointless talk about going into production ourselves... those were the locust years, and I'm glad they are behind us and we are now sitting pretty with a bit fat target on our backs.
I think you need to be a bit careful about the only selling when Nick sells advice. Nick is a multi millionaire with lots of other assets. Plus he gets a lot of his shares cheap or free. His circumstances are very different to most.
Me too lostagain. I didn't
i took another persons advice I cant remember who it was But the advice I am following is I will sell my ( for me very large holding ) when Nick Mather sells his onwards and upwards He knows
Sorry Novice, I like to use a lot of markekisms
broke novice gave me some great advice on here a number of years ago sell half when we were in the 40s but I took no notice
i am no expert but I did buy at 1.44p and at 45.7p but I have had a very exciting time
Hi Monte, I didn't have you down as someone who had a load of people sitting underwater for years, I'm sure that's illegal ?
And they wonder my people sit underwater for years.
You got to laugh at all these smug people cheekily topping up now, when the SP was around 25p for months lol
no but when cornerstone and irwin started buying through was it maxit capital all the volume started late afternoon different people sleep at different times the buying was always on the LSE the shares were 4.5 p at the time
TSX
We will see if the interest starts after Wall street opens it has always been rising in the afternoons and late in the day when they have chased the price up I have just added a few more
Thanks mr. Market, as I said earlier I will take any opportunity of any weakness ( IMHO....) and add few, managed at 34.10p....hopefully, the next tranche even cheaper when funds are available....:)
BHP own a chunk. Let’s assume they know what they’re doing. They want … quite naturally … to have it as cheap as possible. Everyone sit tight seems entirely sensible. Onwards!
Just topped up again @ 34.33p
so if its sell on news lets have some rumour :-( ridiculous how the mm's have played today
don't always get it right!
All the more for invested believers to buy cheaply. This will rocket .
I agree! This is a typical reaction in a mining stock with a long way still to go! I fear that many investors still just don't get it, about investing in mining stocks. It's usually a long haul!
IMHO, the offer(s) will come, as predicted by one of the most respected mining media publications. It's the old, old story, yet again...how far will the sp drop now, based on a lack of production news, and who has the balls to hold & wait for a possible offer(s).
IMHO. if you snooze you'll lose! An offer, if it comes, will have a major effect on the sp, instantaneously, and, unless you're invested, you're going to miss the big gains. Also, anyway, you'll be lucky to get in anyway, when it happens!
DYOR and all that stuff!
DBW, as you say "our day will cometh" .... and I have the patience in abundance!
Good luck matey.
Your about as useful as a handbrake on a canoe!
Go back to your village.
A lot of the contents in the PFS was already expected and the potential size of the deposit is already largely known. Some very nice deposits there, but this was never going to see a big spike on this report. Spikes and 100%+ day rises only happen on completely unexpected events. Most including myself won't understand half on the report, so will need to have a proper read at the weekend maybe.
It's just another landmark stepping stone on the long long path to fully understanding what they have in the ground and taking this to production. Or perhaps an offer in the next few months...who knows.
Thanks DBW, articles like this should be the start of a positive upwards re-rate in the perception of the company by the market imo. The previous delay in the pfs has undoubtedly been a big drag on the sp but all of that has been blown away today. You can almost feel the potential bidders doing the maths and calculating where to pitch their first bid. I mentioned Elon Musk the other day as a potential bidder and I stick by it. I’ve clearly no idea whether he or his Tesla team are currently researching further sources of copper and gold - very likely imho - or have ever heard of SolGold, but his involvement either as a bidder or investor would bring worldwide awareness of SolGold imv. If anyone has his ear on twitter, please give him on nod in our direction ;)
Agree with others here, this was a v competent presentation and Timmy Mallet has certainly got to grips with a quite in depth knowledge of Alpala / Cascabel in his short tenure to date.
Hope the SP consolidates for a while whilst the dust settles............then moves on up......
Must admit my impression of "trimming the PFS" I thought would be a trim and not a no1 all over - I mean a 5th of the MRE aint eactly a "trim" is it?!? I'm guessing that's what the meerkats have initially reacted to - however thank heavens things were then explained away in the presentation............that this is just the "starter for ten"........
No doubt there will be fun and games in the not too distant future as should interested parties start to show their interests the SP is likely to be pushed n pulled around.............
atvb folks
