Evening BNC, I think some people are just selling after the PFS didn't give them what they wanted.
It will recover.

not sure who the moodswings jibe was directed to - but if it was my way I can assure you (regrettably) I still hold the effin lot.........
truly thought this time we were on our way...........properly..........clearly the market [or at least the manipulated SP that's been slammed in a couple of days] views things differently or at least those that are driving this nonsensical SP would have us believe the market views things.............
fk-in load of bo-ll-ox
Annoyed!

not sure what your point is. someone sells someone is buys. but people are not willing to buy where people want to sell. so price goes down.
1.25 million sold and 975k bought, 13% down, how does this happen?
Ecuador is ranked number one in South America by the latest Fraser report, fwiw.
Good luck to "us." Yeah, nice trick. We know your moodswings match your position,
Yeah, but not hours after. Ffs...
No beating about the bush here Pinot - it an effin disgrace!!! period!!!!
Someone is yanking our chains here and thieving our money which is NOT on!!!!

Oh Zoros... trolls from last decade are reactivated! Maybe you're just over-emotional, I'll cut you some slack. These guys could finance it I think, but so what if it's too big. Then they'll have to sell it to one of the twenty bigdicks who would love to own it. Or take a jv arrangement. Normal.
JG1964 "I am sure that even if Solg found at surface a 1km radius pure sphere of gold or copper, the markets would respond with the fact the find is the wrong shape "
I did chuckle at this as it's almost exactly the same as I posted about 8 years ago on here .
A Solg never changes it's spots.
cheers wave machine.....did you also warn us about the 40p recent spike? enjoy the 8p -10p party though ....sorry to have to give you the heads up but you're a bit late for that party....no need to rsvp
That would be almost 400,000 times more gold than has ever been mined, so the price of gold would drop to about 0.5 cents an ounce.
....I suspect. Though it'll never be proven in this manipulated market.
Feels like some entity is trying their best to run the price down.....yesterday's PFS did not warrant the drop imho.
I am sure that even if Solg found at surface a 1km radius pure sphere of gold or copper, the markets would respond with the fact the find is the wrong shape
On the call I found the new CEo to be very professional -however not as impressed by Ingo, but he appeared handcuffed or restricted with what he could let on
Lunchmoney - good post...agreed.
Only a major can take this to production now the facts are out. But they have now sat back and thought, mmmm, more to do yet before we take over. And so the journey continues.
Life's a bi t ch..........................and then you die ;)

My guess having seen the last couple of days is news tomorrow or Monday with regards to a placing (hopefully at a reasonable level) followed by more drilling news to try and get this moving
But as Z says all guesswork for us PI’s
This stock (with most others....) is primed for using a trading pot.....if you brave (and lucky....)
enough top slice on the many rising occasions and follow up picking those shares back or even more on the many rebounds.....I managed to pick up 2 tranches today + will pick few more if the latest retrace continue....needless to say that my main core holding is left untouched for this ever delayed final pay day....:)
GLA.
You've only got to look back at this weeks posts on here to see how clueless 95% of the posters are on here. That's not a criticism that is an emotionless fact. So many posters really genuinely believe they know what they are talking about...but it remains guesswork at best.
Because we (the posters@Solg) have immersed ourselves in this stock for years, we "think" we know it all. We dissect each 'event' forensically: AGM, term sheets, bids, new CEO, other tenements......and so it goes on. For months and months Solg published the square root of NIL and still posters thought something was brewing in the background.
I include myself in the above.
What we are seeing here, is the market looking at yet another publication by yet another junior explorer (solg is not and never will be a miner) and seeing the following:
Remember this: Solg is professing to go this alone (bar the shouting):
An IRR of <20%. Now if you don't understand this - go do some googling.
Solg has to find $2.5bn for phase 1, let alone the rest.
Nothing is going to happen on the ground for atleast 4 years, possibly longer.
Open pit early cash generators are solely dependent on Ecuador agreeing Solg's ESIA proposals. Ecuador is not yet a user friendly mining domain - Lasso will be gone by beginning of 2025.
This is what the market is reading into what we all think is a good PFS. It might be good..........to us....... but we are extremely biased, are we not?
Yes the mine is long term viable.
Yes the stock is heavily discounted.
Yes the resources are huge.
Yes, yes, yes.
But not now.
In 4 years time, after debt funding, with the approval of the then government.
Then she will fly.....
I think it has been posted recently.....the SP will now flop **** between a mediocre range until a Major decides enough is enough...and swoops.
It is a double edged sword for Solg:
If it openly advertises itself for sale, the bidders will know it can't manage this project on its own and so the bids will be ruthlessly low.
If Solg continues to brag it is going solo - the majors will watch it bleed to death.
That is why we need an experienced CEO to navigate this tortuous route.
Good luck to us all. We are going to need it.
Z
Stackhigh 38% contained metal from Alpala, but not the full Cascabel resource - but agreed is the tastiest slice.
I did warn you! Only joking!!
In two months time you'll be lucky to sell at 10p. I'm guessing it'll be about 8p in the next few months.
Well said damers...
Oh and shippy...just being transparent...averaging down now the uncertainty is out of the way...
If the price returns to 40p I'll be up over £20,000 on this week alone...
And I can wait.
21% of the mineral deposit, closer to 40% of the value.
A really disappointing day - in fact throw away logic if you want to invest and make money as that's how the market seems to work
It appears a good PFS is a waste of time for the market
Assay results do not positively impact the share price as we've seen
All I can think is production could help but that's years away -funding needed to be sorted out 1st but even then everyone will say production is years away and plenty of other expenses on other regional areas in the meantime
Or a bid or some other major taking a reasonable stake
Or news of funding but production is years away so why would the share price react positively to that
Can only conclude M&A activity is what the market wants to see
Any thoughts?
If we're lucky tomorrow we hopefully won't drop below 26p at this rate....
Damers…. Yep
