That wouldn't surprise me at all fruit bat based on the confidence of my contact...
* or maybe Stan was at the laundrette and Mary at the pub :)
Fruitbat - was that from Mary down the local laundrette or Stan down the local pub?
Rich, I really hope so. It would make a refreshing change.
Add, under the previous leadership I’d have totally gone with a Q2 reference to read late June or even July (missed deadline). But new ceo and what seems to be renewed energy & focus on delivering shareholder value in a timely fashion. Maybe Q2 might actually mean mid-May this time? Or even earlier? It’s going to be a very interesting 3 months that’s for sure and how the ongoing ‘game’ will play out between the current players; assuming we really are nearing the end-game this time. Or will there be other players entering the game??
Agreed Addinct, so no point holding anything
Maybe they want to publicise their options before seeing this go too high?
DBW, you're absolutely right, both have their merits. However, I'm really not sure this will be contested and therefore all info will be shared with a bidder during negotiations, so does it matter if it's already in the public domain?
Heard a rumour that PFS will be out earlier than expected and shud be ready for publication in May
What makes more sense
1) to bolster share price pre PFS
2) to hold news back in case bid defence needed
Both have their merits
LM, it seems as if they're being true to their word i.e no more announcements until the PFS is released.
I can guarantee the RNS will pop-up on June 27th...because I'll be holiday at that time.
Keep blowing, huffing & puffing ! might finish above 35p
LM, well, as it stands it most certainly won't be 'Russian state sponsored'. In any event, I don't want to be paid in roubles...not that they can actually buy anything at the moment...apart from North Korean fashion garments.
Lunchmoney - all a bit academic really as unless you hold a massive chunk, as PI's we won't have a say on who's money will be accepted.....
just so you're kept up to date RK I am firmly bid 34.65 for 150,000 ; - p
I'd agree with addicknt here. You shouldn't get emotionally attached to a share, we're purely here to make money, so it doesn't matter who pays the ferryman, we just want the max profit.
I wouldn't. 10p represents a lot of money of money to me. And frankly, I don't give a monkeys who ends up owning this provided they pay a good price.
It's not a question of regarding them as 'my mates', I simply see them as the most obvious party likely to make me a decent return.
CD, one is perfectly legal, the other isn't. And by the way, anything they do to stir-up a bit of excitement is fine by me.
CD, appreciate your example. Have done a little further reading here for those interested:

CD, BHP will not break the law in an attempt to build up stock. They are not some back street outfit run by spivs. Any dealings through related parties has to be declared.
It's a nice idea, but it ain't happening.
Agree with you there SM...
With the exception of Atlantic Lithium....
SM, agreed.
Colonel, I don't buy in to your speculation that BHP are currently buying up stock one bit - through a trading house or not. I'd be interested to see if you have any evidence for this, or could point to an example where this has happened in the past. Very happy to be proven wrong.
On DGR, I think the point being made is that it's currently trading at a discount to its NAV.
Sjn, very true, but Atlantic is a lithium miner, and more importantly, is fully funded to an early production.....:)
Not true RK check out Atlantic Lithium which has been outperforming Solgold of late.
