from what I can see there is a March 15th article in the Mining Journal about SOLG and the headline is: Joint BHP-Newcrest bid for SolGold 'within months'
The smart money is on a joint bid for London-listed SolGold by BHP and Newcrest Mining, as early as June.
Both miners have acquired minority stakes in SolGold which controls the enormous Cascabel copper-gold concession in mining-friendly Ecuador.
......then I need a sub to read the rest. Has anyone read this article in full and got any more background on this? I just doing some poking around to learn more about this stock and this is pretty explosive stuff for me to see - keen to read thoughts.

Warren Irwin suggesting:
“If nuclear bombs go off, there is a risk to your computer and drives because of the electromagnetic pulses, but they should have back up servers”
WTF is he talking about?
Does he honestly believe people are going to be alive…. To worry about accessing their investments online when nuclear war is upon us?
I never thought a’pro’ like Irwin was so ignorant of what to expect of Europe erupts into nuclear war!
It’sa delayed April 1st spoof surely?

LegOfLamb, tread carefully, you may get "baa..red" if you overstep the mark! Keep it clean matey, you're a good asset to the board when you do!
I would recommend anyone entering now hedge their bets. Probably wise to not go all in now.
If the rise proves warranted and we get fireworks - you make money. If it's another false dawn (and there has been many), you can average in more capital at lower prices.
Yes I agree. However I am where I am and am hopeful of some seriously good gains still.
About 5 weeks ago might have been better
Ok great maybe I come just at the right time here
PFS on Alpala in Q2. Many here hope for corporate action that is rumored to follow.
Updates on Porvanir and Rio Amarillo could also prove catalysts.
PFS on Monday Bubble? LOL!
I am new to this stock, Im a bit late to the party - could anyone please let me know simply when can we actually expect the catalyst for SOLG which is the completion of the Alpala PFS? What are we expecting in terms of share price potential? Market cap already quite high - where are we going from here over the next 6 months on todays share price?
