Red,theres a possibilty that a joint venture may happen aswell
Todays lift is certainly a nice surprise considering wider markets
And my point was not directly aimed at you Red.. apologies if it seemed it was.
I think I was just shouting at the world and it’s obsession with identity politics
Helipuerto seems to early in the game, but could turn out to be a Tier 1
As I say an IPO for Greenock Resources (which includes Porvenir, Chillanes, Cuisine Loja, Timbara and Sharug) seems propitious...
But an IPO can take months to prepare. The one that I directed took 14 months.
It does have the benefit that SOLG can retain a stake (say 85%); they raise money; it would enhance the SOLG share price; and allows them to focus on Alpala...
What's your hunch on the path for Solgold from here following the appointment Red?
Come on Orthern....I don't need a pat on the back...I was responding to posts by medar and FB (the latter was removed by admin).
I don't care who they are, anyone should be appointed and judged on merit.
Given the state of US markets and despite FTSE Industrial Metals being up 3.6%, SOLG is up 7.8% so the market clearly likes her appointment...on merit...
No it cannot Red - following recent comments from Andy Taunton, the sale of Porvenir or Helipuerto seems most likely?
I don’t understand why the CFOs genitalia is relevant… are they the best person for the job? That is all that matters… If they are, then great..
let’s not not give extra praise, protection or points for her being a woman.. that in itself is not any achievement…. it’s just patronising, and done generally by people wanting to very publicly, give themselves a pat on the back.. for bringing the issue up..
Nice "little" correction so far today.....:)
Btw,our savvy trader announced this morning after today news he will wait for 22p.....unless of course he will admit to pay at yesterday recent bottom....:)
She doesn't start until June 27.
Surely a fund raise can't wait for her...?
But I've just read your latest post...you're walking a fine line...
Why don't you read the cased details....I can assure you, women get far more grief from men than men do and they earn an average of 15.4% less than men on a normalised basis (up from 14.9%)

8 women CEOs in the FTSE100
16 in the FTSE350.
And in Australia, 18 women CEOs in the top 300
15 women CFOs in ASX300
Nice to see the market is reacting positively to the appointment of Ayten Saridas.
She is going to have a busy autumn agreeing the finer details of the £3b sale of Cascabel sale to BHP ;-)
OK FurryB...on receipt of information from one of the good guys on here, I've reduced your red card to a yellow.
Unfiltered.
Best wishes
*Wouldn't be surprised !!!
I'm as fully loaded as I want here DBW, I don't take much notice of the clickbait generation, who have turned up here recently, Would be surprised to see this get back over 30p in the next few sessions :)
Novice….. I bought more earlier, looks way oversold
RK, you forgot to tell us how many shares you've bought today...
I am not sure what I think of this appointment. Absolutely nothing to do with being a woman (for the record I have always been in favour of right person for job regardless of sex, race, creed etc, and therefore not in favour of quotas), more the timing if there was to be a sale.
Of course some might find it convenient in that she has a lawsuit pending which might put some off. If Solgold needed a short term appointment it might suit both parties?
Not sure it answers any questions and maybe doesn’t pose any either…
US CPI 8.3% "hotter than expected..."
US Treasury Yield Curve from 3 year to 10 year is virtually flat....
Does NOT augur well...
Dollar sharply up but eventually that will settle back.
US Equities being panned
Dow, S&P, Nasdaq and Russell fallen through key support levels...
Bitcoin has crashed through support at c31,600...
Now down over 8% in just 21 minutes to 29,100
There is no inherent value in Bitcoin, unlike gold, except the confidence of investors...
Cryptos heading for a bloodbath for ordinary people at a time when inflation is soaring and smashing both their net earnings and their net assets...
When the next shoe falls...house prices....the US is truly in the mire...
US Bonds have already had their worst year ever...
Shock figure from US...YOY Average REAL wages FELL 3.4%...
It'll get worse before it gets better...we're deffo headed for stagflation...
Eventually fund managers and investors will realise that commodities are the only place to be...not equities, not bonds not property...
Libretto....I am also a huge fan of Ingo.
He was performing a very specific role while Priy Jayasuriya was CFO and is reverting to that very specific role.
It has been a major aberration that Solgold has not had a CFO for 18 months.
Now they have a highly competent one with directly relevant experience who led the largest IPO in Oz very recently.
Their roles very definitely complement each other.
SOLG will have to raise 85% of $2.7bn from equity investors, lenders, etc. Ingo had already developed relationships with these people before adding g Interim CFO to his responsibilities.
He will have made some immensely useful contacts and relationships in London, Europe and North America. Ayten brings a strong Oz component to augment that.
For future fundraising and especially the big one if we get that far, Darryl. Ayten and Ingo will be fronting up as a team.
In the meantime, both Ingo and Darryl are developing and augmenting relationships with North American investors.
Ayten has a key role to play in all this, not just keeping the books.
Totally unacceptable sexist comment...I was just waiting for some lame brained poster to make a comment like this.
Sorry mate you were doing well. Now filtered.
Eyesblue yes good sign
Pad a good acquisition indeed now let's get this sold or financed
Libretto - I think it may have something to do with the fact that SolGold has largely built it's business in London and the next geography of interest is North America.
Ingo also has irons in other fires so to speak and has been flat out the last couple of years whilst seconded into the role.
Maybe it's time for him to settle back into his previous role and let Ms Salidas take the lead?
Having the backing of BHP and Newcrest, I wonder if she is being lined up for their team after a successful joint bid?
