Tsx ?? Is it frozen lol!!:):)no movement at all
Well those after the bell trades are certainly saying something big is about to happen imho see you all at 7am gla onwards and upwards solgers
I agree that's an awful lot of after hour trades.
I for one will looking at my in box @ 06.59 tomorrow morning.
Best of luck all.
Hi Red
Two more trades since ….. business as usual my arse
This is nuts
Every website I look at including the London Stock Exchange is showing c 7m shares traded, but there's 9.415m traded after hours...
Transparent markets my a**e...
Lunch
Whatever anyone says to trade 9.415m shares (inc the UT) after hours is not business as usual.
And love or hate the slug he certainly had a better understanding of these things than most ( including myself ) on here
LunchMoney I wasn't accusing you of being emotional, I referred to people in general.
Yes little volume, but U/C trades are of little significance.
What may be interesting is if they are not matched and they remain as live trades.
Then we may see some movement when sets restarts as they need to be settled.
Our nasty poster wasn't telling us anything we should all understand as investors .
LunchMoney I have no idea why people get emotional about uncrossing trades.
It is just that, an uncrossing trade.
Buys and sells are matched and depending on wherever there are more sells or buys a price is agreed. It's the auction period.
The bit that might interest us is that any orders not uncrossed remain as a live trade .
I doubt anyone on here takes part in DMA but if you want to take part in uncrossing trades, you can do this though DMA or through your broker.
So in summary it's just a matching of buys and sells.
Really don't know myself tbh not seen this type of late trading for a long time am not guessing but agree LunchMoney maybe an RNS before long break as we will be into June which has been mentioned the month of a takeover let's see
what is it telling us Bar it is unusual We are having some strange dealings
Ooh Big trade there after bell ....intresting
6 million Mmmmm
Tells us what?
111 trade .....
Buys starting to come in a bit now ,wonder if we get the after Hours trades again
Let's hope so DWB.
Another thing I've been pondering is whether BHP/NCM have asked for the EGM in light of the financial misconduct revelations. Appreciate that SOLG has dealt with that properly - bringing in an auditor and finding no more evidence of wrongdoing - but any stick the majors can use to beat the current BoD will likely be used.
The corporate governance story has been rumbling on for some time. I'm hoping that the June EGM won't be the latest chapter in that saga, and that instead we're going to be presented with a substantial update on how the company intends to progress its core asset, whether that be through corporate action or financing. Time to show your hand, Darryl.
Eish ….
They know they can’t come up with their share and we all know they want to exit with a good profit….so for them to be content now tells it’s own story
Yes, DBW. Not a peep from the CGP crowd. Wonder if they are nervous or content with their situation? Because if that DFS arrives the bill is going to be a Big one, LOL! Warren Irvine has got to squeek something at some point soon!
Do your own leg work and prove Bubble wrong if you think you can you lazy g*t, he owe’s you nothing!
"our time must be coming soon" ..... Eish I've been thinking that for some time now ..... I guess it has to happen eventually ...... The CGP stuff was interesting, no money, big commitments around the corner and not a peep from a seemingly content Warren Irwin ....????
Great interview, Devonscape. Thank you!
Seems to me we are already behind the curve in terms of Copper Production. A crisis in copper availability in the making!
Makes Solgold and Alpala all that more important in terms of strategic importance.
We are so, so grossly undervalued. Our time must be coming soon........
Morning rcgl2. Their has been a skills shortage in engineering since the 1980's. One of the reasons I went into engineering.
When it comes to civil engineering, companies are looking for large projects, and if they don't have all the skill sets required, they then buy that part in. It's been that way always.
rcgl, indeed. It exposes the myth that we can simply "buy these things in". We must let this be someone else's problem.
Addicknt yes that's very true can't see it being bad though as we've had constant after hour big buys for a long time so if it is indeed a big conglomerate then they'll have a decent holding by now over the threshold maybe let's see
