And a drop of 5%
Shows just how the market can react to such pitiful volume.
I have to say the gyrations and swings both up and down is unusual for Solg.
As posters keep repeating there is activity going on behind very very locked and leakproof doors.
would anyone like to have a guess where the copper price will settle.... the recent drop is now reflecting the coming global recession, but will it drop back below $3?... not great timing for anyone expecting top dollar in any possible near term buyout.
This is something with which I've always agreed with Quady; a low volume leads to a decline in the sp, as we're seeing today.
My mistake, 2015 dam burst
Hamoperator,
That was in 2019, there is good coverage on YouTube showing the devastation it caused. That is why BHP has to be squeaky clean from now on, Solgold is squeaky clean, what a good buy it would be.
Atb
BHP sought, and lost its case, to block a law suit taken against it over the Brazil dam burst disaster seven years ago, exposing it to the liability noted by Hamoperator. The situation BHP now finds itself in could indeed contribute to a re-assessment of its other commitments and potential investments.
See this summary of the case: https://www.mining.com/bhp-loses-appeal-to-multibillion-lawsuit-over-samarco-disaster/?utm_source=Daily_Digest&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MNG-DIGESTS&utm_content=bhp-loses-appeal-to-multibillion-lawsuit-over-samarco-disaster.
I read last week that BHP are facing the biggest law case ever costing them 5billion dollars being presented by the Brazilian govt and the suvivors of the mine disaster flooding if they lose.Maybe this could have something to do with it.
Morning all.
2023 could be a much better year for the sp, hopefully it's north of the current mc.
Have a nice day.
:)

BHP clears the deck in order to allow them to concentrate on the real prize!
But they seem to drill damn quick compared to Solgold
July 11, 2022
Drilling Highlights:
TARQ4D – 0.32% copper equivalent over 218 metres from surface
TARQ10D – 0.18% copper equivalent over 72 metres from 72 metres down hole
Vancouver, British Columbia – Luminex Resources Corp. (TSXV: LR) (OTCQX: LUMIF) (the “Company” or “Luminex”) would like to provide an update on its Tarqui project, where BHP Group Limited (“BHP”) has completed its Phase 2 drill program that commenced in late 2021, pursuant to a July 2019 earn-in and joint venture agreement. BHP completed the current drill program in June 2022 and has received assays from seven of ten holes. Drilling at the project has now totaled 6,862 metres, over thirteen drill holes between the Phase 1 and Phase 2 programs.
BHP has formally notified Luminex that it will not be continuing with the earn-in at Tarqui and will begin the process of transitioning the operatorship back to Luminex, with expected completion in Q4 2022. Luminex will review all of the project data and work completed to date and evaluate next steps for the Tarqui project.

Yes, I mean I don't really care too much or notice what you post any more Z...
I'm sure the feeling is reciprocal
ONWARDS & UPWARDS
Lunch money, oh well just goes to show how much interest I’ve lost in Solg, then!
It must have been pretty mediocre…….
Z
The webcast is an oldie because DC states the PFS will be ON TRACK for Q2 this year……. And look what we have here: another white lie at the time!
The other dodgy comment is that he states they should have no issues with machinery and trucks going forward because cascabel is a deep mine. Really?
What about the open pit starter mine at alpaca possibly and T Americas- definitely?
Gonna. Need trucks there Darryl, you little tinker!
Z
Volume suggests no bid in sight..
Enjoying the weather.
