Jerry I am afraid you have printed a self world view. You ignore the fact that Solgold are proceeding to raise funds for Alpala.
Practically all drilling stopped to advance Alpala and funding being sought for Alpala.
If none of the above was true you may have a point. But as it stands, what you say makes no sense.
Great hols thanks Damers...2 weeks in Crete; 12 night cruise of the Scottish Islands and 17 days in France..mainly Chardonnay/Lugny (Macon Lugny being our favourite from Majestic)...
Then 3 days in Cumbria golfing and 3 days similar in Rutland...exhausted...
So why was Darryl doing the grand tour of investors and institutions with Ingo for weeks after his arrival...?
After a couple of somewhat flippant comments, I will put forward my serious opinion.
Ingo has left because he would have been instrumental in sorting the funding for the Quady option -mining. That he has gone suggests to me that at the least this will be handled out of the world financial capital that is Brisbane, or (the most likely) that they dont need any financing for going mining, cos there is another solution imminent.
Lisa definitely appears to have been fired. Relative junior, no job to go to and a specific nice thing to say about her close colleagues, and specifically nothing nice to say about other colleagues.
There appears to be a clear out happening.....
Pray Jayasuriya's departure was RNSd...
Ayten had no formal role between August 2020 and June 2022...
She was appointed on 11 May...plenty of time to work informally with Ingo and I can assure you they have a good relationship...
Ingo has 187 positive reactions on Linked In so far, including several serious heavy hitters plus a Director of Boliden and Lisa Park... but, nobody else from Solgold...
42 personal comments so far, including Willem Middelkoop...
But WHY have Solgold not issued an RNS yet?

"After three years in Gladstone, I am delighted to share that we are moving back to Brisbane where I will start a new role as General Counsel and Company Secretary at SolGold Plc. Exciting times ahead!"
Morning Red.
Hope u had good hols.
Ingo - there would have been an RNS thanking him for efforts during tenure if not. I am not going to speculate as to why as there could been a multitude of reasons.
Damers.
Ingo or Lisa Damers?
Where is your evidence...
However, an interesting comment from Lisa in response to a well-wisher's comments on LinkedIn...
"All the best in whatever the future holds Lisa...
Thank you Peter - I have certainly been surprised in recent times!...
And
Onto the next challenge, after I take some time to catch my breath!"
Definitely an acrimonious departure.
Maybe it all comes down to the missing money. Not that he had his fingers in the till but that he should have picked up on it earlier.
"When a significant employee at any level in an organisation gives notice of resignation, employers have to make important decisions about how to manage the employee's exit and, in doing so, protect their business' interests.
One option is to place the employee on leave with pay during the notice period (also known as "gardening leave"). This can be a useful strategy because it prevents the employee from taking up employment with a competitor during that period, and also maintains the employee's fundamental obligations of loyalty and fidelity."
SM, I can only assume he wouldn't have left of his own choice if there was something going on which would have been of financial benefit to him.
Similarly, the company wouldn't have got rid of him if they currently need his skills.
Conclusion: he doesn't stand to make any money in the short term and the company no longer has a need for his skills.
I remain baffled!
Thank you SharketMare, I have now read it.
Puzzled by some of the responses to the story.
Looks to me that he was offered employment, but didn't want to move, so has given notice, hence the September leaving date. ( Notice period )
It's a pity, but dare say we will know more before September.
Lisa describes her time at SOLG as:
"Member of team that delivered the PFS and first mine reserve NI43-101 for the Cascabel Project."
Hmm.
addicknt, I agree. Another person leaving SOLG - admittedly not as high profile as Ingo.. but interesting nonetheless. Another one to have left and be looking for new opportunities, too.

Why would they have dropped?
SM, I think there's something very strange about this and indicates that something else has happened/is going on. It seems very odd to leave a job of such significance when the skills for which he was employed are currently necessary. Additionally, if he were part of whatever it is that's happening in the background, it would be a considerable feather in his cv cap.
I'm baffled.
Can any identify what we know Ingo contributed during his tenure? It is hard to be sure as SG provide so little information I know. With regard to his exit my hunch is that this is not entirely amicable if at all, hence why it was announced by Ingo on his LinkedIn page and not by a concerted statement or RNS from SG. SG should have taken the initiative and controlled the news in some way shape or form.
To some of the discussion below. In Ingo's post he says: "I am actively exploring opportunities to take me forward to something new and exciting."
He hasn't got a job lined up. He has either been made redundant or he's walked.
Here you go Quady: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-6957273837558239232-Isxv?utm_source=linkedin_share&utm_medium=member_desktop_web
Could someone publish the link or story that Ingo is going.
Thank you.
If "Ingo" was close to the 'hub' so to speak @ Solg, he would definitely know where the company was going.
And yet Ingo's 'mate': RedKnight (who was someone he communicated with), hasn't a clue about any of it. How strange is that, one asks.......
With so much money invested in this stock RK, you would definitely be looking for any leads as to where Solg is going and it would show in how and what you write.
But your 'mate' has told you the square root of FO, hasn't he. Great mate eh?
Z
Red thats a easy one to many

ET...how man years have we been "on the cusp of great things..."?
