ChinRest nice entry multibagger from here imho gl.
Lot of big buys at close intresting .....
Red ,no i don't I would prefer a takeover for all of solgold assets rather than wait till I can afford to retire imho ,it won't happen if NM has his way and lives up to his promise to reward all shareholders
RK, oh, definitely, that's always been my preference!
Actually, I will say one thing in agreement with Q&Co, they are probably right to say that over a 15/20 year period shareholders may well be better off if it went to production. However, this takes no account of risk and the fact that many of us will be pushing up daisies by then, including Mr Mather, who in any event looks as if he's about to blow a gasket at any moment.
Copperpot.
The reason these forums / bulletin boards exist is for the subscriber to indulge in debate and yes, speculate on whatever the chosen subject is.
To suggest that folk should not speculate is ridiculous.
We have folk on this BB who are completely intolerant of individuals opinions regarding political, social & gender issues - now those who speculate are on the black list?
Freedom of speech is being eroded before our eyes – Cineworld yesterday for example.
So you want it to go to construction then...
;-)...
As a separate issue on a funding package, the fees involved will be vast. Commitment and arrangements fees could account for 2/3% of the total, as will the advisory fees. Then add the compounding effect of the interest roll-up over a five year period and you get some idea of just how much is involved. And bear in mind we already have circa $10m accrued interest sitting on our balance sheet.
Getting ahead of oneself is not the way forward, wait for hard facts!
Hardly impatient... the sp is exactly where it was 5 years ago and we are still here, keeping the faith. You can't blame us for getting a little bit ahead of ourselves, particularly now.
Novice it keeps them mindset or they end up with dementia imho dont see them on here only green posts nowadays makes a great board imho ,we looking close to some movement this month imho agreements and off takes will see this through to an offer imho
RK, in fairness we dont know how much Solg need to raise? In fact we have no idea! All we have here is wild speculation! 1 Billion has been pledged from FN, (if we take that route)? Open pit throws up another conundrum? We don't know what we need until the company tells us what sum is needed! Do folk not have the patience to wait for the company to tell us the sum required? There's too many experts here throwing sums of money round as though those figures are fact! I've never known a group of investors that are so impatient. Until you see the figures in the form of a RNS from the company, I suggest you ignore all the wild speculation from the armchair experts here. Nobody has a clue until the company tells us.........fact!
RK, convertibles have a nasty habit of acting as a brake on the sp for the simple reason the market is never quite sure if they will be exercised. However, you hit the nail on the head...how do you fund a project of this size in the absence of any income?
I know people loathe any comparison with SXX, but there's no denying the exercise is instructive. BCN is another case in point, but at least they managed to return something to shareholders.
Lunch...
SOLG needs to raise $2.7Bn...
Which would you rather...convertibles or equity...?
How else are you going to raise the money...?
Streaming...straight debt...of course they may be components, but you're still going to need a rump of equity and I would rather it be in Convertibles....avoids immediate dilution...

2 hours of trading...224k shares traded...price edging up...
Monte yes lets hope so finally !!!:)
I've reported your post by the way, I think it was one of the most disgusting uses of a real life tragedy to try to score a meaningless point on an LSE board I have ever seen. You really have no place here. It's time for you to stop trolling and go, you really are a pathetic specimen of a human being.
Maybe; if the blockers are gone, and it was being played. We now get a truer reflection of what the Sp should be?
Buddy blow it out your ass. That was a cheap shot, even for you. Absolutely shameless.
35p close today...
to HL, there have been 14,634 shares traded this morning and yet the sp has just breached 34p. Weird, innit?
