Ray Ray did I touch a nerve? Did you get my posts removed little angry bunny?
Did you see workers at Chile’s Escondida copper mine threaten to strike? What you think it will do to the copper price Ray?
Yes CT, someone else who likes to flatter themselves far too much, thinking that they are someone more important and righteous than others who post and that others are genuinely interested in what the have to say... ; ))
I'll leave it at that Lolzzz
Truss has set the agenda in her speech, Britain to become self reliant in years to come. Copper needed big time, Germany announcing wind farms, France looking to boost their power sources, all in all, copper is at the heart of all this
These new measures for green energy by many countries will see Ecuador and the likes start to become extremely important imo, BOD’s need to capitalise on what Solgold have start more wheels in motion, hopefully Nick can kick a few in the goolies to get things started

I don't think it is suspended I appear to be able to set up a buy
I never ramp or deramp. What's the point with 1/2000 of the shares...
I state opinions on the current state of play. I am transparent with our dealings as d the reasons why so people know what I'm doing.
And actually if youd followed what I did rather than sitting on your hands as many do, you would have made or saved money and had an average below 22p.
Is it just sour grapes that makes you post that, when I input a huge amount of research and relevant information on here?
Redknight deramping a few weeks ago posting only negative content because he sold his shares, now he has bought back in it's ridiculous how everything little thing must indicate there is a bid coming.
So many here get criticized here for the same thing but somehow Red gets away with it.
This place is so much better when he doesn't post!!!!
Has this been suspended?
Where is the evidence that they both vote the same way, other than supposition?
As you know SM I respect your opinions but dont fall into the trap of presenting opinions and assumptions as facts.
Leave that to Quady...
Cheers
2.1/2 hours trading...12 trades totalling 180k...somethings afoot...
It's difficult to know the level of cooperation, if any at all. But they both tend to vote the same way at the AGM, implying the direction they want to pull the company in is similar, and opposed to Nick etc.
I agree with your last point completely - Nick is the hope PIs have here.
A couple of rags, not tags, or even bobtails...
Where has it ever been actually stated that BHP and NCM are working together, other than in a couple of tags?
Its assumed, but after the streaming deal they embarked on different paths. Biswas stated that they would hold SOLG shares as a strategic investment. If they planned to work in a strategic partnership with either SOLG or BHP to develop Cascabel, wouldn't they have kept their seat in the Board.
To my knowledge, neither Twigger nor Berry Street have ever 'called out' Newcrest, whereas both have criticised BHP publicly more than once.
I regard NCMs holding as a positive because they will demand a fair price for their holding. My guess has been a minimum of 75p.
If NCM and BHP were to jointly low ball SOLG so that BHP could end up owning it, it would bely NCMs apparent strategy.
And before you say Newcrest has the block caving capability, so do BHP.
I cannot possibly see NM and co letting us go cheap and they have the firepower to thwart BHP, maybe by supporting a counterbid from e.g. Sumitomo or Jinxiang...
And if Darryl is scared of the big shareholders for his job who is he effectively working for ?
Not the majority.
Something has got to give to break the stalemate SOLG has been in for at least two years, at times it's been almost open warfare between the BOD and BHP et al.
redknight, it's not just one company as you well know, it's two companies, with similar sized stakes - so more like 27%. The reason Darryl isn't standing up to them - in my opinion - is because the AGM is approaching and he'll be all to aware what happened to the last CEO who went against the wishes of his two largest shareholders.
e.g. if he'd gone through with the cashbox - if that is indeed how the $50m was going to be raised, you can be fairly sure (from Sandeep B's comments) that BHP and NCM would have been voting him out and lobbying other shareholders to get rid of him, too. Not a great look for Darryl to be forced to resign a year into his new gig.
It's a precarious balancing act. The make up of the shareholder register is at the moment stopping the company from making meaningful progress, to the detriment of all of us shareholders.
“That doesn’t suit the rampers on here but there is nothing that hasn’t happened over the past 12 months that indicates anything else will happen”
Tesla there never is until it happens
I think we’ll be ok , I always have despite the boards best efforts to **** it up ….. call that ramping if you want …… does that make you a deramper/ troll
Or just someone with a different opinion
Best wishes DBW
How can one company call the shots with only 13.7% of the shares...Mather and co have much more than that...and do you think BlackRock, CGP and Norges would let them ?
5 trades in the first 90 minutes and 140k volume.is there a suspension coming with news of a bid approach...?.
You’ve hit the nail on the head, the board are in an extremely difficult situation and they will probably be gone at the AGM.
Despite all the allusion of the board having plenty up their sleeve to produce a rosy scenario for the constant rampers, on here, history actually provides the insight that Mather and al will all be kicked off the board and that leaves one company calling the shots……..
Mather got greedy and he will pay the price eventually……
That doesn’t suit the rampers on here but there is nothing that hasn’t happened over the past 12 months that indicates anything else will happen………
DBW, agree and quite confident that a 'move' will be made even if it's a 'Mather' Consortium offering a low ball. If BHP decide to step aside, then Mather and his consortium walk away with it on the cheap. Mather can trigger this when he likes and in effect should be win win. Lets face it, we've been playing cat and mouse for the last 2 years+ so the likes of the advisors in Citi et al will have plan A, B, C and D. But I'm pretty sure the AGM is a lottery in terms of predictions. Doing a deal with NCM and BHP might be a way to save the BoD's necks but they still face the chance of having over 50%+ vote them out.
I can hear BHP on the phone now... look Nick... do this deal with us now and we'll vote you in at the AGM and give you couple of years to explore rest of folio. Sound good?
That's my only worry. BoD's do a deal to save their own bacon. That kind of thing never ends well imho.
Fort
Time is not on their side and they’ll know they face the chop ….. whatever cards they have up their sleeves ( and I’m confident they have plenty ) they’ll need to start playing them fairly soon
Either the mm's are having a day off or someone somewhere knows something is coming as they don't appear to want any pi trading this morning. Spread wider than usual and no one is jostling for position on the book.
AGM nears with every day and unless they deliver a minor dilutive scenario combined with some great news... the lot of them are in for the chop. Worth noting that many of the 'old school' have already fallen.
You're completely wrong Quady, the ticks mean nothing other than posters here disagree with your view of the outcome here, try not to flatter yourself too much, thinking that you are someone more important and righteous than someone else...
Jezzoo the ticks mean they agree with Covgas views on women Rac.ism and extreme far right politics. He supports Slug fully.
They don't like me standing up to them.
It just shows we have some very unsavoury people here.
Copper futures up 0.8% at the moment
