I have been thinking about the recent fund raise which was pulled ( or failed) depending on your point of view and one scenario I feel worth considering is one where Solg tried to get away another Royalty deal (along with a limited equity raise for the regionals) but the royalty element provoked a response from BHP who decided enough was enough and put in a bid either for the whole company or a JV? Either way in such a scenario the proposed fund raise would have to be halted whilst due diligence was carried out and under such circumstances their would be a news blackout which is pretty much precisely what we currently have! Pure conjecture I accept but it would explain a lot of things which don’t seem quite right at the moment. Any views anyone?
Germany to provide Leopard tanks to Ukraine according to its Foreign Minister Kuleba....Source: Ukrinform
OK back to reporting...
Orthen - formidable Ukrainian forces when equiped properly with Himars etc. Ukrainian troops entering Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast . Source : The New Voice of Ukraine
It’s going to be very interesting to see how they react to this total humiliation of their supposed military might on he global stage…
it’s effectively over for them.. the amount of equipment that’s been destroyed over the last 6 months, the amount now being abandoned as they flee, the number of surrenders… even if Russia could regroup somewhere , they are just a husk of an army now.. there can be no return…. it’s over, just a question of how quickly it can be wrapped up.
Ukraine been wanting to join nato for years…. NATO should be begging them to join us now… what an epic performance by those guys!!!
I'm not doing anything for you and to be honest don't care what you do, just saying I'm not reporting you anymore. Leave it as that.
Slava Ukraini
There are reports of Ukrainian army near the Donetsk airport!!! I hope this is true… if it is, it’s looking like it’s one of the largest front collapses in military history.. let’s hope Putin is shown his way out of a 10th floor window by one of his own
Ukrainian forces now on oustskirts of Lyman in Donetsk Oblast
No point trashing the poly board I've given up reporting you and just use the filter option to ignore certain posters who caused the problem from the outset.
Escondida miners striking......copper price going up especially when indefinite strike starts soon
The speed of developments has been truly astonishing over he last 48 hrs
To get a good understanding of what is actually happening you can follow a few sources
https://wartranslated.com/day-198-september-9-summary-of-arestovych-and-feygin-daily-broadcast/ This site has been dedicated to translating Russian and Ukrainian news and media throughout.
https://m.dailykos.com/stories/2022/9/9/2121902/-Ukraine-Invasion-Day-199-possible-encirclement-ahead-fight-flight-and-give-up-materiel-again

And this site gives constant updates and translations of telegram posts of people on the ground and again Russian and Ukrainian sources
I haven't seen that reported Ortherncopper.
Good news I hope, I also hope Putin doesn't retaliate with more devastating firepower.
Still testing times.
Agreed Ortherncopper, a good story.
Orthencopoer, excellent news
With the incredible speed of developments in Ukraine over the last 48 hrs, Russia getting absolutely smashed, troops retreating, fleeing en masse, abandoning equipment to race away I’m expecting a nice lift on the markets…. If the mainstream media would give it some coverage during a break from the endless monarchy marathon. What’s happening around Kharkiv is a total collapse and retreat of the Russian forces
MineFinder: just to clarify, I didn't mean you, I meant Quady.
"he has been instrumental in the delivery of major resource projects that resulted in nine corporate takeovers and over 5 billion dollars to shareholders." END
Bozi, we have a copper shortage looming in 2024/2025, shortage of mining investment and resources dropping fast across the majors. With a background like that coupled with Mather's 'proven' ability to monetise, I think we'll do well. There's every possibility that Copper will be priced nearer $7.50 than $3.50 by the time Alpala produces as the world will be well on the way to full electrification.
Mathers got about 11 weeks left based on the upcoming AGM. September will be over quick. Then just October/November to go.
There's no way he's going into that AGM without a plan. Not long now.
Fort - you do realise it's possible to squeeze NM. In fact, this could be what we're witnessing now.
Have a think why Orbis Gold only gets a fleeting mention in his bio. Have a read of the story.
Hopefully NM will be the man that saves us all but it's by no means a given.
Just a reminder why SOLG won't be going for a low ball. NM has been around the block for decades and he's proven to deliver shareholder value. Sit tight... it's coming.

Thanks you both for your opinions DBW and Bozi.
You both make pertinent points, I too said the same thing yesterday about ignoring goading behaviour and it would go away, I've also mentioned the filter option a few times.
Quady won't listen unfortunately, he won't compromise even when Slug only talks about SOLG.
He detests him. He perpetuates the problem. If he is allowed to have free reign he will think he can rule this board with deletion of anyone who doesn't agree.
If he had a little more humility I would not post against him again, but he must not be allowed to say what is and isn't OK on this board.
I'm on the side of fairness and that will never change.
Thanks again for your constructive comments without resorting to personal attack.
I don’t think anyone needs banning … we can filter
Straightforward question for Quady…
You have strong opinions about this character and that’s fair enough.
You stated last night you would not respond to this “vile individual “ again …… in retrospect was that true or a lie?
No need for insults or explanations just a simple true or lie
Much appreciated DBW
Jezzoo - a vote isn't relevant here. Everyone just needs to behave themselves.
Slug gets cancelled because he regularly breaks the rules with abusive and divisive commentary about any member he doesn't agree with. Others will act on this by notifying admin.
You think that organising yet another Quady pile on from Slug apologists is democratic? It isn't. In fact, you could argue that it's another brand of wokeness. I'm not sure that we're ready for that conversation yet.
Your options are to fight fire with fire and act against others in the same way that you feel Slug is treated, or you increase the standards of behaviour and ignore any influences or contributions that aren't in keeping with those standards.
The first option will be considered a no-go so the second it is.
In a democratic society such things are decided by a vote.
In the case of Quady vs The Slug: Which one should be banned
Votes
Ban Quady : 1
Ban The Slug : 0
Please start a new post every time to make it harder for the undemocratic to cancel votes.
