Ding dong, turn the lights on...
This will be fun
There once was an an Aussie called Slug...
On second thoughts, I'm off to bed. Big day tomorrow.
I'm wondering if this is a setup...?
In all my corporate life I never came across anything like this:
"Today I met with representatives of the company Mitsui & Co. Ltd., who expressed their interest in investing in the world-class Cascabel mining project, whose concessionaire is @SolGoldEc..."
Why would the Vice Minister of Mines tweet something as specific as this?
Why would Mitsui allow them to?
Maybe Mitsui approached the Board who gave them short shrift because Darryl wants to develop Cascabel, Porvenir, Helipuerto and all the ither 'cabs'...
Its clear Darryl got it very wrong with the Barrenjoey cashbox and then the apparent denial of a rights issue. Is he too singleminded...?
There once was a trader called Ray
Who trolled SOLG by night and by day
Like a pig that can't fly, not a share did he buy
I guess he's just funny that way.
There was was a young man called Quady
Whose predictions were always quite shady
At our faces he shook his ****e "diverse book"
Until the singing of that famous fat lady.
Thanks Sean, as I say too much chaff posted these days and I can’t be bothered with it.... been out Golfing and thought the Tweet was of interest…
We still need money Smick, and quick-ish.
We need to see if anything materialises from today's development and we need to see what shape any proposal may take, eg funding for regionals.
So, nothing has changed in that regard.
I'm shaking in my boots Quady, I really am.
DBW, Yes mate it's been a good day but not for the self describing one.
And yes he is and yes I will.
Looking forward to tomorrow
Just follow the ticks !
lol !
Who won the limerick comp? Or was it not a real comp :)
It has, but worth repeating.
Irwin clearly thinks it's bona fide, significant and hence "great news" in his words.

Investments in a copper mine in Chile (Collahuasi copper mine)
Mitsui Mineral Resources Development (Latin America) Limitada.Consolidated subsidiary

BHP Billiton Mitsui Coal Pty Ltd.Company accounted for by the equity method

Interesting developments & not effin before time!
Lets see what unfolds..........

Good research , Red . Respect for that ....keep it coming
I'd expect a further 2p rise tomorrow without an RNS taking us to a 19p base camp for the coming ascent back into the 20s when some kind of news does land.
as it looks like my 13p buy is looking like a really good investment.
An average of 18ish too.
Given that I'm a terrible investor luck-wise, I always hoped Solg would come good for me eventually.
I've known Mitsui for years via it's Bab**** connection and they're an excellent company.
Here's hoping my faith comes good and the Japs are in for a couple of hundred million.
Red ..
9/10
Nice one Red, seems you could be either very close or spot on!!
Fascinating post Red, cheers.
This is getting very interesting.
But a few on here seemingly very unhappy with todays rise...
Red you are close
RE: Give us something02 Sep 2022 22:57
Try this...
Sumitomo Corp has a 26% stake in Oresteel, which owns a controlling interest in Assore Holdings which has a 50% stake in Assmang.
Assore Holdings has increased its stake in Atlantic Lithium to 23.79% in April 2022.
Vincent Mascolo recently died. He was the CEO and founder of Atlantic Lithium.
Vincent was also a best buddy of Nick Mather and cofounded Solomon Gold with him.
Vincent was also a NED of DGR Global until 2021.
He founded Ironridge Resources, which spun off Atlantic Lithium a few months ago.
DGR Global owns 24.4% of Ironridge...
DGR Global owns 9% of Atlantic Lithium
So maybe the untimely demise of Vincent Macolo has triggered a determination by Nick to pull everything together...
Sumitomo Corporation, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Group, has a market capitalisation of $17 billion...it has a South American subsidiary and a commercial office in Ecuador...
So it seems they are putting together a portfolio of mining companies in various critical metals, including nickel, lithium and maybe now copper and gold...
They could swallow Solgold for small change...
Am I close....?
Jez
He’s poison
It’s been a really good day , please ignore and move on ….. just scrape it off your shoe
Bozi, sure sounds like your happy enough.
Blah blah blah need more money :-)
Addicknt - he's the same with everyone who doesn't hold his uber positive and 'creative' views.
It's a badge of honour. He can't handle your ability to adjust as events unfold and your ability to deal with nuance where necessary.
It's all about the huge asset, NCM, BHP, NM, Norges gorges (i mean...)and BlackRock.
Hope you enjoyed lunch. That case of rather expensive red could be shimmying into view.
Or Monday !!:):)
