Volume picking up...minutely...ALGOs again...still under 400k...
Why are we waiting....?
Not a big fan of the footie myself Bob.
I think you need to brace yourself for the next month.
Shipwright,
Its a share forum, not a footie forum. Lets only talk about Solgold. Seeing some holes in Helipuerto would of made my year. I'm over it.
Take the y out :)
Fortissimo...zphyr..
Sorry, previous post O/T btw
Fort
On the subject of the footie.
Where I live, the best place to go for a night out is a brewery tap and bar on a local industrial estate.
Opposite the bar there is a modern church in a unit. They have a big screen, so the bar and church are opening at 1.00 so folks can watch on the big screen with a beer from the bar.
If everyone pooled resources and co-operated, like this the world would be a far better place.
No Eloro many people make useful contributions to this forum and don't say any of those things.
You are just hateful and contribute zero.
I suppose if I start to bang on daily about the only way forward for solg is production, not a sale, and that the strategic review is a waste of time because production is the only way forward due to the diverse book, that would mean that I am making a valuable contribution to the discussion on this BB!!
On a more optimistic tone... well done Ecuador on putting the Qatar lot back in their box. Good chance Ecuador can make the last 16 which would be great for the nation. England next up to face Iran... can't bear the idea of losing to them... but this ENG side seem capable of delivering if they fire on all cylinders. No point in knocking it about for 60 mins playing safe and possession... just chuck men forward in numbers and blast them away! It's the T-20 style of football that we seem to be missing these days. Enjoy! Should be more interesting than watching paint dry on the markets today.
Ortherncopper,
Rather than make a statement based on just an hour or 90mins of trading why don't you reflect on the average values traded over the last week or two. I think you'll find they are at their highest levels for sometime.
Too many pi's get sucked into watching stocks on a daily basis and need some kind of fix. It's sad as it's not about that at all.
Someone posted on the day that Darryl got sacked that the market wasn't impressed as the sp was about 3% down on value less than 2m traded. Two days later the stock was at 18p/19p and about 20% up from the previous levels.
Classic example of pi's not seeing the bigger picture.
If you were holding Noront Resources at 23 cents, a while ago you'd be reading the same old pis stuff..... no interest, poor volume... when will this dull as dishwater stock do something?? I'm bored... no interest here... this is a dog of a stock. I just want to get out... fed up with the stock but can't bear to take the loss...market thinks the assets are worth 23 cents ... no is doesn't... yes it does coz the sp is 23 cents ...ohhh! That's pi's for you... well not all but a lot of them. As you know, Noront sold off 110 cents a few weeks later. A lesson learned for all those pi's that watch stocks like they are fruit machines... get a life... it's not about a days trading... it not abut a months trading... it's about monetisation and when it lands... the market will adjust. Why? Because it's forced to.
One thing is for sure the SR does not mean carrying on as we are !!
Thats unfair...124,000 trade in first couple of hours...£7k worth....
Yawnnnnnnnn....
Morning back…. I guess whichever way one chooses to view it, it should lead to a monetising event of some form, not just a continuation of the status quo..
yet the markets are simply not interested or still don’t believe what our board say.
Good morning Ortherncopper my understanding of the strategic review is to find the best way forward.
It does not mean selling Alpala of Solgold as a whole.
I guess we will know more in the new year.
1 trade just popped up
There is absolutely none! Zero interest..
I struggle to understand why given we have announced the strategic review..
This market isw just...waiting...
Nobody's selling...most are fully invested...nobody's buying (until the price spikes)...
A longggg....pregnant pause...no mention of the merger vote on CGP...surely the merger should be through soon...?
Will we get a stake sale first? Or will the shares be held in Treasury to roll out at a higher orice...
Who will bid first...will there be an immediate counter...?
Will it be BHP...emboldened by their cheap takeaway of OZ?
Will they do it pre merger, to avoid dilution...or after so they have 100% of Cascabel (though I think if they bought pre merger, CGP would roll over for a decent price for their stake...
Or will it be someone else who jump first...Mitsui (Sumitomo), Barrick, Fortescue, Lundin, Glencore, Elon Musk...?
More questions than answers...
Can't be long now...can it...?
Shanga, show us how fast you can go, assuming you can go smart.
Well done Derry said 2-1 hmmm, anyway see the 2 trades ,well is that 2pm or 2 days to news lol!!:)
