Its strategic kohaku...
Post merger BHP and NCM will own less than 10% each...
Meanwhile SOLG still 17.955 on TSX...
anon please show me where I've said the long termers have gone...
I haven't
DBW hasn't
the Colonel hasn't
addickt hasn't
etc etc
And when you say:
"And no, I don't think you're right about a takeover at all."
I'll remind you of that when it happens.
And where are you seeing "100% effort to keep all of the big buys out"...?
Jingxiang just bought 155 million shares...is that big enough for you...?
It's ok, I missed a word. Got it now
Anon … we’ll see
Rk, just like you think all the long termers have gone, I think you're wrong.
First, I think the long termers have just taken a back seat because they're sick of hearing how a takeover is imminent..
And no, I don't think you're right about a takeover at all. Certainly not by BHP anyway.
I'm seeing 100% effort to keep all of the big buys out.
As for Irwin, hecan say what he likes. I really don't care.
Meanwhile, assome try and ramp this, so the sp falls.
I'll maybe look to add tomorrow.
The Board of Directors of SolGold (LSE & TSX:SOLG) is pleased to announce that investors, including Jiangxi Copper (Hong Kong) Investment Company Limited ("Jiangxi"), (the "Investors") have agreed to purchase 180,000,000 shares (the "Investment Shares") at a price of US$0.20 per share (the "Investment"). Jiangxi has agreed to purchase 155,000,000 of the Investment Shares. The Investment Shares are expected to raise gross proceeds of US$36,000,000.?
It's gobbledygook
"Why can't everyone see this has been set up for a takeover battle...?"
Why can't you see the city don't think so, ie the sp?
I don’t get it too , if this strategic review only unlocks 36 million from a Chinese state mining company we are in dire times
Why can't everyone see this has been set up for a takeover battle...?
What else do Nick and Sangha have to do to convince you?
Still far too many living in the Cascabel to production era and we're going to run out of money and we're not doing anything, drilling, PFS2, PEA, etc.
Because SOLG's up for sale. You don't have to put up a For Sale board for the majors...they know whats happening...
And how much more do SOLG have to do to enrage BHP enough to come out fighting...
Theres no way the Chinese will end up with this...
Trust me, I'm not ramping, just trying to help people to make life changing money...
GLA
Not sure why Irwin thinks that's a 'boom'.
But then again, he might have snaffled some of those seemingly self created 25m shares that SOLG have placed with investors which they did not name.
That said, for most common pi's todays action and past days have presented ample opportunity to buy up stock at sub 17p level. So free for all to 'boom'.
In years past, an RNS that said we've got a new shareholder on board and they are basically bigger and more cashed up than BHP ... would have had the sp doing cartwheels higher.
The funny thing is, had they placed those shares with Wyloo, or Fortescue or Barrick or Rio... then I genuinely think we would have had a proper boom.
I bet irwin and co are wondering what on earth they have to do to raise the price here. A lot more if they are to beat the 'controlling hand' that is .... blackrock... but that's my guess so discard it as you see fit.
The delusional posters back again ,looks like its the end of the world and we go to production again !!:)
RK, I am firmly offered a load of shares. Is it the Mrs selling? ;-)
They probably are, but O2 is working on the line and I've been somewhat disconnected...
So sat here in splendid isolation and none of the phones are ringing...
Your
Red … you’re phone ringing off the hook ?
What Board...most of them have gone...except the newbies...
Meanwhile CGP continues to slide on TSX, but SOLG still at 18.27 equivalent...
The markets lack of faith in our boards ability is almost as low as mine
126 out of the last 152 trades...keeping it down...again...
I agree with that… the poor share price reflects the markets lack of faith
Why won't people on here look at the elephant in the room,
Nobody in the know believes we are going to be sold.
If they did the share price wouldn't be what it is.
It is the people on here that think we are going to be sold who are the uninformed.
Well said Bob!
More likely creative tension to force BHP's hand, especially if Mitsui emerge as the big buyer and/or with the CGP stake...
It’s probably fair to assume that at that price point, there was no other major interested, vying for the opportunity.
Fort …. No JV
Max good move
There is no longer a longer term…. Market will catch up soon
Irwin is a mathematician and a very good one
