Newtoit..... In the 2017 annual report we were ‘a Brisbane based exploration company’ In 2018 and 2019 we were ‘a leading exploration company’ However by the time of the 2020 annual report, we were now ‘an emerging copper and gold major’
So that’s us told. Because it’s in print. And other than a few board appointments, I can’t see what tangible changes we’ve made to the organisation structure which would facilitate this change of direction. Seems the market agrees.
Thanks BBG I’m convinced there is corporate action in motion as we speak . Just hope they get on with it . What is the latest estimate for the arrival of PFS , I know the Hamman note said Q1 .... bloody hope so
Lucky Steve hopefully a very close mate in Canada put me into auxico in April 2019 at 20 cents over the next year it went down to 2 cents I thought that the last time I spend 15k on close mates wink wink stuff anyway after forgetting about it I noticed it was rising thought should I sell even though he told me hang on anyway it's 60 cents and still holding wild ride it was very hard to find someone to buy them but I had a dormant account at killick who bought them for me anyway I've had alot of Lemons as well wish all well
Just for the record I sold 200k shares at 36.4p and have bought two lots of 50k shares this morning and will be adding another 100k in next week if I can get them around 25.5p as you always say buy when others are fearful my sources are sticking by there guns that next 24 months gold on a roll
You do realise that FNV has a MCap of $24 bBillion and the Alpala deal is over the life of the mine (last seen at 55 years...)
Here is how it was recorded in the FNV Q3 Quarterly Report:
"Alpala Royalty Interest: On September 11, 2020, the Company completed its previously announced transaction to acquire a 1% NSR with reference to all minerals produced from the Alpala copper-gold-silver project in northern Ecuador for $100.0 million."
Note its "all minerals produced from the Alpala copper-gold-silver project" not just gold...
I still believe that Nick primarily did the deal to substantiate his hyper valuation of Alpala (and thereby SOLG) and to substantiate his statements about the potential scale of royalty funding...
Wheaton is another major player in this market...MCap $18Bn...
hi zoros i do enjoy reading your posts because of your dry wit, but will you perleeeze try to keep some consistency in your view of SOLG ;) as even today you say you will be gone at 50p but then post the positive FN stuff showing our true worth. I just don't get you ?
RK / BBG I keep going back to CGP They turned down Solgold’s offer out of hand and sided with BHP / NCM ..... surely they would realise the risk that these guys would potentially want to dilute shareholders into oblivion if they could . So what is WI so confident about ?
No but there is undeniable interest from severa major players here...I was just speculating what it would take to take them out of the game...
It would also massively enhance China's strategic position in Ecuador...
If you are interested in researching that, I've juts read an excellent book ""The New Silk Roads" in which the author lays out Chinese expansionist policies and how they are 'armlocktng' governments and taking strategic market stakes across the world...
In 5 years time China will be the world's most powerful economy...look what they've already done in Africa...
I've listened to this earlier this week Z and if you could actualise what the BILLIONAIRE is talking about as an entity I think it would look pretty similar to Solgold!! Which is why BHP et al are working overtime to keep a lid on this stock as they are all aware of its TRUE value Hold tight guys
Those who have heard of him will know that he is probably one of the best (if not THE best) when it comes to Gold and Copper. He founded FNV, who (for the uninitiated) injected some serious dosh into Solg a while back for royalty streaming rights. The links at the end of this post take you to his latest audio on the subject, together with a transcript of what he says (for the impatient!). Two things shine through: 1. PL has hedged his bets with Solg - in that he doesn't care whether they go it alone or JV.....he will reap the rewards of his royalty streaming deal. Clever. [That is why BHP/NCM hate that arrangement - as they will inherit this arrangement if they JV with Solg]. 2. PL comments that of the 3000 junior mining businesses out there - only three or so will hit it big time!!! And PL has targeted Solg FFS! Copper is the future as far as he is concerned....more so than Gold ever will be...
For me someone like this who has invested in Solg....carries a lot of kudos He serves to remind me that what Solg has......is unique.
What could cause his deal to turn sour of course....is if Solg is bought out completely. I assume his royalty deal is with Solg and is not attached to ENSA in any way?? A buy out could nullify the royalty deal perhaps??
Good afternoon Redknight, sorry but the payback period will not increase, quite the opposite. Remember the payback period for under 4 years was calculated at the PEA. This used 1300 dollars an ounce for gold. The PFS will calculate at 1700 dollars an ounce, which reduces the payback period, even with the added cost of the redesign, and not taking into account the increased resource.
