Jezzo it's no point telling Quadybyou have a life away from here.
He doesn't know what 'away from here" even means.
He was left on the LSE doorstep as a baby.
That's a good point Lunch. It would seem irresponsible to plan $80m with only $61m in the bank, so...
Stake sale RNS imminent...?
Red mismanagement clearly they need to sell it on asap
Solgold won't be here in June
No regional drilling at all in Q1 outside of Moran...
I wouldn't mind if you held your breath Quady, wouldn't be offended at all.
So BHP will be happy in a JV ?
Will it be them or another company in joint charge telling them what's going to happen as a shareholder ?
This smells like yet another red herring for a sale to me.
Sorry I didn't reply sooner Quady, I have a life away from here, I have no problem in congratulating you on your foresight when it's signed and sealed, not before. Sorry old chum.
So we'll need another fundraise before June...if we get that far...
BPHIL, I couldn't find that, but it would hardly be surprising.
For me, this MD&A explains very clearly why action is needed pronto. Thank heavens we've got the ball rolling.
Based on my initial read through the main points to stand out are:
Cash at Sept 30 was $11.7m so they needed the Okisksisko deal.
That gives us $61m to carry us through from 1 Oct, but..
$53m is planned for Cascabel, mainly to do with DFS which they've started.
$27m is planned for other projects, mainly Porvenir, but some drilling at Rio, Helipuerto, etc.
Darryl was given 1.3m shares as well as his options.
Novice, I must have missed that - where is it recorded?
Indeed and very few of these people would be any use if we went into production.
A sale is the only sane route here.
Paddling our own canoecwould be utter disaster.
A JV would mean any shareholder value delayed by a decade at least, and then dribbled out as dividends in high inflationary times. Utter madness.
Irwin and the CGP boys won't stand for any of that talk now. We want shareholder value, not a 25 year job creation scheme and a gravy train for execs who don't deliver.
Am I reading correct that pfs & pea are being put back 6 months?
Add there are only 533 employees now officially on the books
And what if we do look to JV and the potential suitor says,no we would rather buy it than leave you with 10%. Are we going to say no thank you?
Believing everything the company tells you is like Believing an advert from a company on TV. They are only going to tell you want they want you to know.
It's interesting to note how little drilling is now being done and yet we continue to employ 750 people in Ecuador. I understand why we're doing it, but in effect we are paying a lot of people to do nothing, or very little. Mind you, the same is true of our numerous non-execs.
I would not be so sure.
Mather talked about production and not wanting to JV.
Bob just rubbished that and talks about a partner, does that mean a JV or someone who's going to buy it?
And thats without the results of the strategic review.
Sean, "why are any of us here?" because we invested at 6 to 7p about 6 years ago and had a lovely ride selling and buying along the way thank you very much. I think we are all now waiting for the final bus out of town and then its hasta la vista ;))
ONWARDS & UPWARDS!!!
Tesla1 and Quady as our new double act. Lord preserve us.
"NUTS AND GUM - together at last!"
Tesla you should do just a tiny bit of research before shoving yiur nose up Quadys rear end.
No one can accuse me of quoting silly prices. I talk of 50p+. I expect 60p-75p max. If they are silly prices why are any of us here?
Good luck with Quady as your new special friend!
Looks like you were bang on the money Copperpot, I think from memory dartfrog was also stating the same.
Well done.
$11.5m cash at the end of Sept. $14.5m spent in the previous quarter, which was down from $22m in the same quarter last year.
I could see no mention of DC's options being withdrawn...this sticks in the throat.
Quady
The posters you mention are gambling and want a quick win, the most rewarding route, but also the riskiest route, is to production if the mine is all it is cracked up to be.
No major is going to pay the silly inflated prices the likes of Seanhinter, Dbw etc are spouting.
A JV reduces the risk massively but the payout, judging on recent progress, will be a long time coming.
Those over leveraged gamblers redknight et al can’t wait that long……
Dare say seanhunter has now read the article and realised his hero Slug continues to be 100% wrong about Solgold and indeed everything in life.
Don't see the likes of Andywest and Jezzoo apologizing to me, as I won't hold my breath.
And the likes of Redknight and ColonelDrake have been shown to have been talking rubbish.
Feel free to apologize to me.
Addicknt I never said we would own 100%
I just said production was the most likely outcome.
And it looks like we are going to production.
I do admit that I didn't think we would get a JV and I am wrong on that if that's what Solgold now do.
But it looks like what ever way you look at this we are heading towards production.
Seanhunter try reading DBW's post it couldn't be clearer, we are going to production with a JV.
This is the article that was difficult to post a few days ago.
