Stop fear mongering novice.

looks like my 55p by COP tomorrow prediction is well and truly up the swannee !!!
If the vote doesn't go our way , and looking at the recent comms coming out could be very tight I fear this could drop into single figures i.e 7p to 8p wouldn't take long, anyone else feel that way or are majority positive ?
The outcome of the AGM is finely balanced and will depend entirely on how private investors vote. Perhaps we should send a note to Twigger saying we will support the management provided they come clean and promise to sell the business. No more fecking around with opaque announcements - just a clear and unambiguous statement.
Q to be fair ….. you have been saying this will be going to production for years (though now changing your tune a bit) and we if anything are moving further away from that outcome day by day.
Good grief SharketMare. You say show some humility.
Where's your humility.
You have been telling people this will be sold month after month.
Basically you have told bare faced lies.
How about an apology from you to all the people you have purposely mislead on here, or has it been through sheer arrogance.
Either way this forum deserves an apology from you.
Jezzoo that's a good thing.
As not everyone follows the herd and I wouldn't spend my time replying to posters like Slug, Andywest or SharketMare.
I used to filter you Q because I was conscious of boring the board going tit for tat with you on a whole host of topics. As we head into the end game here and you reverse ferret on a daily basis, regularly post things that are objectively wrong, and disappear when challenged, I'll continue to call you out. Show some humility and I'll pack it in.
rcgl2, I follow your sentiment but don't think they are aligned as you think they are. For instance... if they know they are getting a sale deal done, then why wouldn't they want to suppress the price so they can get more cheap shares?? They've done it already with the recent 17p placing imho. They could have got that away in August or September at mid 20's. Remember these boys have been planning this for the last 4 months or more. They got around the table in July. Do you think they all said... lets get a placing done at 25p and we can help ourselves or do you think they said... look... sale price likely to be lower than the higher target of 80p+ so lets all get some cheap shares before we do the sale and line our pockets!!!
Finally, you are aware that Maxit sold out all their SOLG shares 3 or 4 years ago to BHP at just 25p.
Still think they are aligned with your aspirations?? While many pi's are fully invested and can't afford more, the money men can average down or buy more cheap shares and that's hard to ignore when dealing with greedy money men.
I hate to state the obvious Q, but if everybody followed the herd and filtered you, you'd be posting to yourself.
Thank you rcgl2, I only look at shorting on the UK market.
I will get a Canadian site to show me
As for you SharketMare you have shown many times that you are unaware of basic investment tools.
You don't seem to have much sense at all.
I have a good idea why don't you filter me.
You won't because like most you don't like the way I post, but I continue to make points on this share that the herd doesn't.
Do everyone a favour.
Filter me and follow the herd.
You become more of a clown by the day Quady. If you weren't so condescending to other posters I'd just ignore it, but the way you talk down to people from what is regularly found out to be a position that is factually incorrect means it's worth calling you out each and every time.
We can add the shorting comment below to the list of things you've been wrong about.
Quady, it is being shorted now in Canada by a fund called XIB AM. Appears to be a merger arbitrage. I don't think it means much and once the merger is done the SP will move on. I just don't think Maxit are involved in shorting a company they just invested another $5m into.
Agreed rcgl2, it just shows the people that say shorting of Solgold is happening talk utter rubbish.
But don't take my word for it.
Check UK shorting table's.
Solgold has not been shorted for as long as I have been invested.
I check on a regular basis.
Sorry to burst your bubbles but the idea that Maxit, which is soon to be a very significant shareholder in Solg and has just invested $5m to buy even more shares, would then be shorting Solgold via some secret arrangement with another firm is absolutely preposterous! Get it into your heads, Maxit, Irwin, Nick Mather, Blackrock, Norges, Berry Street and every other fund and long investor on the register want the same outcome as we do - the share price to go as high as it possibly can! None of them are going to be shorting the stock, suppressing it so they can load up cheaply, tanking the SP for BHP's benefit or any other ridiculous theory you want to cling to to try to explain away why YOUR investment in Solgold hasn't returned you the mega riches you were expecting yet.
A quick google search will show you that 181 Bay Street is a 49 storey tower in downtown Toronto, it's hardly proof of a grand conspiracy that two financial firms happen to have offices there. I'm sure there are many firms based in the same building.
Maxit and Sangha are driving this bus now for an exit at the highest possible price. That means get the SP up as high as possible before a bid comes in, so that we don't get some jester offering to buy us at a 25% premium to last close which equates to a miserly 21p.... which is what we'd get today for that.
It was close last time around at the AGM but I think CGP (can't be sure) were voting with BHP/NCM then??
Should get some TR1's today if BHP and NCM pull their finger out. Wouldn't be funny if the TR1's showed they had been buying???
Can't wait to see Blackrocks! But being sub 5% they might not need to update as oversea threshold is greater than 5% level.
MMS might be able to drag it down and others but us wise shareholders know what's coming hold fast everyone gl.
Director's buying shares , Chinese buying shares and probably other hedge funds and institutions go figure !!
Exactly Gino ...
addicknt, FWIIW, I don't think there's much in it for holders with less than 2% so hedge funds not likely to bother. The main player in this (imho) is Maxit. I think they are the doing the ARB work and the recent 23m shares will help them assuming they've forward sold. Remember they have a large CGP stake. As Redknight has pointed out, they are active in the market whether that be via apparent unrelated depts/companies on the same street/offices. Perhaps they just thought it smart to short half the 23m shares ahead of AGM just in case BHP and NCM pull rabbit out of the bag??
Just received an emailed letter from SOLG with Board members and NM all urging shareholders to vote FOR ALL proposals at the AGM. They must see it as being pretty tight.
Why hold shares and not vote?
Protect your investment and get on the phone NOW! (As that looney Irishman almost said!)
I will get my £1.32 imho gla.
RNS out ,Right NM says vote for so am voting for ,just read through the lines in this rns they are saying TO GIVE BEST VALUE TO SHAREHOLDERS. Go figure it's being SOLD ....
Onwards and downwards ,don't you just love this share and all the rubbish spouted in here ,me included lol!!:):))
