Theoretically…. But he won’t
dreamboatwarrior,
He can offload providing there no significant events in the offering ......ie during quiet periods where T/O are non existent.
Not2sure,
i don't understand your question ?
Who do i ? can you elaborate the question ....
Many thanks
Yes …. He is however an insider. So there are plenty of “closed periods” where he would not be able to buy or sell either his personal holding or yhosd he holds through DGR
Who do you have to check with first Josephi ?
Could he in theory sell 90 million shares to DGR using their broker at a specific time of day for example .....
DGR ask for 90 million shares and he is willing to offload.... is theoretically possible ?
Nick will sell his shares when he thinks an offer is acceptable
Gents,
hopefully not opened a can of worms here.......
It's a genuine question ...... can nick offload his shares without consulting the market ? or is he bound by the same rules as us mere mortals ?
Hi Quady,
I assume with Nicks Affiliation -connection to DGR he has other joint loyalties .......
Who's permission does he need to sell his shares ? apologies if this is obvious ?
Josepi, I ma not an expert but I think he can sell his hares to anyone he likes. However, if as a result the major's holding reaches target at which bid is triggered then they have to offer to buy our shares at the same price
Yes ! Whoever he likes !!
Good evening Josepi.
The answer is yes Nick can sell his shares at anytime like any private investor.
And indeed he does sell some every year to give money to charity.
Shares in DGR and Tenstar, which Nick has influence over, would only be sold as an asset of the company, so Nick cannot sell those without permission.
That question is open to anyone.......
Many thanks .
Joking aside,
Can Nick sell his shares as he likes to say one of the Majors without going through the same process as private investors?
Redknight, I will sell to the highest bidder .
Good question Bozi...fact or opinion...?
DGR and Mather will sell to the highest final bidder...
Fort - you got a source for this:
"Strategic Review well advanced and results due shortly or after merger concluded is my guess so sometime around mid Jan."
None taken Copper, but as Addicknt says, we're all ears!
I never said it was nonsense either by the way. I just thought it was standard CEO bluster that people should keep in mind but not necessarily hang their investment on.
Enjoy the break.
Lol, I wondered who would pick up on that comment !
Come on copper, tell us what you know!
Chinese took a large wedge recently.
CGP now aligned to SOLG shareholders as pay day soon t be through SOLG shares and not CGP.
Strategic Review well advanced and results due shortly or after merger concluded is my guess so sometime around mid Jan.
AGM looks safe but if you haven't voted - get on to it now. Every vote counts as sends message to BHP et al.
Copper predictions soaring for 2024/25.
What's not to like?? The share price at the moment... not nice at all. But that should change once the Strategic Review confirms what many of us all think.... monetisation is high on the agenda.
Chill.
Bozi, apologies....that was predictive text. No insult intended.
Bozo, if what I know is half true, believe me, you wouldn't call it regurgitated nonsense!
Now....... Christmas break time.
Many Investors are clinging to these things rather than accept the real status quo… it’s comforting
