Redknight,
I hope your right, I've got feeling your right.
2023 is pay day here
In fact we probably wont need the Osisisko money which can be repaid...
6.3% to Jiangxi is a teaser to set up a bidding war...
The next TR1 should be interesting...
First one visible? Looks like Canadian based fund
https://www.shorttracker.co.uk/company/GB00B0WD0R35/
We're not going to production...
This thing will be sold within a few months max...
Dont worry...
Redknight,
Whats the plan after the 86 million is used up? That's my point ..... The sums here to get this to production are staggering!
That's why we need to move on and sell this monster of a resource and not keep handing out the begging bowl every few months for further funding
Dreamboatwarrior,
I entirely agree this is not going to production.
Ongoing saga of funding...?
Weve just raised $86 million...enough to get well into H2 next year...
But we wont need that long...
copper, for me the biggest indicator of our intentions is the director issue. When DC was given the heave-ho the RNS said a replacement would be sought and the search was starting 'immediately' . When it was announced that Scott was taking over there was no longer any reference to long term replacements, and there was only a 12 day gap between the two announcements, so something pretty significant happened in that period. The same is true for the CFO role.
Hi Josepi, yes it has been a long journey matey, I do think there's plenty more miles for the clock too! There are probably "many" options being worked on...and not necessarily a sale.
As for high end staff leaving the company of late, duplication of staff doesn't look good on the balance sheet down the line!
We aren’t going on like anything
It’s obvious we’ve finally had a change in direction and any pretence of production has been firmly kicked into touch
Morning Copperpot,
It already has (to put it mildly) a long drawn out process here.......How long investors are prepared to wait is a further unknown.
I've recently invested new money here and am happy buying at these levels....However, I do see this ongoing saga of funding coming to head sooner than most people think here. It's constantly destabilising the company and trust is fast waining with the current BOD to manage the situation effectively.
We can't go on like this and the sooner the Solgold for sale sign is put up the better for all.
Big volumes...1.334 million including the UT...
If this article had said a bidding war is 'being lined-up' it would make far more sense. Director and Maxit share purchases and no RNS, tells us it's not currently in discussions.
With regard to the DC departure, the only sense I can make of the comment about 'simplifying the management structure' is that absent a full-time CEO, a buyer wouldn't have to deal with redundancy costs etc, and even then it's pretty daft.
I would suggest this article is pretty poor journalism...but what else do you expect from financial journalists? most of whom tried to become mainstream writers and dreamt of their own columns, but never cut the mustard.
It's a pity really, I think we could all do with an early Christmas present.
The simple fact is.......it is going to be a long drawn out process here...my opinion only! I'm not deramping by any means, just being realistic. I continue to hold and haven't sold one share.
I quoted Warren Buffet about 2yrs ago, his phrase was......"You can't make a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant" It is very true!
Some people here want payday now (I understand that) but the fruit is not ripe, and not ready for picking. Our feast will come, we have to be patient!
Damo squib on this rumour then as usual
It's very simple Darren...despite it being blindingly obvious that this is set up for a takeover battle that some of us (DBW for example) have been flagging for weeks, some are giving up on their dream of on their dream of Allala going to production...
And given the much higher volumes in the last 5 weeks it's also clear that others are gratefully gobbling the shares...
Fir as long as there are disillusioned sellers, why should the MMs pump the price...?
I said a while back that Arren Wirwin tweets should be taken with a pinch of salt. One or two scoffed at my comment, if Arren W told them the moon was made of green cheese...they'd believe him. Desperation does strange things to some!
Correct Darren, ......" No sale imminent"
Darren, I mentioned this yesterday and no, they wouldn't.
Evening all.
I am all for directors buying shares, means they have skin in the game, but does it imply there are no takeover talks at moment nor immenent. Surely they wouldnt be allowed to buy with this inside info? Also very negative market reaction to RNS, I was expecting the opposite! Any ideas?

Too true toS1963, let's keep our fingers crossed. I'm optimistic about the involvement of Bob Shanga. This for a change is uncharted territory .
Sorry to be a copy and paste poster, but here’s a section of Ecuador Mining Law..... In accordance with the mining law, a mining concession has four years on initial exploration, four years on advanced exploration, two years renewable to an additional two years on economic evaluation and the remaining up to 25 years on exploitation. The exploitation period can be extended for up to another 25 years.
So I’ve we are clearly in economic evaluation, and have been for some time, that clock is ticking. And not in a good way.
I respect that covgaz
Monte, your post of 20:14 pretty much hits the nail on the head. It’s been a mishandled, sorry mess. I further share the sentiment of your last sentence.. “ Hopefully the filling of troughs and options is done ad we can get rid if the whole lot quickly.” But sadly I’ve long since given up on optimism for the best outcome for Sol gold. We shall see. I don’t believe it will be too long now. Those licences have some pretty penal clauses (government take ownership of the lot) if we don’t get the finger out soon and either design a mine, or sell it to someone who will.
Oh and btw I ticked that one up myself , I said 20:43. Listen I'm not here to argue and fight although it would seem that's all I do. No offence offered and none taken.
