Hi LM he said upon signing of the agreement, so I take that to mean they only comment when they’ve reached a binding agreement.
Fawzi has kindly replied. In summary:
1. The CEO search process is in it’s final stages.
2. On the vice minister of mines’ statement SolGold will comment upon signing of the agreement. Also the $430m figure includes previous investments at Cascabel.
Or possibly guilty of having a sense of humour
Almost like life under Mather.... hes probably still in control over there
wow. Tough crowd.. or maybe just frustrated / too much time on their hands. I think RK does a solid and great job of sharing. Kudos to him on that front. His info. is inline with what WI has shared and Zoro shared. I suggest everyone take some time out and enjoy the sun, leave the chatroom and have a few drinks. End of October here seems v v plausible to see new CEO.
it is "odd" how they intimated they had their guy/gal & just needed to agree t's n c's / remuneration package with the remuneration committee - maybe they couldn't agree?
also considering KM also intimated we were well on with this search & selection indicating there were likely only a few left in the running it felt almost "imminent" months ago now.............. tik effin tok!!!
cummon SLOG gerron with it!!!!!

The CEO on is fascinating…. Either they don’t need one due to a sale .
Or they do but it will follow other announcement/s
They have had plenty of time to get the right person in place and any delay on this front must surely be manufactured….. interesting that Irwin said the ceo announcement would be the catalyst, which would indicate Solgold having a future in some form or other …… tick tick tick
Lunch
From the conversations I’ve had it’s pretty clear they have plenty of “ammo” stockpiled to help bolster the price of and when needed
Perhaps RK's source is Blind Freddy?

[still holding & have added]
At the moment it feels like it's all 'Blowin in the wind' but you can be sure 'the times they are a-changin'
I'm not hanging any hopes on the CEO announcement causing any sustained SP leap, but clarity is needed: 'How does it feel to be on your own, with no direction known?'
Eish, I would agree with Bozi but would add the following; any sign of corporate activity and or, CGP doing something with their holding. As far as the latter is concerned we know we are now working with them - provided we haven't fallen out again, and we know the ambition was to allow them to monetise their holding. Having said that, I'm not expecting anything until the PFS appears.
Eish - this is no longer an AIM stock where smaller individual news items can have a profound effect on the share price.
The results received from TAM last week were pretty good and what was the result... a little run to 32p before being sold off again resulting in recalibration at 29p. Small time traders still looking to skim off the top.
The appointment of a CEO may give investors reason to speculate but it isn't likely to be a significant value creator, IMO.
The major value creators are:
PFS and BFS - both give updated asset values ans economic plans for our flagship asset.
Significant discoveries on regional projects - big additions to the overall story but again likely to be traded as we saw with Porvenir.
MREs - these add to the company's resources which can be used by investors to value the company.
I have emailed the nerve centre and asked about the deputy mining minister's statement and the CEO situation. No reply from Fawzi yet, but I am sure the reply is imminent.
Addictnt or any other Investors here. A question and your opinion, please while we wait and wait....
Which do you think is going to be the Bigger Cracker to moving this share price up and giving us the momentum we need:
Appointment of the new CEO
Or Drilling results?
Or a combination of BOTH at the same time
(or is this just a silly question, then I am sorry! LOL I left out PFS as this is probably December)
yes Grim - was not exactly inspiring the last lot of results were they?
walking hols - well was deffo less of a hols and more of a reslentless walking marching time............
had a couple of "easier days" thankfully - but yeah came to the rapid realisation I was no longer in my twenties & 11 stone hadnt smoked half as much as I have now & was without ailments ................. suffice to say it was a struggle - but we made it and was great to see such a gorgeous part of the country - views to die for & weather was pretty darned good too only had one day with a bit of rain & over-cast - other than that - pretty sunny ;o]

Still waiting for the best hole in S America too… :D
Hole 24 may end up being the best hole at Tandayama so far, but that’s not how it was reported to us by RedMitty
When your source told you the appointment of a CEO was 'imminent', do you now get the feeling they were being economical with the truth?
