never mind climate change its rapid sp change i advocate !!!
It’s the speed of change that’s the killer.
The atmosphere has had many changes to its makeup, most species will adapt over time, but not at the rate of change that is progressing just now.
So please tell me what happens at 1200 ppm in the atmosphere, we are currently at just over 400 ppm in the Earths atmosphere. Plants need water as well as CO2 .
How much animal life do you think will be left on Earth when the atmosphere is at 1200 ppm.
I guess greenhouse keepers are "conspiracy idiots" then - they intentionally pump Co2 at a 1200ppm level into their greenhouses, because 100s of years of biology and botany - not to mention their annual yields - all show that Co2 is good for plant life. Your "conspiracy" statement is simply hilarious, and a "go to" accusation for the hard-of-thinking conformist everywhere.
That's completely incoherent.
FatherTedFeck, please give me an example of a negative feedback loop, where we see more carbon synced into the Earth.
The only one I can think of is a mass extinction of all life on Earth. How is this a good thing.
Also Global warming does not green the Earth.
You have conspiracy idiots who believe that more CO2 is good for plant life.
What they ignore, is this was the period in which the Earth cooled, today the man made element knocks this out of kilter, because such a small temp change, will render that argument null and void.
Quady correction, I have a substantial lack of knowledge, not a complete one. Things are never as absolute as some are inclined to believe. Is there a specific statement you wish to contend off your own bat?
What utter rubbish FatherTedFeck, it shows a complete lack of knowledge on the subject.
Hang on...I think fossil fuels ARE helping. Global Greening is the greatest ever gift we have returned to the biosphere. And the little bit of heating we have contributed is obviously good for life as well. The popular catastrophic scenarios rely upon positive feedback loops - eg 1/2 degree of our warming causes xyz to cascade, thereby raising the temperature 4 degrees. These are wildly improbable in a multi-billion year old system, which has seen far greater warmings, freezes and the rest. Negative feedback loops are far more likely in such a system. And indeed one appears to be in effect now, with our having raised the Co2 considerably, yet the satellite temperatures today are back to 20th century levels. hardly the catastrophe we were badgered into expecting by now.
If you want a serious but balanced opinion on climate change and what we should do then I don’t think you can do better than listen to Bjørn Lomborg.
Ship .... where did I say people should stand by and let the planet implode?
Calm yourself down , I simply said some folk like to jump on the woke bandwagon but only when it suits them .
We all know fossil fuels aren’t helping yet most green stickers seem to be in the back of 4 x 4’s
Agreed DBW many hypocrites. I do things which are not environmentally friendly, but I try to do my bit.
I don't eat meat 5 days a week, I repair goods and make do. I now have a new TV set, but repaired my old one many times over 20 years.
My Central heating boiler is 51 years old, but I have a gas bill of only 40 pounds a month, as It is only on 2 hours a day.
I could do a lot more.
DBW.
It's not spot on. Children who are proteting haven't demanded air condition in every room. It's been put there by the adults.
If you really think kids or anyone should stand by and just watch the planet being destroyed you need a bit of a wake up call.
Some kids which the media portrays DBW, most are not.
My children never had a games console and still don't today, nor did their friends.
They didn't have a mobile phone until 13 as they had to buy it out of their own money, and so taught mathematics to earn a wage.
They have also taught me a lot, and send me links to the latest scientific content.
I have found most young people are switched on and better informed than the older generation.
My wife has several “green “ friends .... they all drive 4x4’s .... I don’t think one of them has ever gone off-road ( deliberately lol) ..... some set standards and stick by them ..... most like to attach their name to a cause when it suits them
What he says about the kids of today and their sense of entitlement is spot on
Very funny DBW, however the point is be sure of the facts before protesting.
We are sure of the facts, as a fact is an observable event that is either directly or indirectly observed.
So the person whose item was read out, doesn't even know what a fact is.
We have been sure of the facts for over 50 years.

Hope this works better .... sorry
Agreed Rcg
This is a SOLG BB to discuss the investment or otherwise case re this company........
Sorry for my part....didn't this to be going on as nauseum all day and detracting from the SOLG discussions.....

DBW has that link been shared from your PC, it is not an absolute path, so unreadable.

Exactly Shipright.
Very well said.
If the planet becomes uninhabitable, there's not much point in investing to accumulate.
It's a very important subject, far more important than the repetitive dross posted daily on here.
Sorry rcgl2 couldn't disagree more.
Climate change is what will drive this share and give copper it's value.
Hence should be discussed on this forum, as it's the main driver of the Copper price.
A more relevant question would be, why would climate deniers invest in Solgold, as they would have no understanding of what drives the Copper market.
The only relevant facts about climate change for Solg are that most governments around the world have accepted that it is happening, and they are enacting policies to do something about it, most of which require large amounts of copper and to some extent silver. Solg is sitting on top of a lot of both. Demand for copper will be high for the foreseeable.
Doesn't matter if man-made climate change is real or not, doesn't matter if the policies succeed or not. What matters for the purposes of this board is that the policies are in place. Suggest taking the rest of the climate change discussion to another forum.
