Wow Cornerstone already in a hole for $32m and rising
thanks
Solgod a unique investment opportunity....
UKI - 100% ownership aids bid defence and simplifies conditional financing.
No idea why so keen on Cornerstone unless to help stop a takeover bid
He mentioned a big rerate of the share price -- let's see
Why is he so desperate for cornerstone exactly? It’s not at a discount to SOLG from a value perspective?
Mathers inability to make friends and carve out win/win deals for his partners and SOLG will in the end only hurt him. BHP ****ed at Franco Nevada deal. Newcrest ****ed and resigns from board. Ongoing fight with CGP (partner) over the deal made with them. These are all connected and CGP is obviously working with one or both of these parties to change direction of the company. NM has become far too arrogant and self serving. JMHO GLTA
Don't care too much for personal politics, just hope this gets to ÂŁ2 soon. We've all been waiting a fair while...
Back to the greenhouse, greenfly playing havoc with my cucumbers !
So let me think about this, what is the statement CGP are going to make to start the removal of NM.
Maybe it will be something like this.
We at CGP, are requesting the removal of NM and the entire board, so that we can replace them with people who are not up to speed, and not as competent. The reason for this, is we don't have the money to hand over at DFS, and maybe we could sell this cheap, so that we don't need to raise any money, and we get some much needed cash, into a company, that really needs it. Pretty please, please support us.
What is in 10mins and where can I find it, please? :)
Hi Tiger, don't think that's the case, would be simpler to wait till October.
I think we'll find that the requisition has been carefully designed so that BHP have the legal excuse they need to break that lock up. Just saying...
I won't be surprised if we get ncm bid first
I wonder whether either BHP will suggest that this event allows them to break their lock up, or they ask NM that they break their lock up?
Why is the share price flying?
IMO, because this is now a takeover battle. (A rather messy and complex one).
WHOOSH, here we go
this is going to be on everyones radar and newspage for some time to come - what splendid free advertising for SOLG :)
Cheers, CGP, you did us a solid!
Obviously market likes it
It's bound to make lawyers a lot of money. They always win
why it starting to fly up?
I'm beginning to wonder if these 2 will end up in court over their issues. Seen it before and can affect scheduled activities and hence sp. Let's hope not!
