Happy to be proven wrong on that of course!
The pfs list stated most parts were complete but some data still needed to be collected.
Basically they can release when they want (within reason) and make up any old excuse.
Strategically it would make sense to release after drill results/assays for porvenir, blanca and rio imo.
Must admit I thought the very same rcgl2
There's a old load to get through
Yes that's correct smickster, but the answer was first given on the 1st October, I was listening live and made a note afterwards.
Jason Ward answered the question which was on the wave riders presentation on the 14th October.
The answer was 2-3 weeks so is due(again) anyday and hopefully by next Wednesday.
My guess would be next Wednesday.
Signs of life ......
Colonel sorry to be a pain but I don’t suppose you got the link?
... actually I'll have to correct my last post, the last RNS on the PFS on 30th September did explain the reasons the PFS has been delayed from the planned end of Q3.
Sorry AngHol, that date was given, as on 1st October Jason Ward gave a webinar, and he said that the PFS was held up, because of the technical data, needed to be added, and that they were waiting for the last bits, and he said it was imminent.
However the last question that was asked, was when will the PFS be out. The arbitrator said I think you have answered that, but they want a statement on it. He then said 2-3 weeks. So the latest date is 22nd October.
If you look at the list of items that still needed to be completed to finalise the PFS, it looks more like 2-3 months' work rather than 2-3 weeks. Maybe sometime end of November, early December is more likely.
hi Quady, yes the PFS would be good but a few more weeks away i feel ? I doubt we'll ever get an explanation as to why it's been delayed - because if I recall correctly, they've never given explanations on other missed deadlines ?
Probably because that was never given as the PFS date
Hi RICH3R, I will just settle for the PFS, you would think the least they could do is tell us why the 22nd October date has come and gone, and no update.
With the Coronavirus 2nd wave now rising, will markets be retreating once again as they did in March? The FTSE 100 has certainly been falling . It's not rocket-science. And will the markets drop to March levels? Probably not, as much more is known about the virus now and it's no longer a 'big surprise'. But we all know what happened to the SOLG SP in March - not good !
We need the carrot of something 'imminent' to remain dangling here imho or else a slide seems likely. I can only speak for myself, but the carrot for me is a buyout, JV or Farm-out. Anything less and the shine is going to start to wear off again - even if forthcoming drill results are good or even stellar. The golden destination of production at Alpala is just too far into the blue yonder to sustain interest here and now. That said, maybe Porvenir can transform the production timeframe? Here's hoping.
Come on Mr Mather let's be having something tasty served up on the plate - and soon !
:D aimho dyor.
Assays?
Updates on LH, Blanca, etc?
PFS?
Mock and snore not shock and awe news strategy at present
Long and strong, but also bored and somewhat frustrated.
Don’t want to sound like a parrot - but where is the assey results and the PFS - answers on a postcard
Zoroaster - Sapper, Royal Engineers !
Oh God...I feel my strength being sapped again...
;-)
Magoo - no...is that a deceased sapp? A sapp that is no more. A sappex? Sapless
Z
Zoros - you sound like an ex Sapper
Quady, You're a stubborn "A B'stard", I'll give you that! You aren't a descendant from Rourke's Drift were you!
I'd have you as the staff sergeant in my garrison any day ;)

I don't disagree with most of what you have just stated addicknt, as you are correct and have never run a company.
I don't think any company I would run, would be successful, as I am not made that way. ( no bad thing to be aware of one's weaknesses ).
I also agree that this will be hard to defend against a high offer, and I think we would both agree, that it would be easy to defend against a low ball offer, for the reasons I have stated many times. ( sorry the 50 pence mob will be upset with that comment )
Not so sure on your comment on why you would consider the diverse book to be a weakness rather than a strength, when you look at how it's arranged.
Maybe I could ask you to expand on that point, so I can better understand your argument.
Thank you Miagi, it's mild dyslexia, and hasn't held me back in life, apart from report writing, which I was called upon to do more often than I would have wished. I had colleagues that would sanity check what I wrote, and amend, while not distracting from the content of meaning.
I like being retired, as although many aspects of the job I loved, the report writing wasn't one of them.
The worst part is I use words in the wrong context, it's not bad when I talk, but my friends can notice it, and just let it go.
Q, and still no answer to the key question - the one that changes absolutely everything.
In a sense, it's a pity you've never run a company, if you had you'd have a much better understanding of the dynamics and thought processes. NM and the team aren't sitting around the table saying 'oh well, it hasn't happened so far and as long as will keep saying we're going to production, it never will'. Part of what they will be doing will be considering the real threat the 'diverse' register poses. You know, the same 'diverse' register which you feel is a great asset, whereas it's actually a huge weakness.
I think virtually the only thing you and I agree upon is that this company is worth a great deal more than the current market cap and that NM has done a superb job in getting us to the position of being a hugely attractive target.
I was being a bit harsh Quady, and certainly it wasn't aimed at your grammar, as you've previously stated that you are dyslexic.
I bow to your greater knowledge Miagi, as grammar is not my strong point.
