Ooo Err looks like Z has got his knickers in a twist after RK rightly spanked his a££ for his crassness in revealing the end of the new James Bond film before people had seen it! Pot calling kettle black claiming RK has a big ego - just look in the mirror Z but make sure it’s extra big to fit your inflated sense of self worth
Copperpot: that would take all the mystery out of his endeavours! He needs to give the impression he is the 'special one' holding a private audience with the chairman. He can then manipulate the answers to big up his ego.
Does anyone believe the Chairman of Solg is going to divulge anything of value to 'just another punter'?
Z
Hi redknight1, why not publish your questions tonight before the event? It would be better for clarification. If people were cynical ( like me maybe?) they could say that the questions were written up after the event! Why not post them upfront? Copy and paste is simple, you could do it Zippo matey.
GLA.
I can't imagine why they would make a member of the general public an insider , whats to gain from that?
Could you ask him when the best hole ever drilled in SA will be RNS'd.
Hi Jerry
If he is making me an insider he will be required to state that up front before we start the meeting.
I have now drafted all the questions and I will publish them with the responses after the exchange...
Unless he makes me an insider...
Red I did apols
Evening RK. I am sure that you would be doing this anyhow (or he may be doing it first). Can you clarify whether he is making you an insider. If he isnt, I am hoping that you will share with us what he says. If he is making you an insider, will you take the call?
Maybe you could point out that within the PI community (of which I dont suppose he gives tuppence for) the board of Solgold have become a laughing stock. Their stock exchange announcement dont clarify anything at all. They just muddy the waters. Is that the intention?
Did you miss this Bubble...?

Don't worry Lunch, I got all those...
Red,no UT today fully loaded you think rns holding?,T/O offer coming?,drill updates first?,the mind boggles doesn't I lol!!:):)
Thanks for those who have offered suggestionsI.
I'm finalising the questions now for tomorrow.
I can't ask that DBW...its pejorative...sorry
Yes you're right rcgl2 thanks for reminding me. No shock and awe re NM this time then?
IIRC one third of the board of directors is up for re-election each year. Last year it happened to be Mather's turn, which allowed the vote against him to happen. Wonder what the situation would be like today if he hadn't been up last year... So this year he should not be up for re-election. He was elected as a board director last at last year's AGM, even if it was by a less than convincing majority.
He still has his shares to vote against a low bid. Basically I did find his representations/puff as a Director to be reliable to put it politely.
Mather owns a bucket load of the company and as a shareholder, he wants Maximum return for his holding.
We need him there to defend a low bid otherwise if he is removed, the independent board will accept anything they can get.
Why would anyone want to remove Mather.
Woody, I'm not sure what the term of office is, so I don't know the answer I'm afraid.
A good list Addicknt. Do you know if we get to vote against NM being re-elected as a NED, i don't see why he should not be up for re-election at the AGM?
RK, some questions to ask him (although I'm sure they are already on your list)
1. Why did the company feel it necessary to release the RNS last week?
2. What specifically is it about the current corporate governance that the company feels needs to be addressed with the main shareholders. Have they expressed concern? If so, what has changed since 28th May?
3. Have they been made insiders? (he won't answer that one)
4. Why is it taking so long to fill the two most important jobs?
5. Is the PFS still on track for this quarter?
6. Are there any unusual motions scheduled for the next agm? Has the company retained the use of the proxy companies?
7. Is NM acting in any executive capacity? If so, why?
8. How is the relationship with CGP? Are they being constructive?
9. When will the roadshow be completed and will he be issuing an RNS explaining the background and conclusions?
Thanks.
RK
Could you ask him a hypothetical question
If we were looking to defend a bid , would it be advantageous to have a load of news ready to release to the market in the pipeline as I can only think we have way more news available than they are putting out there ?
RK, can you ask him if the information/answers he gives you are the same as he has supplied to the main shareholders? If he's providing them with anything different, unless they've agreed to become insiders, he would be breaking company law. If possible, you should remind him of this in the politest possible way. In law, every shareholder has equal standing...although obviously in reality we don't.
Top 11 trades = 371,000 shares...
The remainder = 104 trades for an average size of c1,000 shares...still c£280k per bargain...
Plenty for me to ask the Chairman tomorrow...
1 to 1 tomorrow at 9.30 am.
RK can you remind us, have you been invited to attend one of these corporate governance sessions alongside other shareholders, or have you got a one-on-one chat with Twigger lined up? It would be interesting if you were able to find out what it is that the company is discussing or being asked about by other institutional holders, rather than just being given a slot in which to put your own questions to them. When are you meant to be speaking to them?
Take out the top 9 trades and you're left with 83 trades worth c£18k or an average trade size of 280...
Autobots rule...the rest are semi comatose...
