BTW, the key issue with a site like 'lockdownsceptics' is that they've got it all backwards.
The logical person considers the evidence and then arrives at conclusions, not the other way round.
Now you're being the silly sausage again Seb.
As you well know, a considerable proportion of this company is in the hands of PIs.
BTW, well-run companies tend to run themselves.
Deeply misguided IMHO.
Goodnight.
Great stuff WedME.

Good Evening,
Within two weeks, two million students will return / start University across the United Kingdom. The upcoming surge in infections will no doubt increase hospital admissions and ultimately increase the daily death rate. Only today University College London closed some departments due to a Covid 19 outbreak. This is happening even when Universities are running at a very limited capacity and without many foreign students in the Country yet. I fear this is only the start for the second wave. I can see no reason why the Government will not back SNG001 unless there is a potential conflict with vaccine uptake . I would suspect most people would prefer an inhaler than a rushed vaccine, certainly within the younger community.

So lets get it out there and save lives."
Perhaps someone good at drafting an article could send a letter to all the mainstream media to 'put it out there'!
Perhaps we should all be contacting out local MPs - I already have!
WedME...many thanks for your great post/input/links...much appreciated...
You said...'I think the point can be made that production is already well underway as RM made the point of saying 'commercial partners', (as in current partners) and might very well be the next news we receive.'
If you strip away everything...the one big question has to be...why would SNG push the button on production with commercial partners if they didn't have some sort of guarantee they would be legally saleable and I don't think he was talking production levels to support a Phase 3 Trial. It all seems to point to 'a nod in the right direction'....with the promise of...
Pharmas will want both...vaccines and treatments...
Boris has lost all his mojo since his brush with Corona.
He seems unable to lead and is now controlled by his “experts” who all have their own agendas.
What gives me hope is that despite synairgen being a tiny company spun off from Southampton University, the scientists involved are highly respected and will have the ear of the likes of Chris Whitty and Patrick Vallance. I've seen numerous minutes of meetings involving both Vallance and Holgate for example... and sure government ministers tend to kowtow to big pharma but this is not normal times. I think Boris will be focused on himself and his legacy right now, not keeping his pals happy.

What can go wrong is major pharma’s lobbying with politicians and the members of SAGE in their pay.
To buy big pharma isn’t a risk for politicians and SAGE even if it doesn’t work. The vaccines are being funded with billions of our money by the government as that’s what the media want and the politicians follow the media like sheep.
I remember what happened on magicc Monday. The SP rose to 240p then suddenly trolls appeared in their droves and trading went NT all the way down to 160p then they vanished and you could buy once again. It was a very co-ordinated attack and has happened since. Just something to be watchful for here.
The risks are, we wont be approved.. a better treatment is discovered while we havent been approved etc the sp is around 300m mc for a reason, we have minimised our risks dramatically but we arent fully there yet.. the last, but most rewarding part is the approval, if we get that, then we are golden!
Nice work wedme. Im beginning to think I'll only read this board on a Sunday. Its full of trolls and idiots Mon to Fri. GLA.
I think things could just start to snowball here.....perfect climate..............!
We are sitting on a goldmine.......!!
That's a very good point, DaveW58. Transverse myelitis is directly linked to an over-activation of the immune system and is why it is seen in so many autoimmune diseases where the body literally attacks itself causing organ and tissue damage - such as lupus. It also happens to be the exact same over-activation response seen with Covid-19 patients. And why IV interferon beta is used slow the spine degradation in MS. I think in light of the new research, which warns of an over-activated immune response occurring from a potental vaccine, the link is certainly there. And possibly why there are still concerns regarding the AZ trial in the US.
Hi Tonlin
Sorry I’ve only just read your post as I’ve been out for my daily 5 miles and left the phone at home.
I am fit and well thank you, and trust that you are also?
I don’t hold a lot of shares here but that’s only because I have so much invested in the other company and can’t bring myself to sell any of them given the current SP and the probability that at long last the next 7-10 months will finally see them come good, but, I really believe that SNG will get fast track approval and that the SP here will be multiples of the current price.
See you on the dark side when the next quarterly results are announced ;-)
Dave... The trial has resumed.. I too was curious to find an explanation as that is a very serious condition
that can cause paralysis. A Dr. interviewed on SKY News said they could never be sure if it was
the vaccine or not...but she did say over the last 2 decades there had been incidences of TM caused
by vaccines........!! Apparently if no other patient has shown a similar reaction at this stage then
that is considered a good enough reason to continue....... Personally I think the trial conditions
are flawed....We are mostly wearing masks, socially distancing, using sanitisers...so a much
reduced chance of anyone on the trial coming into contact wit the virus....That must surely
inhibit the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of the drug.....Therefore how reliable is
the data..................Surely they would all have to knowingly be exposed to the virus for a definitive
result????
Thank you for your work here Wedme, excellent work. Fingers crossed we will be getting an update this week.
Wedme,
Many thanks for undertaking and posting such valuable research.
One thing struck me whilst reading it was the pausing of the AZ vaccine trial which was as a result of one patient developing transverse myelitis which is an inflammatory syndrome that affects the spinal cord . I was wondering if your researched articles might explain this reaction as it explicitly mentions vaccines and if so, then the safety and viability of vaccines might be brought into question. I don't think I've seen any follow up or explanation given to the pausing of the trial.
Great research and many thanks for posting.
Glad you all enjoyed it. After all the great posts by several members in here, including our resident master detective pmjh, I was more than happy to return the favour and take the time to do it.
I think this information - together with all the recent information that this board has produced - points towards an imminent emergency approval. Regardless of a persons political beliefs it's clear that the UK government, and the rest of the world, need something desperately to calm people, especially after yesterday's antivaxx/lockdown protests in London, and to combat this virus in the upcoming weeks and months as we now enter flu season with record numbers of new Covid-19 infections and no vaccine or highly effective treatment available.
They, rather luckily, have the answer sitting right in their laps with SG001. And all the new studies seem to back it up which certainly makes the case for an emergency approval even stronger.
Another thing is that the study shows that even people with a low viral load and an asymptomatic infection could still suffer long term lung and organ damage from the underlying chronic over-activation of their immune system, and suppression of interferon beta, without knowing until months later when it is too late and that in itself is rather terrifying - and something I was worried would eventually be discovered - which again further shows the need for this drug.
I think the point can be made that production is already well underway as RM made the point of saying 'commercial partners', (as in current partners) and might very well be the next news we receive.
In any case after seeing all the great information this board has produced I am very happy with my investment here and think we are in for a very exciting time ahead with a way to finally effectively combat this virus, and also get a great return on our investments.
Two birds with one SG001 stone.
Have a great day everyone
Thank you Wedme and tornadoT excellent posts, Shall digest on a walk through Yorkshire Dales...
Thanks for sharing that research WedMe. Surely all the parts are fitting together now to ensure this drug gets out there ASAP to save lives.
So technically Facebook was right - it's all because of chemicals and we need to take natural remedies.
(This is a joke.)
Thanks WedME.
