Hey, dumbpunter is back, all sad after terrible summer of losses.
Anyway, I posted this last time he trolled this forum and it seems remarkably appropriate to do so again....
It's deja vu, I posted this in June in a thread which was subsequently pulled.....
Dumbpunter you are either stupid or a liar.
Anyway, this is a good excuse to post a link to outstanding Lancet peer review, just in case anyone thinks dumbpunter isn't stupid or a liar.

Yes, GLA.
I did not give up mate. I am still invested and looking forward to a successful trial. I was honest in my apprehensions considering the delay and surrounding situations with regards to vaccine. I did not respond as people start doubting anyone who says anything less positive. So I chose not to indulge in any further arguments. thanks for all the responses with stats and convictions. Hope we all win.
OOps a not missing
and that should not be prescribed to those who do not have a marked reduced lung capacity.
No, he has none at all. But he's much better than yesterday's guy who posted once, got called out and gave up.
At least he has some perseverance, if a little lacking in truths.
It's failed in two previous trials (why)- --------
First trial on 100 patients was a success. The second trial delineated where it should be prescribed for use back in April and that being patients on oxygen with breathless symptoms and that should be prescribed to those who do not have a marked reduced lung capacity. Knowing when to treat patients is immensely valuable to a prescribing clinician.
It was not given emergency approval last year--------
Instead the MHRA helped guide what they needed from a phase 3 trial and this reduced the numbers of patients required for the study and accelerated the process. Officials last year were more interested in vaccines and the delta variant and further mutations arrived later.
Because it did not reduce hospitalisation----------
It reduced length of stay in an ICU unit by 2 days on average which is incidentally is the same cost as the therapy when compared to placebo although the current study to be reported on gives far better health economic and efficacy profile.
And there were lots of side effects so bad that several patients abandoned the trial- Where is the evidence to support this comment as I found none anywhere with respect to the administration method used by the Synairgen treatment.
Interferon is very time critical in its administration and patient specific - that is why a stage 3 trial was done so that the specification for prescribing is well understood and its application in the covid-19 therapy tool kit is well understood.
You have no credibility here Dumb, much like JWD.
So dumb, as you say there's a 20% chance of approval and 10p becons on that result, surely you would open a short position? Please open one
Did I just read that someone has invested 50% of their pension fund in an AIM stock…….wow, that’s a new one.
I also didn’t realise that SNG was created to be a COVID treatment originally. Oh wait, it wasn’t.
Got to love these boards sometimes. Still, each to their own and rightly so.
Dumbpunter I remember you from last year. Didn't you sell at 80-something pence after buying higher?
You were full of remarkable insights like this:
"There will be [a vaccine] but not this winter and it won't be 100% effective. Even once a vaccine is available there will be such demand for treatment for COVID and flu treatment that Synairgen will be hard pushed to keep up supply."
-Dumbpunter, 22nd July 2020.
Dumbpunter!
Lovely to see you, it must be short SNG day.
Hope all goes well.
Obviously RM has seen data and it makes perfect sense they're tweeting away knowing impending doom is near...Not!
So half your pension fund is 65% down at HE1, no wonder you're bitter.
I don't get what you hope to achieve other than making yourself feel worse by highlighting bad decisions ?
20% chance based off what? Break it down
20% odds of success. Even after this? "And there were lots of side effects so bad that several patients abandoned the trial"
I would say it has no chance based on what you are claiming.
Dumbpunter have we all missed something, has Coronavirus gone away? Please let us know.
If you follow the news, you will see interferon has been given emergency use in some countries and where has it failed?
I tend to agree with the other (more informed contributors) that your intention is to talk down Synairgen, good luck with that.
Polly have 32 million pounds at stake, or you can listen to a man called dumb, you decide...
Dumbpunter - I can't tell if your stupid or been told to put out an agenda. Or both.
Well, wishful thinking?
So why don't you explain how you concluded it won't be approved?
You also thought you had a winner on HE1 and was bragging about your 9p average.. hey ho
Ayyy, all the derampers are back! That's got to be a good sign ;)
Telling us we've missed the boat but good luck.. you really have to laugh at this individual..
'Only the unloved hate'
I will be glued to the commentary on Thursday and expect there will be an RNS just before or after the meeting. Expectations are high and rightly so.
Hopefully the UK government will change stance once the data is in as we know SNG001 saves lives and it is the ultimate catalyst to getting things back to normality for all seasons. You don't overwhelm your healthcare system if you can treat people at home and you don't have to vaccinate kids if you can treat the elderly if/when they become infected.
