1945 joke apologies to any Americans reading this. Actually I remember the Americans on my road after the war. They were billeted here. I used to ask them " Have you got any gum chum?" and they duly obliged........so I actually do like them. No offence ! Good luck all
It would be great if a juicy Rns was dropped this afternoon and the sp goes south of 4 quid. Free will

That was the Grand old Duke of York not the current one who is apparently hiding up in Scotland :)
friendly side bet Doc, I bet 176p will be breached (after close ) before any official news drops
175 was tested early doors today. Don’t be surprised to see it tested again later on this afternoon.
This isn’t a purely technical price action IMO. The avalanche of evidence on interferons continues to accumulate, combined with competition being dumped out of trials, each day brings us closer to Activ news, these factors could well explain an eventual breakout…
Yawn… up to 175p and down again! As said many times previously by me and others, until we hear news on the trials, this will be range bound.
wyndrum, yes it either will or it won't. However I wouldn't describe the odds as 50/50. Pro's will be selling chunks at 175p resistance expecting a retrace, amateurs will be buying at that level expecting a breakout. The pros are the ones making money on a more regular basis, that's for sure. The odds are always stacked against a breakout, that's why when it actually happens it's usually spectacular. I'm happy just holding and seeing what happens. Bought some more yesterday, so happy enough with it looking perky.
Perfect precis Matterhorn :-)
Wyndrum, it's not 50/50. You are mistaking outcomes with probability. It is a binary choice, yes or no but we don't know what the probability is.
HelloSanDiego - you referenced 1 million and then said you’re not sure whether it’s doses or treatments. The only time when 1 million was mentioned without reference to doses or treatments was in the MRC animation from a few weeks back so I automatically thought that is what you’re referring to. It was confirmed by Prof Sir Holgate via the MRC that the 1 million referred to doses and that would be per month.
dunk1973 - I believe the MRC animation used 1 million because it’s a nice rounded figure. The company forecasts were to be ready to produce 100k treatments per month. Doesn’t matter whether it’s 70k or 100k per month Synairgen will be ready to produce the goods. They’ve done the ground work.
Phil, its a 50/50 chance of going through 175p (it either will or it wont), the trick is what are the odds of it going through and progressing further.
No, Richard Marsden used the word "treatments". I transcribe the interviews for my notes so I know that's correct.
April 30th 2021, Numis interview with Paul Cuddon: "On the drug product manufacturing we've got an aim to be able to produce 100k treatments per month..."
That's what led to the discussion on here as to whether that meant doses or courses. I don't think it was resolved.
So approx 71k treatments per month?
Thats trust we can use these doses/treatments soon.
1m doses. Not treatments.
Although the production schedule has slipped a bit from December 2020, the company still had enough cash to produce over a million treatments (although it was unclear whether that meant doses or courses).
I don't think there's any chance of a fundraise at anywhere near this price imo.
If it gets through 175p it could well rerate. Think it has a genuine chance this time, after quite a few previous failures.
Cash might be required if the company is able to sell more of its product. I do not see a problem because if the company is in a position to sell its treatment, then essentially Synairgen has succeeded in the final trials. If the treatment cannot be sold, then probably no cash requirement
Regards
Could see a massive re-rate Monday morning
I cant see cash being needed yet surely after the 80 m raise
SP like a pressure cooker, if any positive news arrives, I suggest we all take cover.
Good weekend all.
