Oak where are these discussions on Reddit? I see the articles but no discussions...
As for this data, which has to be critically analysed. As it's from medical trials. This is checked by medical professionals running the trials, of which so far is going well. This is needed for drug approval EMA and MHRA.
So far the efficacy is great, but we can't extrapolate a lot of information with such a small study.
Need population in the 1000's really. We will see.
This currently not powered this study, but regardless the good trial outcome will create positive movements at this stage.
There is a lot of hurdles.
The main winner will be if this is fast tracked because of covid. To get a licence
@shpunken just checked im defo looking at sng sp. company has dropped in value of the last few months feel free to track the sp.
I’m not bashing the company. I’m heavily involved here however just fed up with lack of news.
I think most investments are a gamble at times with the amount of curve balls. You have to believe people aren't manipulating the truth in announcements.
The UK government at the moment is proven yet nothing is being done about it. Is the underhanded contracts going out to friends internal and across the water. Like people have pointed out. It's suspicious certain things have gone under the radar. People making the most of a crisis I don't know, but I don't trust them as far as I could throw them and he's a lump.
If this was 50 50 gamble, then do u think some company would invest 5% last week. Some people on here makes me laugh. If u think 50% chance then sell up.
Watching the sp decrease every week? You must be looking at a different company then... is it organised bashing time again from our resident professionals lol
@Everton222 - with respect, you are taking absolute nonsense. I know Everton have discussed a new ground for the last 15 years so I accept you may have patience however to suggest there is no sense of urgency is just BS! We have had no news since 15 February from the company and therefore we have no idea how the company is progressing.
Watching the SP decrease every week is not fun without any news, we deserve news and RM is either playing a blinder or struggling to obtain news. The company should be giving us news so we can make an informed decision on what is or is not happening.
If you believe in the science and I have no idea what sector you work in, please tell me why the UK government or any other government has not placed an order?
As a LTH myself, I am starting to get annoyed with the lack of updates. This has now become a 50-50 gamble.
News is due in Q2 we are currently at Day 20. I’m waiting patiently, there is not a sense of urgency for me at the moment. I believe in the science and the product.

Thanks for the links - yes they may be easy reporting as some have said - but they provide direct links to other pages including the New York one to Synairgen's own webpages, and on that point, we now always see Synairgen's name somewhere in the news comments.
As a shareholder, it's certainly a little uncomfortable right now - when probably most of us are thinking "why didn't I sell up or at least top-slice ?". I had originally forecast mid to late February for the positive news I'm still convinced will be forthcoming - but that was based on trials starting 10 weeks earlier than they did.
So, in a nutshell and nailing my colours to the mast - add 10 weeks - news imminent (oops we're have I heard 'imminent' before ??) within the next 3 weeks.

This is silly, Scinv has provided the link proving Synairgen was included in this publication last August 2020
Open your browser and enter the following link in full (It will show you the original publication naming SNG and shows publication date Aug 20):

Any discussions stating anything to the contrary are incorrect - FACT!
Thanks for clarification Oak.
Fruits, this has been discussed on Redditt and it is current.
No worries, :)
Agreed it wasn't on the original as far as I'm aware but we were added sometime in late 2020 from memory
DPC, sorry I get what you're saying now. When I said it has been recently updated what I meant is since that tracker was first published in the NYT, ie earlier in 2020. I've been reading the NYT (and the tracker since they first started publishing it) and I'm sure SYnairgen was not on their original list which had some dozen or less (?) candidates listed. Apologies if the mistake was mine on exactly when, but great news as the NYT has a good readership.
I can't see what's being said Fruits but go easy on them, must have been hard news for them to swallow, would explain why the rampant de-ramping ceased for a brief period.
And under the para where Synairgen mentioned, it states ‘updated March 1st’. That wasn’t March 2020 because half those drugs weren’t in trial then. It’s this year.
@Fruitsneg, yes the NYCT article is what I'm referring to, Interferons have been on that tracker since 2020, I've seen it a few times.
Look at the update the article under the interferon section 'Updated March 1', so even the update has been there a little while now (Nearly 2 months).
DPC1825, not the BBC article, I was referring to the NYT tracker that Syngold posted link to. It was originally a pretty short list, not very comprehensive compared to others, which is why I gave up checking it regularly.
@Fruitsneg we have actually been on there since last year!
And the truth is that is has been there for a while.
Here is a snapshot from August 2020
http://web.archive.org/web/20200831023318/https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/science/coronavirus-drugs-treatments.html
That’s colossal Syngold, Synairgen has been added to the NYT tracker because I’ve been following it on and off for months and previously the list was shorter with no mention of interferons.
Don’t give the BBC too much credit. The interview with Richard used for the phase III trial was the same as the one from 20 Jul 2020.
Robert I’m sure there’s a pill for that :-).
Published yesterday in New York Times.
Nice mention about our little ol SNG001 half way down page !! Still keeping us on the radar to USA folks.
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/science/coronavirus-drugs-treatments.html
I actually think this is very lazy journalism. I think this BBC page is made up of snippets from articles I've seen them post over the last 6-12 months.
Don't get me wrong, it's good to see interferon beta getting coverage but if they had probed a bit further they could have mentioned our home trial specifically.
