Night Macosta
The purpose of tonight’s announcement was to get people to understand that this is serious and to comply with the restrictions. They were never going to ease that pressure by talking about a new treatment. And at the moment that treatment only has results from 100 people on a phase 2 trial. An expedited phase 3 trial will be watched by all of Prof Holgate’s friends and then watch how fast approval happens. This is all going on behind the scenes, don’t be fooled by the lack of public acknowledgement, especially by politicians.
I agree with the comments. Have always been quite accepting of our timelines and have been here since Jan. I am not a medical expert, so I accept my comments are my own and not those of an expert. If a vaccine can get to market in a matter of months, then it strikes me the risk of IfB that has been around a lot longer must be somewhat accepted. I would hate to imagine a situation where treatments are used with no understanding of the risks, but I also think SNG001 is one of the very few treatments available that might just save you from a very, very bad medical issue. If it was a case of hope v no hope, then for me it would be.a very easy decision. Frankly, I would want my local chemist to be able to dispense it, and quickly. Every day now I hope that SNG gets the green light for an exceptional approval. We need something that gives hope at a time when all the other predictions look very scary. If you were going into battle would you ever turn down something that has been proven to help, even on a small scale. If it was that....or nothing.....I know what I’d take. GLA and stay safe.

With all respect I am sure there are 100% of Tories are aware of SNG most of even shrewd enough to have shares .Most of us are just frustrated by the fact that lives are being lost in the meantime Where is the Magnanimity of our Gov what are they fearful of .If our drug fails they still got dexamethasone etc treatment . If SNG successful s after P3 trials then people might asked why wasn't this treatment fast tracked sooner to save hundreds or more lives ,How will Borris Chris and Patrick the respond to that ?question ?
Everyone deserves at least one shot at redemption! Bravo monsieur Herb Vert :)
Hi Mattw007 sadly quite apt today.
From the excellent info unearthed here over the last few days barring a reversal of the earlier trial results ( which is almost unthinkable ) I couldn’t be more confident.
Too many snippets pointing towards this beast being on a roll, gathering mass and momentum. Make me as confident as I can be this will happen in a big way.
Once efficacy is accepted it should only take one country, pretty much any country to push the button and other nation states will follow. Then you have questions about potentially satisfying The resulting demand. But again regards this I am confident SNG have and will continue to find the partnerships to make this happen until the ‘inevitable ‘ comes knocking. :)
mattw007.....
His name is Steve Baker.....he might be interested in the benefits that SGN could bring to alleviating full lockdowns.....

mattw007....
The Tory who fronted the ERG during Brexit is championing a new group opposing lockdowns.....can’t think of his name at the moment....will come to me hopefully....

Sadly Pressure can only help SNG.
Whitty taking about science stepping up including treatments coming to the fore but still Dexamethasone and vaccines all Mr Vallance wants to talk about.
Massive pressure across the globe must surely focus the response. Yo - Yoing in and out of lockdown is a blunt unsustainable measure that also causes massive collateral damage. It buys a small amount of time but it is not a solution to anything.
Pressure is building day by day. The solution to any kind of normality is effective treatment as soon as viably possible IMHO.
The market value of such a treatment is beyond me, a world without it doesn’t bear thinking about.
