Nickel, as regards vast you were right (and I was wrong!) about the recent placing although I still expect to double my money in the short term! Still confident there will not be a placing here (cobre meets day to day running costs), rather the BoD will eventually sort a JV for LCCM to generate a second source of income. Time will tell...
Dvharrison - with respect, you have some cheek pointing the finger after all your ramping on VAST at 20 when I said a placing was coming and you shouted me down. What happened shortly after .... a placing at 0.16! Otherwise, all good with you :)
Djryan - it's not a case of not wanting to do one at £6m market, they will need to if they are to get this business of the ground. They cannot get anywhere with below £300k
Just dropped in briefly to see if anything is happening (which it isn't!) and see our resident deramper calling another placing. Nickel, you're not invested and you're getting pretty boring so, hey I know its pretty original, but why not infest a bb of a company/BoD that you respect and think will make you some money? Just a thought....
Bitcoinbuyer - thank you :)
I cannot buy for the reasons already outlined. I'd be looking over my shoulder for that placing which I know will come. I admire your dedication but don't get why you don't participate in that fundraise instead. In the meantime you could push those funds around else where.
I like you now Nickel and fully understand your point of view.
The thing is ' I am a believer' , in the projects the value this represents and the future it holds.
You want to get in now , if you leave it any longer you will not be able to jump high enough to grab onto my shirt tails !
Good news is coming , cannot you not feel it ?
Are get it now Brewdog !
With you being name being bitcoinbuyer thought you were doing a play on words with sat in caps
Like pennies make £1...... sats make a bitvoin
Bitcoinbuyer, your comment : "I am sure the BOD read this board everyday and I am certain they are well aware and will have taken account of each and every comment"
Do you really want the BoD constantly flickering through all the pages on this forum? Surely they should be cracking on with the job in hand, trying to sort the mess out?
The reason SML isn't moving is because it's cash strapped. Less than $300k in the coffers which means one slip up and they're in big trouble. The market know's there's no growth story, no ability to get anywhere without cash. What they need to do is raise before the share price gets much lower.
Forgive me Brewdog SAT and Sats I do not understand ?
SAT nice bitcoinbuyer
But don't think the BOD have time to read BB
They should be busy getting Leigh Creek online for next year
Meanwhile I'm sat hodling my Sats and even earning 6% on some of it
Love checking out how much interest I've earned when I have breakfast in the morning :)
First, the raise would be equivalent to our current market-cap and, second, the trial production process proved its workability - except the BoD had decided to extract and produce from another area.
Prop. If it was a matter of money to get LCCM working we could fund it from shareholders and go solo but no one has proved that the mine will actually work, hence the stagnation of the SP. Money is not the problem.
Just imagine if the Brenda-gate legal process managed to find us just the right amount of cash for LC - we then go solo, baby!
Sorry for the late reply , a couple of days of manual work for a change.
Feel much better for it and actually deserve a beer at the end of the day.
I fully understand what you are trying to achieve Blacksheep and fully understand why.
My honest opinion : I think a shareholder group is going to more of a hindrance that a success.
I am sure the BOD read this board everyday and I am certain they are well aware and will have taken account of each and every comment.
I also believe they are working behind the scenes as best they can with the shareholders best interests in mind.
There is no doubt the SP is stagnant at the moment , the share price reflects the lack of news and clarity of the BOD's next move.
My take on this is we have 2 good projects , 2 popular resources which are increasing in demand and price.
We are however in uncharted waters with Covid. I am referring to it as a lost year.
The corporate world are on a 2 day week and we are SAT in front of our PC's all day getting depressed about the SP
We all need to take a step back and give the board an opportunity to show us what they have got.
I would not be surprised if we get a cracking RNS soon rocketing the SP back up where it should be.
This will come good over the next 6 months Blacksheep and all will be forgiven
My glass is always half full and if you believe good things will happen they often do.
Take a few hours out and watch Abraham Hicks on You tube ' The law of Attraction ' and' Flow down stream '
Change your attitude the the company and the BOD .
Imagine if we all did it all that positive energy moving Redmoor and LC into Production and finding another bulk buyer for the Magnetite and Brenda's official receiver finding us $21m she has hidden from the powers to be.
Just Imagine. ..................

Also just to say, my experience of a shareholders group is where our 4p has gone from 4p and near bankruptcy to 40p today, not saying it’s because of us but we have very sensible conversations amongst ourselves a bit of fun and have a good relationship with the BOD! That might be luck but it’s been a bloody good experience.
Entirely your decision of course! Like I said earlier I’ve no interest in our group being disruptive, if I felt it was a lost cause I’d have sold my shares! I’m interested in seeing Sml well above 2.5p again not trying to start a fight!
My recent email exchange with JP has left me very disappointed and the only conclusion I have come up with is they are happy to treat investors like mugs. The last two RNSs contained misleading statements and figures, they tried to fudge it with the replacement RNS but it still wasn't correct.
Blacksheep, I haven't because of experience last year with another Company, where the Management weren't going to be budged from their lifestyle Managing. Ended up with EGMs, many investors in the group couldn't sell during the voting and after the second one the Company got an email from an Australian liquidator (Companies can appoint a liquidator to a company that owes them money in Aus), AIM suspension and then all Aussie assets were liquidated, Company couldn't do anything about it and shareholders were royally shafted. Not saying this would happen here but my experience of shareholder groups has been if shareholders feel they have to go down that path, then it is possibly already too late to change the direction of Management.
Hawkmoon,
We are at 6.753%, Bitcoin would take us to 8.4%, and there are lots of regular posters on here who haven’t shown an interest yet, for whatever reason, I’m not sure!!
So, Blacksheep15, how much of the company's share total does out little group of investors hold at the last count? :-)
Sammy, As always, gentlemanly of you to respond.
Morning Bitcoinbuyer, I think you may have misunderstood the purpose of the shareholder group. It is to gain a voice and interact with the BOD in a positive manner that helps move the company (and of course the SP) forward. i have no interest in trying to remove any of the BOD, as whatever some on here may think, we do not know the detail, and lets not forget a lot of what is posted on here is by people with an ulterior motive that is against SML.
Let me put it this way, if you were the BOD, would you be more likely to respond to a request from me with 12 million shares or a request from a shareholder group with the backing of circa 200 million shares (10% of the company)??
One final point is that irrespective of whether this shareholders group gets off the ground, it will never affect you ability to contact the company direct. I'll admit here i've always found JP and PW very responsive and helpful in my conversations with them, i have no gripe with them, i do have a serious problem with the SP, which is fundamentally the issue.
regards
BS15
Prop - I agree with your post from last night.
