3 RNSs full of good news ... hopefully this now gets the momentum we've been waiting for since December.
Popped in here to see reaction to the RNS but board is silent even though it's a cracker - clearly been holding back the good stuff to underpin the NASDAQ launch.
SLN360 approval, SLN124 dosing, second target milestone payment... Should fly on this news.
Great to see SLN listed on Nasdaq now ... same ticker ... know it’s not live/trading yet ... but just good to see it must be very close!
Hopefully the dual listing gives the UK shares a boost in terms of volumes and then price.
Agree ... it’s as dodgy as you get. No one takes much notice as it’s on AIM ... surely once it’s on Nasdaq (hopefully next week) the trading on both exchanges will be scrutinised.
Wow. The SP has been fixed today to drop the price for a very large 0.5m GBP BUY at 5pm is. Funny how small trades drive the price down then a 1 trade and 3 trade at 430pm...followed by the buying action at a 5% discount. Does anyone ever go to jail over this price manipulation...think I will report it to the listing regulators.
That is very good news, 1GW ... let's hope they can keep to that schedule. We need the US volumes to get a good run going ...
Sorry - a week today, not tomorrow!
The listing is almost upon us, if it goes to schedule. They expect it to begin trading on the Nasdaq on Tuesday (a week tomorrow), after the Labor Day holiday. In the F-1 filing they stated:
"We have applied to list American Depositary Shares, or ADSs, each representing three ordinary shares of Silence Therapeutics plc, on the Nasdaq Capital Market, or Nasdaq, under the symbol “SLN”. The ADSs are expected to begin trading on Nasdaq on September 8, 2020. "
The date could still change, since the document is subject to completion - the SEC needs to declare the registration "effective" and I would expect the "EFFECT" filing to happen on Friday (probably at the US close) if it is still running to plan.

Morning all, Zak Mir seems to be a guru on the LSE/AIM markets. Any other gurus to follow or any Telegram groups or Discord channels that are good for UK stocks? I’m heavy US and keen to divest and get in to UK market but needs some stock tips to then do my own research. At the moment I’m only long SYME, SLN, CASP and AMGO Thank you all.
I must admit that I thought the news would have had more impact on the share price. Hopefully we will see more in the not to distant future. GLA especially those that need the science.
ETX announced a deal with Galapagos.
Ali talks through that here - but also talks a bit about RNAi from 3,35 to 5. Deal here a strong possibility.

Edison issues update on Silence Therapeutics (SLN)
The year 2019 marked a major turnaround for Silence, as it both ramped up its development activity, with the advancement of SLN124 for iron overload and SLN360 for cardiovascular disease, and made massive partnering efforts. We have seen the fruits of this business development in the form of three partnering deals with major pharmaceutical companies Mallinckrodt, Takeda and AstraZeneca. Together all these efforts demonstrate the value of the company's siRNA platform and intellectual property.
Our valuation for Silence is largely unchanged at £461.2m or 558p/share, following a slight adjustment of less than £1m (£461.9m or 559p previously). This adjustment is due to slightly lower expected revenue from the Onpattro royalty stream, based on the company's reports (£73k in 2019). We expect the company to require £85m (up from £80m, and recorded in 2023) in additional capital to reach profitability in 2027.
Ha
I just came over here for the same reason.
I am ETX holder and was wondering the same.
4.6% is noticeable.
ETX is a hold for me - but might have a small speculative buy in SLN just incase we are joining up the dots correctly.

Any of you guys or gals care to give an opinion as to why Robert Quested is taking a position in ETX - E-therapeutics?
Does it fit SLN's profile?
Thnaks in advance.
Results are out Got. It is a good read.

April 9.
Volcano. I haven't got a clue what is going on with SLN shares. Opened at 490.00 presumably on the RNS about the tie up assisting another company to make to make COVId test kits at cost price. After a couple of small buys it went down to 458.00?.I have checked the numbers on LSE SLN page and it says that volume today has been 245.915.On the opposite column it says that there was 40k worth of buys and 30k worth of sells. How can a SP drop to 442.00 on 58 trades amounting to 70k.? The good news about the tie up with A/Z hasn't changed so whats going on.I came back into SLN after watching the previous two weeks debacle on the AIM with strong shares dropping like stones but SLN just sitting there through it all moving up a bit falling a bit but no drama. Then the big rise after the A/Z RNS I thought looks bright for SLN lets have a go.The SP went up 25p the day I bought but since then its been a dog.I've looked everywhere but I can't find any change in the fundinmentals to justify the crazy swings, mostly south.Am I missing something here, the frustrated Gotmiester.
