Good old BS. you didn't read my post, obviously. In a situation like this, within the current oppressive regulatory environment on AIM, there is simply no such thing anymore as 'appeasing the NOMAD'. Every word in an RNS like today's has to vetted and substantiated before any NOMAD would dare allow the company to release it. The wrath of the regulator is just not worth the 60k or so a year the NOMAD is getting. Trust me on that
QF- Yes the RNS seems to have been written more to appease the nomad than for us shareholders - roll on end of march 2024 then?
Just to remind you all that none of the regular trolls holds any stock in San Leon. you have to ask yourselves what they're about posting here almost daily? the only possible answer is that they work for a long/short fund and part of their job description is to post negatively about any stocks the fund are shorting. now i have absolutely no problem with the principle of shorting which is all part of a healthy functioning market but you need to remember what these guys are about, in other words you can't trust a single word they write -:)
What more do you need at this point, Retired? Given the complexity of the transaction and the difficulties with Triam and the period of silence as you reference, this update could have been way worse, imv. First you have to accept that given the length of suspension so far, that the NOMAD will necessarily be holding a gun in one hand and a microscope in the other in their comms with the Company. The first in order to make sure a full update was provided and the latter to scrutinise any and all claims made in today's release. With that in mind, despite the cynicism here dialled up to 11, I think you have to accept that the RNS's most important contention - that this latest deal is likely to close by this month-end - is in fact the most likely outcome for the Company, and for that, we should all be encouraged. In other words, there is next to 0 chance that the Company could include a statement like, '....I am confident that the difficulties of this past year will soon be behind us as our forthcoming Refinancing will enable us to fulfil our long-held strategy of becoming the majority shareholder in ELI....' without significant, credible evidence provided to a NOMAD who is, by definition, going to be on hyper-'SHOW ME' mode. Like it or not, that is at present, now shareholders' highest probability outcome and, as I said already, the message in today's release could have been far, far worse than that. Also, I honestly thought the creditor section, again given how long this has dragged out, would necessarily have had a far more negative tone to it with the Company having to reveal some more dramatic actions taken by a creditor or 2. Instead, reading between the lines a bit, I honestly felt that the RNS portrayed a more 'relaxed' creditor base than one might have reasonably expected, ie., lending more credibility to the overall confidence from management that this latest deal will in fact close soon.
Perhaps just my perception but the RNS seems to have been written in a different style to before and, dare I say it, more honest and clear.
Yes, but accounts not done for another 2 months, then relisting can happen - three months away. Might as well just go on holiday. I'd still like to know what the story was with the original financing.
So! it all happens after the financing is completed at the anticipated date of end of march 2024!
I think cd is right, wow.
have never seen such silence after an update like this. Where are all the rompers?
I think we're allowed a "wow" at this point. I don't think capitals are appropriate, nor any exclamation marks. Just "wow".
But samalarik i thort you is a sharehulder
Usual garbled nonsense from 36800. ignoring for the moment that the application to the court is for a 'Norwich Pharmacal order' i've never seen it used for alleged market manipulation and doubt he even knows what that is. what a complete waste of space he is. just to remind readers none of the trolls hold any shares in San Leon .
Contact them then 68 then every shareholder of any company in the whole world who buys in at one price obviously wants his investment to go up( u obviously don't) and then sell at a given time....your post is crackers and extremely stupidly flawed ...dream on fool ..
Quite an admission that Sam245. It could be argued that you appear to be part of a team talking the share up, across multiple websites, and then selling, waiting for the inevitable fall to buy back in and starting the process again. It is blatant that you spend a lot of your time and a great deal of effort talking this share up.
This confession along with your other 500 posts extolling the benefits of investing in San Leon Energy could be interpreted as market manipulation, a perfectly valid reason to seek a Norwich Pharmaceutical order. Then there are the 1400 similar posts from Alaric, (on this board alone), that may, by default, be drawn into any investigation.
You should be wary of the potential of an NP being sought, especially as It would be for criminal activity and not for tort, far more damaging to anyone's future as such prolific consistency could lead to incarceration.
Afraid, wow you are so thick, you get free shares when you sell high and buy in lower with your profit that cost you nowt of course...Afool is u...

Seplat a company registered on the UK and Nigerian markets (OF wannabe operation with Eroton) seems to be making money and producing oil out of OML 40 even though he recently had his work visa cancelled and he had to run the company indirectly from the UK.
OF unfortunately finished up in bed with the wrong crowd - Eroton.
Samalarik so you tell tales and got free shares. lol
Afool your personal opinion is just laughable as you're stupid/illiterate, but your libel/defamatory posts regarding sle and it's management sent to sle is not opinion but fact...tick tock dhead .
It is you who are the loser as no sane individual would be so stupid unless they lost big would cry about a company as you do...I don't cry as my investment here is for free..xx
Evury post samalarik make he sound moor an moor like a disgruntuld long term loosur looking for sumone else to blame fur his very very bad invesmunt desishun. Lol

You rong BS mr fanning dun very very well frum Nigeria. he actuly visited the titanic on a submarine that cost him half a million quid for a couple of days entertainment and he got a racehorse an property in dublin london an dubai.
this is not defurmashun. it public realm fact. Lol lol lol.
Amusing to read this SLE chat site with all the petty chat about the difficulties San Leon is/has/will have in Nigeria when in fact the core problem is the country Nigeria itself and is something OF can do absolutely nothing about. The country by any metric is in deep financial problems we are all arguing over the lifeboats while Nigeria sinks.
One possible solution would be to send our all-knowledgeable legal advisors, Alaric and his grandson - they who never read newspaper - on a crowd funded trip to Nigeria in order to find out what is actually happening in the Delta/Abuja/OML18 with some luck they could be there sometime.
800, read this I found regarding such a guy, he albeit was a shareholder in RRR...
Meet Gary. Gary was a small investor in listed public companies who held shares in a gold mining company RRR PLC. As an active investor, Gary used to be involved in online investment forums such as Interactive Investors.
For reasons only known to him, one day, Gary started to post defamatory posts about the company on a number of online investors’ forums. He also promoted his defamatory posts and speculative rumours via Twitter.
Over a number of weeks, Gary posted dozens of defamatory posts about the company, some of which created heated discussions about the accuracy and truthfulness of the posts, which was presumably what he had set out to do. After a while, Gary’s defamation against the company started to appear on the first page of Google search results. Even though he was a very small investor in a large gold mining company, the intensity of his comments was so high that some investors started to believe that the defamatory posts were actually true. This resulted in a decline in investment in the company and in a sharp reduction in the value of its shares.
Initially, the company took no action in relation to the defamation because the Board of Directors were yet to appreciate the potentially disproportionate damage that one small investor could cause a large PLC by posting defamatory comments on the internet. However, after they received numerous worrying messages from concerned investors, they were resolved to take action to save the company’s reputation.
It was important for the company to act immediately, yet delicately, due to the potential additional reputational damage that legal action against an investor could have caused. The company therefore chose Cohen Davis to handle the matter. Mainly, they chose us because of the unique and creative approach we take to handling online defamation matters of this nature and the due consideration and advice we give our clients in relation to reputational risks and reputational outcomes.
800, these clowns are not shareholders by their own admission, but they look for anything bad and post anything regarding sle business and it's personnel to try to damage my investment in sle they have done for years, they don't do this on any other company forum just here!!!...and as a shareholder I think in court they would look at these two as villains.
Alaric, it appears you and Sam245 have a great interest in the legal affairs of San Leon Energy, with knowledge and conviction beyond that of most ordinary investors.
I am fully conversant with the Norwich Pharmaceutical order. It can be sought for both criminal offence and tort. As you mention, there seems to be a lot of ad hominem posts against you and Sam245 and there must be reason. I am sure if needed a competent well-versed defence lawyer would find a need to apply for an NP on other posters needed as witnesses, including yourself.
Wouldn't that be most enlightening old chap?
More a case of living in hope...I've had too many go t**s up, so another loss won't kill me. There's potential here, but it looks to be on the other side of a minefield. All with hair triggers.
Tick tock assjunkie and to news soon I hope
