See now, that might hurt bs, if I wasn't pretty sure that you thought integrity was something entirely different when you posted. Come on, admit it. You just googled it, right?
bluepill - integrity intact - I very much doubt that!
some more health advice.... 'posttraumatic embitterment disorder (PTED) is a pathological reaction to drastic life events and has the tendency not to stop. The trigger is an extraordinary although common negative life event. The consequence is severe and long lasting embitterment. This disorder is distinguished not by the content of the triggering event but by the temporal connection to the critical incident. Minutes before the person was healthy, minutes later they are chronically ill and severely affected.'
I might well keel over tomorrow and never wake again, but at least I'll leave this earth with my integrity and self-respect in tact. You, not so much. #pluscachange
History / Junkie, you haven't got a genuine bone in your body, let alone any concern for others. your only concern is the need you have on a daily basis to feed the embitterment you so clearly feel about your appallingly bad investment record here. that is not me showing any concern for you but, sadly for you, it is genuine.
There you go again, all upset. I am genuinely concerned for your health.
Yeah, yeah, nice try. In your case, its not name-calling, its a forensic accounting of your travelling clown show and a necessary effort to correct the record whenever, wherever, and under whatever guise, you emerge to cough up your latest sputum. And speaking for myself, I celebrate the fact that at least I have some self-worth to diminish. You, not so much.
remember O & W from the old children's lore. one flew east and one flew west, but one flew over the cuckoo's nest. guess which one? my post on Advfn earlier: 'so just the 5 posts today from history /junkie. not quite up at charttrader levels but considering not a shareholder you have to question how weird that is. need to remember his track record of prophesying doom for san leon over about the last year has been disastrously wrong (Avobone, quarterly payments, Sun Trust, licence renewal etc) anyone foolish enough to listen to this drivel will have missed out on the significant share price gains made. so why does he keep doing it?' this endless unsubstantiated attack on San Leon by non shareholders is an utterly cynical and maliciously motivated disgrace. no regular informed readers and investors here give it the remotest credence, so beware any others: these people are just Internet trolls.
O+W, although I respect you for being open to debate, without the gutter comments that come with anonymity, nevertheless I don't agree with your optimism.
On the plus side, the oil price has held up but buttressed only by international tensions. The guarantees put in place to protect the Loan Notes I see as the only positive to credit OF. The proposal to put an FSO in place is worth consideration but raises a huge number of unanswered questions....its not just a new pipeline.
Eroton has had its debt restructured, a sign of weakness, contrary to the BS that accompanied the announcement. This will push the prospect of dividends out several years further. In common with that, Notore Chemicals which currently takes all its gas feedstock from Eroton, has also had to have its borrowings restructured.
SLE has, pro tem, enough cash to carry on for one year, without the overdue Loan Note instalments. If those were to be paid, SLE has then little further prospect of near term income, and will remain invested in a Mauritian intermediary company that is effectively bankrupt. KMPG seem to now realise that their complacence in 2016 could not be sustained and are now taking a more realistic line.
I suspect that SLE's only salvation is a huge security uptick in the oil price in order to sell out to a patsy...but I give that little chance.
CJ, have you seen what's happened to those 2 other AIM listed Nigerian oil plays, SAVP and LEK, since the Tender Offer rns in February? They have both more than halved. To remain flat in that time on balance, has been quite a feat by Sle.
And yet the fundamentals must surely have improved since then, with more limited float and shares outstanding, new well drilling, loan repayments continuing, pipeline nearer to completion, oil price remaining strong, insider buying....
Morning CJ - your pleasure that the SP keeps going down does make me still wonder...given 86%+ of the equity of the company are held by 3 shareholders, I can't for the life of me think anyone will be shorting the stock...so the drift in SP from a lovely 46p bid to 36p represents one of life's challenges...do we start to buy back those shares we sold in the tender? With Mr Fanning upping his stake and with MWP doing similar, 2 of the more 'in-touch-with-what's-going-on' investors seem very happy to be adding...so here's a thought...perhaps your daily Harry Potter dementor-driven diatribes (alliteration huh?) which continuously suck the fun out of this board (and your alter ego on ADVFN) have got the shares to a price where you can finally buy some, having missed out on the last rise? Just a thought...
And the shares keep going down......
i don't know if you go on the Advfn board at all, TimB, but we were discussing historyjunkie's multiple personality disorder. i only raise this as I was struck today by his publishing of redundant production news for our interest in OML18. it seemed strangely at odds with his repeated nonsense that we aren't a producer. i guess the neuro surgeons would tell us this kind of random inconsistency is just a sad symptom of his frightening affliction.
from what i remember of one flew over the cuckoos nest the lobotomy incurs incisions to the prefrontal cortex which is the part of the brain responsible for executive function; I guess callas and his/her avatars probably are limited to a reptilian brain, capable of basic function like breathing, lying and being abusive (seriously, google Phineas Gage), so I guess a lobotomy could have been done on that. but that may have rendered them to sea cucumber status that doesn't have a brain per say but has a "ring" of neurons with a handful of branch neurons. I hate to wish ill on the unfortunate but I cannot help relishing the thought of callas and his/her avatars in a ward with nurse ratchett - would be wonderfully just. Any wagers on for how long he/she may keep up the "SLE is not a producer" bag of ****e?
heh nice spelling qf ('incontrovertibly' is such a tricky word as well!) so front of class for you but back of class again is historyjunkie, for continuing to bore us all to death with his turgid recitation of ancient mantras from the Vedas, whilst pretending these are hot news off the press. he has already been warned by bluerill about how karma keeps coming back and biting him on the behind and making him look even sillier than normal, so this time he has to stand in the corner (facing the wall) and repeat the vedic humchant 'owatanas siam' 1000 times
"One for nurse ratched?" Incontrovertibly!
indeed, TimB, I hadn't considered that. just to be clear, you're saying that where the cranial cavity is already devoid of grey matter, it is no longer possible to perform a lobotomy? fascinating. one imagines this 'brainlessness' is quite a rare congenital condition, so i guess the odds against more than one thus afflicted to be posting on these boards at any one time must pretty high. one for nurse ratched...?
