Oh I thought you tested yourself in the morning, the result transferred to your phone app, then you scan your QR I'd in at whatever venue you are trying to enter airport, restaurant or likewise?
COVID 19 is a global problem. It needs a global methodology to deal with it. This could be it if governments will listen.
looking at 100 million units testing units?!
Once you have one negative result its recorded on a Q.O. code on your phone for 24hours,the next venue just needs to scan the code on your phone
As I understand it, a main scanner unit will be required at hot-points, such as hospitals, airports, clubs...so on and you would breathalise and scan at the scanner at these hot-points and then it would use the chip data embedded to send to your phone to give you the 24hr pass. So it's not stand-alone device as such!
Yep I see your point. IMO I think what he was trying to get across is this is going to be a new norm in daily life (going to the cinema etc) so they are making it like any part of your daily routine like brushing your teeth i.e. non invasive. Rather than some random guy having to stick a swab up your nose to be able to go on holiday.
I may be wrong, but this would be too expensive for a chunk of the population to have at their disposal but a drop in the ocean for businesses. Think AVCT's LFT pregnancy style test will be the cheap home test for mass testing
heathrow bloke would buy it
deb - from his first slide I don't think that is what this is here to do. It is predominantly for business to test customers and open up the economy (airlines/concerts/sport stadiums).
