I suppose he's not called "mad" for nothing.
To be sure. Be he's stuck in a rut, dragging himself through the ****e repeatedly without ever getting a hose down. Some of us with diverse trades could not give a f--k. I look in here now and again and I go to myself, is this gob****e still here. WTF. He has to be either paid, or have a mental health issue.
Mad Mick is a one trick pony but that doesn't make him wrong. The last 18 months
have been boom time in the South. Alot of new suppliers some run
by the better ex sig employees.More congested market that may who knows be
entering a period of slowdown.Shame is alot don't even rate them as competition.
Disgruntled fired employee.
This share not for you. 453 posts since February 21. Only one share posted on. So looking forward to reading about one you like??
And yet fart still reads the SHI forum …… total bad wind
It’s very simple. The profitability is very poor and shows no sign of a dramatic turnaround. Low/no profits equals poor share performance.
That research took me less than 10 seconds before I decided this company was not for me.
I do my own research but base it on the numbers contained in the half-year and full-year reports (as does everybody else) lol
If the recovery/turnaround plan is on track - and the half-year report of 9/8/22 said it was - the market just doesn't believe it. Is it the increase in net debt from £289m to £431m that's spooking the markets?
Insulation is future and revers.
Therefore, it is interesting to compare their results with their competitors: mainly turnover, profits, debts and assets. This both in UK and mainland.
I remain convinced that the future is insulation . Huge tur over Mick but hopefully the new management can extract some better returns..
Low profit margin on a huge turnover is the fundamental problem. This is not going to change.
It’ll be worse.
I am going to hold for better or for worse and put my faith in Blunderwoman and her Man Friday..
Its not Sig ...........the markets all over are rubbish as of Friday, the government also need to get some sort of grant package out there for insulation etc, then I think we would see a boost to Sig ,unless of course the markets remain under this blanket...........
We are told we need to insulate and make our houses more energy efficient. Not sure Sig is taking advantage of this. Seems a one way slide to the dustbin..
Lying in state..
Has the Government laid out any plans for grants etc for insulation yet?
Everybody is going to be clammering for extra insulation. I have doubled my holding and a few extras!!
Sold out mostly on Friday to spread risk a bit more.
me thinks with sterling weak and likely to eventually enter ''parity'' with the US Dollar, the idea of a bid by CD & R must be considered much more likely. What is also a factor for weak sterling, is that we cannot see how it will recover.
We will most likely see a retrace tomorrow
Noticed the same pattern with Mitie. It peaked around June last year and drifted down and then was up by 40% in a month in July this year. Will SIG follow the same pattern? I am hoping so.
short closing possibly
Crazy spiking at the moment
