Evening.

Another one for you, that's the port guide. shows traffic in the area.
May be they can't get in to Grangemouth at low tide, or wanted a rising tide or maybe no pilot available. We will never know lol.
The ship isn't captained by Geordie Munro I take it.

Come on Scotgold!
Received and replied too, thanks.
Certainly.
Hi Glen, Yes I usually walk up from Tyndrum lower along the forest Rd over the wee hill, then on the return trip I follow the Cononish road along the river down to where it meets the west highland Way and then follow that back to the station, just to vary the route. It's about 6 miles round trip and takes me an hour ish each way on a good day, A bit longer if the joints are acting up. If you decide to do it it let me know and I'll come along. I'm away 4 to 10 Sept. apart from that anytime will do me.
Regards all.
Morning all, Good points Eck.
I am an optimistic, glass half full kind of person despite the recent whinging, lol. So much so that I am continuing to make small buys. That 2000 trade this morning though showing as a sell was my buy.
Regards.
Morning all. I understand that institutions might be put off by the difficulty in building a significant stake within the current float but, as has been so obvious over the past seven-eight years, we're not on institutional radar anyway. Once there's cashflow we might start to show up on the screen, but not before. I'm confident there'll be PI buying pressure once we near production, to what extent and to what effect on the SP who knows...
More to the point, as I've said before, is that there's absolutely no incentive for the company to spend time and money supporting the SP until later in the year when they - presumably - would like to see some options exercised and therefore to see the SP sustainably above 40p. The major shareholders are in for the long term so short term SP performance is of no consequence.
If you want to go glass half full, you could infer from the general lack of interest in supporting the SP that there is no likelihood of any additional equity fundraising/dilution in the run-up to production, as if there were then a higher SP would be desirable for the major shareholders.
Do the high honchos in the company read this forum .Yayay, there is only one high honcho in this company and as he controls everything that goes on from A-Z there is no need for him to read anything. As previously said on more than a few occasions, there is not enough float out there for serious investors to make big bucks.
Evening,
hello Yayay, I do believe they read this forum, well maybe some of them. I wouldn't have written what I have if I didn't.
I have my target number number of shares if I include my options. However I have been buying small amounts of shares steadily recently, in effect as a hedge in case the share price doesn't rise enough to make the options worthwhile. I would much rather the money went to the company for the sake of a penny or two per share, but they don't seem to want it, or not enough to encourage the share price by the release of news anyway.
Regards all.
Do the high honchos in the company read this forum and see the frustration which is quite frequently expressed about the paucity of communication? If not, some individuals on here have personal contact with them and could maybe mention it?
Hello Yayay, I couldn't agree more.
Here we are, almost at production, with a share price probably about half of what it should be. I'm in here for the long haul (and a very long haul it has been so far), so the present price doesn't bother me overmuch.
Now we all know that the proceeds from Cononish are intended to fund further exploration in the area and that following that exploration the construction of a further mine/mines. The significant mining industry.
Relatively soon we will have a successful and highly profitable mine with all the proceeds being reinvested in solid prospects for the future. Unfortunately I can see a scenario where the share price is still sitting well below a pound because of the companies inability to communicate what is happening. The market will see us as a small explorer rather than extremely profitable producer who is reinvesting those profits.
Perhaps as you say, they should start employing someone who can communicate, rather than appointing gambling experts.
Regards all.
Hello Morar, it's a weakness that I've encountered time and again with AIM companies over the years. The personnel might be brilliant (even world-beating) in their respective specialisms as geologists, engineers, miners, accountants or whatever. But they are unskilled themselves at communications (why should they be any different, that's not what they are best at getting on with) and overlook the benefits of spending a few tens of grand on employing someone who is.
Here we are in our "transformational" year, hopefully a very few months from production. It had better be a few months,I have promised Mrs Baz a trip to Sheila Fleet and she is not one for forgetting a promise.
Morning,
Good point Glen(or should it be Sherlock). Thanks for your efforts.
I might try a walk up to the mine later this week, knees permitting. There might be some signs of construction works. Well one would hope so.
It's a sad state of affairs when the only way to find out whats happening is for a coffin dodger to amble about midge and cleg infested countryside in the rain.
I suspect that every attempt to provide news in the past, having been used as a stick to beat the company with by a certain paid assassin has resulted in a reluctance to feed the character information. However in my view a series of regular factual progress reports as opposed to a couple of pictures on twitter and the odd bit on proactive would do far more for the company profile and wouldn't do the share price much harm either.
Here we are in our "transformational" year, hopefully a very few months from production and what do we know about it , Jack ----!
Regards
Glen, you are super sleuth!!! Thank you for the links to a fascinating read. Roll on 30th August.
