Evening all.
Todays sea of blue (or is it yellow?) is confusing Yayay's K9 companion and doesn't feel right for Doorstop. Thank goodness for Beller's green efforts and splendid choice of lubrication. On the fifth bottle? He must have cleaned out the Green Welly Stop Shop before some thieves did last year!
Happy Haddock, biscuits for LTHs are a plenty. The Woodsmith project of SXX (now AAL) started not long after SGZ and has yet to complete shafts and tunnels, while ICL's Boulby Mine (in 60s,70s when ICI/Charter Consolidated, later AAL) took over 10years to significant production. SGZ has the lead like Champion of South Worcestershire. Other contenders in Scotland and Ireland/NI are years away!
Eck sees the potential of more mines after Cononish and as was said in episode 1 of Gold Town, “I’m working with the exploration team,” added Jason. “We’ve located where we’d like to look next and we have a permanent geology team working with us. We’ll expand our exploration efforts more this year and then hit it hard next year." There's from the horses mouth! Charlie will be busy!
Onwards and upwards, R.
A Lawntastic day, who knows I may soon be able to afford a bottle of T.G.
Afternoon.
I watched the program and quite enjoyed it. A good opener to the series.
That is a fair old rise in the share price as a result of just the first episode.
I hope the series runs as long as Coronation St.
Morar, I don’t need encouraging.:-))) Doc goes mad at me. Aaah well.
Afternoon.
Bellers, A Grasshopper ****tail must surely be worth a try.
Tyndrum gold, third bottling. Keeps the smell of the exhaust in check.:-). Cracking stuff. I’m on my fifth bottle now.
Eck, something will occur one day. It’s only a matter of time. Last time it was the chainsaw. I decided to try cutting the hedge with it. It threw the chain, which flailed across my cheek under my right eye. I felt it on the cheekbone. I raced to the window to look at the damage in the reflection......nothing but a slight pink line. Phew. Closer than close. :-( lesson learnt. Drink a bit more so you don’t feel the pain. ;-)))
Bellers this surely has to prompt a heated debate about what constitutes an appropriate alcoholic beverage to have consumed if charged with being drunk in charge of a lawn mower... it almost seems an unwritten rule of this board that people never directly discuss the actual company but go off on a tangent to confuse those checking in for the first time.
It almost seems appropriately ludicrous that it should be some sort of exotically coloured ****tail with umbrellas and sparklers, not something hidden in a hipflask!
Alcohol and mowing - what could possibly go wrong?! Nice to be drinking in celebration of a decent rise though, rather than to blot out the pain...
Happyhaddock, I can mow all day long. Stick my beatz in my ears, fire up the mower, stick the hipflask in my pocket and mow away and sing along. Bit of Tom Jones today with “ Green green grass of home” . A bit inebriated and a sing along. The neighbours are used to it and now just wave as I pass by being pulled by the mower.:-)
Bellers , maybe all us LTH should club together to hire you a groundskeeper... even if you only have small lawn, we could ensure somebody was trimming it at all times!
Lawns all done..mine and my daughters. Never fails. Up we go. Maybe I should cut all winter. Once it gets to a quid I’m buying a Ransomes ride on mower. The sp shouldn rocket then.
fingers crossed you are correct about locals being in the know and that there is a real reason for this going up now, and that it's not just some short lived response to a bit of attention from being on the telly.
Long term we all know this is worth more than the current SP, however we also know that SGZ can really take the biscuit for redefining "long term". They must eventually reach a point where they run out of new problems and delays to overcome, but given the move to a greener future do you think they may start recycling some of the old problems?
Samson , While there has been no official news of Production , Jewellers are letting it be known they will have Scottish Gold very soon. Locals know that the production crews are working , not rocket science for those bloody locals.
Steady now. Any more of this buying nonsense and we will be back over my average, and that would never do...
Why’s the price going up? Doesn’t feel right!
Very undervalued here though
You have started a crisis of confidence in me, Samson, reminding us of lawns. Now I think about it, all three of the places I've lived in since 2009 have had artificial grass. Maybe it's all MY fault!
Morning all. Watched it on the i player. What a great programme. I’m already waiting for the second one. First cut of the grass this afternoon. See what it brings.:-)))

GrumpusLOL,
Tv Coverage on Sunday night and lots of newspaper articles . Jewellers have been told when they will have Scottish Gold available and have said when they will then be able to supply . New CEO in charge . Things moving in the right direction
Thanks for the links Rochhead,
Perhaps some people other than our good selves are realising that this is a 'good thing'
Looks like it's made the Scottish papers at least:

Maybe there's a news ban as well as a travel ban at the border?

4p raise in share price today after long slow painful downhill run. Anyone know why?
I have directly highlighted the lack of info on the company website and suggested a new Communications Officer. This company is fast becoming a secret society. Surely shareholders should be the first to be informed of any news, not the last.
''I believe that the extraction system has changed since the filming.'' CheersTB, I ansered RH before I saw your comment.
