A buying opportunity would, it seems, Mr Rocket, have been espied amongst The Quality of the village. We hear from the more indiscreet members of the serving staff that Sir Jasper is communicating, via the new telegraphic equipment, the voluminous attractions of investing in Scotgold Resources to his fellow Old Harrovians and his chums in the Gentlemen's Fly Fishing Fraternity. Though, since there are said to be more than forty rooms in the Hall, it is somewhat strange that Sir Jasper is conducting this communication from the boiler room.
Hi Autumn.
You won't be the first to get his timing wrong! I've been there! My crystal ball often more like Cononish white quartz! Who could for-see where we are today? You have only made a loss when you have sold at one. The only question is whether to just hold or whether to average down? If the latter, I tended to do so in small amounts over time when funds permitted, as it is hard to call when is the bottom. Cononish quartz still contains the gold awaiting and the fundamentals of this project and other prospects are unchanged. Just money and time holding it back and at the ages of a few here, the latter is getting short! LoL!
Be careful all, R.
Thanks for all your replies, I think I'm going to stick and hopefully there will be a large pot of gold waiting to be poured when the markets start to recover!
Decided to buy the dip today and got in at 41p, leaving a little to average down if the business is forced to raise further funds to finally get to production. Personally think that the market has further to drop and that gold will climb higher again this year (hopefully just as SGZ starts to produce!). Plenty of potential upside here.
Autumn, this is a mild breeze compared to what Scotgold has been through before. This is the closest to production we have ever been.I have been very critical of the company in the past but this is global bad luck.even if they need cash to continue, worse things happen at sea.Only you can decide .
Hi everyone,
Looking for some words of encouragement following the recent announcement and continual decline in SP...
I know stock markets globally have cratered in recent weeks but I'm a bit nervous about the possible lack of funding to continue the project. My investment has now halved in value (gulp!) I am the investor that jumped when there were glowing articles about SGZ and being a fellow Scot I thought why not?
Now I'm really worried about there being nothing left by Christmas..
I want to believe but there is extreme doubt at the moment in my head.
