I can only tell you what they've done in the past. As you can see from the history; Interims end of year (November/December), Annuals (year ending March) September/October.
There rest is down to your interpretation.
If you can find an RNS saying something differerent, let us know.
"Company was a much smaller slimmed down entity" you mean smaller than 1 shop and £10m t/o? LOL
"There seems to be little point in issuing full year updates in say September, and the half year one just a month later?"
But you can agree that's what they did last year?
Consequence of that major block of holding....they can move to their own timetable to a greater extent.
Devon, they had previously issued their half year results for the period to end of September 2019 in late October 2019 as the Company was a much smaller slimmed down entity. They had said at the 2019 AGM that they also intended to issue the full year update for 2019-20 much sooner, so hopefully this meant that we could expect it by late June or July 2020? There seems to be little point in issuing full year updates in say September, and the half year one just a month later? ??
This is the entry from Companies House;
Date 17 Oct 2019 AA Full accounts made up to 31 March 2019
Are you sure it's expected now?
Last year;
Posting of Annual Report and Notice of AGM
RNS Number : 8620M
Stanley Gibbons Group PLC
19 September 2019
and
Interims are normally November/December.
If I'm right you should expect the end of year, 31 March 2020, sometime towards September/October.

I might have missed it, but it doesn't look as if they provide an end of year RNS around this time of year.
Was hoping they would issue the full year RNS update by now, but I guess it has been delayed due to the problems during the COVID crisis over getting the auditors in. If 399 Strand is closed, how can the auditors physically attend any meetings there? That means that until 399 Strand reopens, the audit probably can't take place, so I'd guess we will not get a full year update on things until end of June at the earliest?
Therefore, it all depends on when is 399 Strand going to reopen - does anyone know?
